Theme: Trainer of Misfortune!

It's week 13 of the TCoD Weekly Spriting Contest! And you know what's so special about the number 13?

It's unlucky, that's what!

So this week we'll be creating a "trainer of misfortune"! Do they train Dark-type Pokemon? Pokemon that are inherently unlucky? Do they integrate their partner's looks into their style? Or maybe the trainers themselves have been through something unfortunate? Go crazy!

I know I'm new here but I saw this thread and kind of had to jump in, hahaa. What a fun idea! Here's my entry:

Noah

Born in Ecruteak City, Noah was given Murkrow as his first pokemon by the town’s then-current gym leader, with which he quickly began his journey. The boy spent years catching and training pokemon, but not once found his absolute favourite – Chansey, a pokemon that reminded him of his deceased grandmother. Despite having aged considerably since the beginning of his journey, he continues to search for the elusive creature, hoping to use it to fill the empty sixth position on his team of battle-hardened pokemon.

His team as of today are as follows; Honchkrow, Huntail, Pinsir, Nidorino (has yet to find a moon stone) and Skarmory. He refuses to believe his Murkrow has given him any bad luck.

Relates to bad luck because lolmurkrow and lolchanseyisabitchtocapture, and I wanted to take a kind of non-linear route with the theme. Hope you liiike~
 
Ooh....a trainer. Hm. Well, I s'pose I will join. Maybe. I don't work well with people. :(
