Link was more ready for the attack this time, at least, not doing anything that was very stupid. The first attack did hit, though, slicing into his left arm and leaving three deep gashes, which started bleeding heavily. Probably not life-threatening, but if that was his neck or something.. crap. He reacted quickly to the rest, blocking most of them with his sword. However, since that was his sword-arm, every time he had to move it at all, pain shot up his arm until he almost dropped it. His fingers were quickly getting numb, not at all a good sign. Really, this was going too well.
He had no idea how to fight back, though. Aggron was made of metal. After a second of indecision, he quickly slashed as hard as possible several times at what seemed like the most logical spot; on the Pokemon's throat, where its metal armor appeared to be attached to its skin. Unless it was actually part of his skin, like a turtle's shell. It was kind of hard to tell.

Mecha knew that he should open fire, but also knew that this was a tedious stage in the proceedings. Once Dimentio got on the dragon's good graces, he could make his move.
