By the way, Flash Fire can only be activated once. Amnesia for Tangrowth may not work well, as special fire moves under the sun will still murder it.
If it's a Chlorophyll Tangrowth, you should take advantage of its attacking stats instead of trying to tank. If you want to tank then Regenerator's your ability. Anyway, on Tangrowth, a more offensive EV spread with Growth, Power Whip/Giga Drain, and other moves of your choice would be better.

It'd also be nice to have a way to take down other weather inducers.
 
I wouldn't recommend Charizard. While it's ridiculously powerful, it's also ridiculously frail, especially with Solar Power, x4 SR weakness, and perhaps Life Orb. It may be able to pull off a sweep in singles, but in doubles it'll likely kill something and get killed itself.

Also you have a magnificent weakness to rock.
