• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

((do do do))

ES walked outside her room and sat down at the empty of people table. Grabbing a piece of toast ES munched slowly staring into nothing and nearly drifting off to sleep.

Goldenfur snuck in as well and curled up in ES's lap, she purred as ES handed her a chicken wing, left over from yesterday.

CB and Guilmon were ready, and still following Evoli. Guilmon got conked in the head with a footlong sub sandwich, and ate it. Guilmon was very hungry. CB said "Hey! Save some for me!" But it was too late.

(can someone catch me up on what's been happening?)

((AAAAAHHHH!!! 8 hours and there's two new pages!))

Styli had finished his food, so he went over to the boys side of the room. There, he found a bed for himself, got himself cleaned up and made a little bed for Manaphy (who by the way, was beginning to shapeshift) using the extra sheets from the bed. He bae everyone good night and laid down in the bed, contemplating all that happened since he arrived at this forum

((Three for me!!!))
"Evoli?" Not hearing a reply, Callisto shrugged and decided to go for the Games group.

She remembered.....that fateful day..the one where she was recruited. She fought with all her might, but the words....the painful words..they got to her and now she was here. She used to adore the Games section, and now she was making it better. Those people thought it was alright? Seriously? Those fools were destroying it.
((Bad POV, huh?))

Yoshi stared at the familiar picture of a black yoshi holding a sword, wearing a cape, and with angel wings on his back. After about ten secons of staring, he flopped onto his bed, which creaked from old age. His grandpa had built it well, but it was still REALLY old. Xhan sat in a corner, munching on fruit and chicken, and... Was that meat loaf?

She didn't care that the rest were going to bed; she could sleep here for all she cared. As long as she hd something of his left to cling to. The others might have thought that Zora was nuts, but she didn't care. That was their opinion. You had to be a little crazy to be able to succeed, she thought.

"Baby, please come back..." she sobbed. She thought she heard echoing footsteps behind her, and she looked up. But there was nothing. Bowing her head again, her thoughts turned to Chimani. He had given her to him when she was a little cub. And now they were inseparable. She owed him for that, she only wished she knew how to repay him.

But she was tired.

"I need to sleep... I'm sorry..." she finally stood up, the tears streaming from her eyes. She didn't care who saw.

Midnight woke up from an uneventful sleep and stretched in the sunlight.
Ahh... The sun feels so good... He lingered in it a bit longer then went to the mess hall where he saw eeveeskitty sitting there. "Hello friend! Friend can you do me a favor...? Can you tell exo and flora to bring everyone to the training room? It is on the other side of the main hall~ I shall be back later~"
And without waiting for a response he left the index.

((Translation: Gone for most of the day~))

((Holy-damn homework I'm here now...but very confuzzled...))
"..We don't belive that you're going to hurt us or anything. We just..need to make sure you don't hurt yourself-"
Typhoon heard some sniffling noises. "Huh?"
She slowly walked over, seaching for the source.

She decided not to argue any further.

"Very well..." Arylett entered the cage, feeling somewhat degraded. Well... that was the price, she supposed, for doing this.

Just remember the mission... it's all worth it for the mission... remember what she said... remember her... her words... her strength...

Arylett sighed sadly.

Zora finally made it back to the barracks, then went to her secluded little room and shut the door. She insisted on having it separate due to her anxiety around people. Chimani had followed her in, and jumped onto the bed. Zora followed, curling up under her lavender comforter and looking up at a poster of a Ninetales in shades of blue that he'd made her. Having it there was the only way she'd been able to sleep these recent nights.

She turned off the small bedside light, and let the music from the small radio next to her put her into a lull.

"I still love you... Mar..." she couldn't even get his name out all the way before she was asleep.
--------------
Wait, where was this?

It was a blank, white room... Standing in front of Zora, a familiar sillhouette... that then turned around, revealing... him...

"Zora..." he whispered, "Be wary... One of the traitors..."

"One of the traitors... Who? Why are you here in my dream? Where are you?"

"I cannot say... You will find me again, you promised yourself..."

((I'd better go...and bring the doggy))
Typhoon saw that Zora left. "Oh, crap. C'mon Hugh. We better go.." The tall girl limped back to the barracks. Hugh followed close behind, unintentionally dragging the dog inside the cage along, muttering many British curses.

"Uggh! Could you... please... if you don't mind... drag a bit more gently?"

The cage clattered and clanked as Arylett cringed uneasily. She hated being caged... and dragged. Ugh, the nerve!

"Yes I know I promised... Where will I find you?"

"I cannot tell you. The one with the Marril ears has some sort of mind powers, else once I met her I wouldn't have run like that and left you... she could be listening to this..."

"...I see..."

He walked up to her, and brushed a lock of her crimson hair away from her face before leaning in and kissing her quickly. He stepped backward, a hint of sadness in his eyes. "Zora... I'll see you again..." he threw something to the ground and vanished in a flash of light.
-----------------

"What...?"

"Zora, wake up. You were mumbling in your sleep."

She blinked at the white fox, confused for a moment. Then when she slowly began to recall the dream, she realized what Chimani was talking about.

"Oh... Sorry..."

Typhoon beached the barracks, passing the Mess Hall.
"Hey, wait..." She grinned and walked in, Hugh following suit.
Grabbing some long bread, pastrami and corned beef, she strapped that together, finishing off the sub with some squirts of spicy mustard. "There we go."

"Uhr...milady?"

"Yes, Hugh?"

"I'm-I'm going to deliver some food to Chimani and her master. S'okay?"

"Sure." Typhoon added with a giggle. "I'll save half of the sub, m'kay?"

"Thank you, milady." The Charmeleon stacked some meats, two juices and some fruits onto a plate, then trotted over to Zora's room.

"Uh.....Miss Zora? Miss Ch-Chimani?" he whispered softly.

"A voice..." Zora murmured. She was still very bewildered and tired from the crying last night, but she'd fix that later. She watched Chimani get up, jump over her and manage to get the door open and see who it was.

"Oh, hello um... Hugh, was it? What all brings you here?" she asked, eying the food anxiously before turning her attention back to him.

Hugh began to pale. He never was good at talking to people especially women. The only reason he could talk quite normally to Typhoon was that..well even he didn't know.
"Yes..well! I-I was won-wondering if you and your friend would like some food?"

Damnit Hugh! Calm down! his head shouted at him.
