Somewhere in Sinnoh, with "somewhere" being the keyword here, deep in the sunny forests, sat a peculiar creature. The creature was brown in colour, brown like dirt or rock. It had a massive forehead, with symmetrical black lines decorating it, and green goggle-like eyes. It say with legs crossed, its colourful fingers holding its knees, as if it was meditating.

Whilst it seemed like it was doing nothing, the creature was actually constantly sending out a signal. The signal in question could only be sensed by certain individuals, but the message to these individuals was pretty clear, Follow these signals, now.

As he sat there, he felt a force, mighty yet light, a force of life. The ones he had been looking for were finding their way to him. This fact removed the burden of worry on his mind, for in the distance, he could feel another force, a negative, lifeless force, and he feared it.

((And that's an oobemu if case you couldn't figure that out.))

In this forest, a massive, three-headed dragon was flying a small distance above the ground. Drawn to the signal sent by the unknown being, the three heads were conversing amongst themselves.

"Are we entirely sure that this is a good idea?" One of the heads pointed out, "if we are being drawn to this signal, logic would dictate that others will as well. And Xi-"

"Would like to thank the both of you on complying with him," another head growled, "at least when we meet the others, Sigma and I can show them just how powerful our species can be. At least, if Sigma agrees."

The middle head paused. "Xi, as tempting as your plan sounds, I think that we should at least give whoever is sending this signal, and any others that are with him or her a bit of a chance. If this isn't worth our time, then we can go crazy."

"And if it is?"

"If it is, Delta, then we can have a little more fun than we would if I listened to Xi. I think you could like what would happen next..."

This Sazandra, known compositely as Agemo Nolispe, continued its flight toward the signal, where they hoped to find something worth their time... or in Xi's case, something not worth their time.

Follow these signals, now.

Emlyn could hear it nagging to him in the back of his mind. He ran, as quickly as he could, through the forest.

When he was nearby, he felt the slight presence of another Psychic type.

So he ran faster, Loony bopping behind him.

Pascallion wasn't, actually, at the moment, going anywhere. He still felt that annoying, rocky pull in his mind (and like a bad itch in his mushroom as well) but more pressing matters were currently on his mind.

He had found a rare flower.

This flower, purple-white and delicate, was the only one that he had ever seen except in his home forest. There were actually several here, in a small patch, but this one was the best one and he had to have it. Carefully scooping out the tiny flower and placing it on the humongous fungus on his back, Pascallion scuttled gingerly forward once more.

The fact that he hadn't seen the flower elsewhere didn't surprise him, but not for lack of trying. This forest was the most vibrant and lively that the parasect had ever ever encountered. Excepting his forest, of course.

Of course.

The plant already sending roots into his mushroom, Pascal skittered forward in the dank coating of leaves under his claws. This area of the forest hadn't gotten much sunlight at this point, and nighttime dew still clung underneath. A young caterpie inched past. Pascal greeted her; she was probably looking for a fresh leaf in all of this mess, poor thing.

The nudge in his mind and the itch in his mushroom were both stronger now. The flower-covered parasect continued on his way, hoping to chance upon some interesting herbs or perhaps another parasect to talk to.

Mimi hopped along merrily, admiring the forest. It was so beautiful. The trip to get there was long, but far worth it.

She had passed many trainers along the way, giving some needed advice. Seriously, they really needed some help. One was wearing long, baggy, orange pants with a purple top and blue shawl-scarf thing with a green hat! What. She had... kind of helped. The blue scarf was cute. The hat was too, but really, she couldn't wear both at once! How would she carry it? Plus, y'know, human hats can't really fit her head. Her friend Lily, a gardevoir, would've liked it though. It was too bad, but the shawl was better.

It was also more helpful, too. It could keep her warm, though she was not cold, she could use it as a whip, which would be fun, but not practical, and she could play jump rope with it. She didn't know much about it, but humans played it. They looked like they were having fun.

It was time to see if they were right.

"One, two, three!" Mimi called. Humans did that as well. She thought it was a warning of a sort.

She jumped up and pulled the scarf under her feet, landing only to jump up again with the threat of tripping imminent if she did not comply. It was fun, but after her fourth jump, she fell.

Oh well. At least my pom-poms caught my fall.

Indeed they did. If she had not been holding them, her head and her precious, clean, ears would have fell in the dirt. She shook her pom-poms out and cleaned herself.

After she decided that jump roping was fun, yet tricky, she went back to pursuing what had called her here. The lopunny did not know who did that, but whoever did probably had good reason.

