• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Open Spirits return...

Derish suddently stopped. It was that smell again. This time he wasn't confused. "Something up ahead. It is waiting for us." Derish said.

"It's similar to Xhan's scent but it has it's own signature. I can't tell you exactly but it has got to be near the exit." Derish returned to Firebird's question.

"OI! Watch where you're flying!" Xhan sensed the Auras around him, seeing if he could tell if anything was near. His ewebrows came together in a frown as he saw an Aura he hadn't seen anything like since... It can't possibly be dad. Mom is kind of... Dying... And Grandpa is also dying... A tear escaped Xhan's closed eyes, when he refocussed on the Aura. Obviously, it's not the full thing. Cracks in armor. But how are you supposed to plate your Aura with armor? He opened his eyes again, still slightly puzzeled at what or who the Aura belonged to. "Judging from my senses, the exit to the cave should be just around that corner there." Xhan pointed, as if it would do much good. Still sitting on the rock, he took of his backpack, slipped the water bottle out of its bottle pouch, and took a sip. It slid down his throat, sending a chill through his spine. "Anyone else want... Hang on." He promptly silled some water on Angelo's face, then held out the water bottle to anyone that wanted it. "Anyone want some water?"

Firebird said, "I want to know what it is!" She made a beeline for the exit excitedly. Yes, she admitted that sometimes, when she was looking for something new, she could get a bit out of control.

"One of them is coming this way...the small zubat."

He turns to the horizon, looking at the time of day it was. He then shakes his head, not knowing if it was dawn or dusk.

"Well...guess this is something that the zubat will find out on their own"

Derish ran after Firebird. "I'll get her." He said while folowing the scent. He got ahead of her in an attempt to stop her.

He clicks his tongue, sensing the aura of another member of the group.

"This time, it is a Houndour that runs toward the exit...seems they wish to stop the Zubat."

He shakes his head and chuckles softly under his breath.

"Hurry up, Young one...It's about time you met me outside this cave of yours"

Firebird braked in front of Derish. "Hey! I want to see what that thing I hear is!" She gave him an eyeless glare.

Erican ran with the others. "Wait for me! I wanna go too!" he ran quickly to catch up. ((Remember thet Erican is a Pikatwo, so his aura is different.))

Derish turned to her. "It's good to be curious but we don't know what's out there. If a stronger Spirit is out there, he'll probably have friends. The last thing we need is 20 possed monsters decideing they need a snack." He said. He obvouisly didn't trust the scent.

((I have bad newsed. Midnight hasn't been posting enough. I'm going to give him three more days, then he's out for good. His character will just have to catch up. *Sad*))
---
Xhan gave a final glance at Angelo, and thought, He's smart, he'll catchup to us.... I hope... And so he stood up, had second thoughts, and glanced again at Angelo. He gathered up some sand quickly, and set Angelo on top of it. "Hope it's more comfortable than the rocks." He whispered. He stod up again, and ran after the others. "Let's get moving. Angelo will be fine. He's smart enough to know where we went." He walked ahead, toward the small speck of light. He started walking, then jogging, until he was running across the distance between him and the light. He shot inotthe bright sunlight, and stumbled, clutching his forehead from the sudden light. He turned and went pale under his fur. Sitting on a rock was another Lucario, the one whose Aura he had been confused by. What are the chances...?

Finally...he came out

He slips off the rock and brushes the dirt from his fur befire looking at the young Lucario before him. He smiles a carefree smile and holds out his arms to him.

"Xhan...it's been so long."

Firebird flitted around Derish and towards the figure. She stopped at the supersonic blasts that returned to her. A... Lucario?

"You aren't Xhan," Firebird said to herself, directing her not-existing gaze towards the first Lucario she met.

Derish heard Xhan run out of the cave. He sighed while swearing under his breath. "May as well folow him now." He ran towards the end of the cave and (due to no eyesight) clipped the side of the cave exit. He took a large chunk of rock with him. As he lay dazed you could hear him say "**** blindness."

Xhan raised an eyebrow, confused. "Okay, how can you expect a hug when I don't even know you? And how do you know my name?" Xhan glanced quickly around him, noting the trees and rocks nearby.

He lets out a laugh, placing a paw over his heart.

"Now, that hurt..."

He chuckles, shaking his head with a soft smile.

"It hurts when a old student forgets their teacher...But if you must hear my name once more to help you remember"

He takes a small bow and chuckles even more.

"I am Halan"

Erican stared at Halan. "Ooooohhh..." he muttered, not knowing he did. He took a couple steps forward and continued to gaze at Halan.
((Make Halan notice my aura is different! *jumps up and down*))