She passed beautiful flowers and admired them. They were nice. But she already had too many accessories, so she moved on.

After a while, she was getting hungry, so Mimi stopped to pick a Sitrus berry or two. When she saw the hopeful look of a buneary who couldn't reach them, she took a third and gave it to her.

"Hi. What's your name?" She asked.

"Fluffy..." The younger evolution trailed off, embarassed.

Mimi smiled. She tried to reassure Fluffy that there was nothing wrong with her name, but she never really agreed. Eventually, she asked her for directions and left.

In a small, secluded section of the forest, to the west of where the signals were being sent, there was a clearing. Inisde it there was a circle of dirt with a chalk ring drawn around it. Inside the ring, a series of targets were placed in random places. The ground was littered with tiny bits of wood, and most of the targets were cut in half.

This was where Xenon trained.

Xenon had just arrived at the clearing for his daily training session. He charged up a Psycho Cut, and was preparing to fire it at the nearest target, when he heard a voice speak in his head.

"Follow these signals, now."

Though he was a Psychic type, Xenon's powers were more dull than that of other species, most Gallade were limited to using their psychic abilities in combat. Meaning that this was obviously a strong signal. He wanted to make sure he wasn't going crazy, though. He stopped a passing Oddish and asked:

"Do you hear anything?"

"No, do you?"

"Um... I'm sure it was nothing."

Xenon decided the only way to know if these signals were real was to follow them. Without a word, He began to run towards the signal, weaving through the thick trees and vegetation of the forest.

Far above the others, a Charizard flew joyously, enjoying the sun on her back and the wind around her wings.

She snorted in delight as she did a corkscrew, feeling the world swirl around her, upside-down then righted again in a split second.

Follow these signals, now.

Why should I? she thought rebelliously, and continued flying for a minute before she realized this nagging feeling was not going to simply go away.

Fine, she sniffed, and then directed her eyes below to the forest, where she thought she could feel the signals coming from. There was a small clearing, she saw, just perfect for landing.

Wheeling through the sky, she began to descend. She let her wings relax and stop flapping completely for a moment, then snapped them out and flew again, delighting at the wonderful tickling sensation in her belly.

She landed a minute or two later, careful not to let her tail catch the grass on fire. She looked around.

Now where is that signal coming from?

The Shinboraa known as Nazcan was making her way through the forest, hovering a foot or so off the ground, and going in a completely straight line, only veering from her course to move out of the way of a tree, and then getting back on track as soon as possible. She made not a word, but kept right on track, the mental pull and the words that came with it ringing through her mind.

Follow these signals, now.

She knew that this was important; she had a feeling. She was needed, and she would not disappoint. Her wings witched a bit as she moved, but did not flap; she did not need to use them when she was just hovering, after all. Her blue eye was locked right ahead, and she did not shift her gaze, even as she swept past a Parasect on her way to the source of the call.

nearly there now...

Pascallion heard a very, very, very slight whooshing behind him, shortly before an odd pokémon veered its way around him. It swooped back into place immediately after it had cleared him and continued forward unerringly, not even stopping to look at any of the natural flora or to ask him why so much of it was on his back.

...

How odd. It continued in the same exact direction that he did, the same direction that the signal was pulling him. This was worth asking about, Pascal thought; he quickly increased the pace at which his sunset-orange legs scuttled forward, managing to keep just within normal speaking range of the shinboraa. He cleared what would certainly be called a throat on a mammalian pokémon and spoke.

"Oh, you are going this way as well?" he asked in a mushy, light voice like a marshmallow. "Just why might you be doing that, I wonder?"

Pascallion didn't have much of a knack for talking normally, as if he was speaking to someone else or something strange like that.

As the Sazandra flew through the forest, they shot right by several pokemon, who clearly seemed to be moving in the general direction that Agemo was.

"Sigma, shouldn't we try and talk to them?" Delta asked, "it could be advantageous if they ended up being our allies."

"But it would also be advantageous to find out that they would not be our allies," Xi grinned, "then, we could kill them in a rush of dragonic energy!"

"Does that answer your question, Delta?" Sigma pointed out, "I don't want to engage with anyone until after we find the source, if at all. Is that clear, Xi?"

As the heads were saying these, Agemo flew right past a Charizard that had just landed on the ground.

"Fine," Xi grunted, "but when things go wrong - and they will - don't expect me to hold back."

"I never do," Sigma said, to which Delta nodded.

Zeno was wandering aimlessly into the forest, looking for something that might be what was calling to hm. He was still young, so being alone was starting to scare him. Fortunately he sensed several good-hearted people going in the same direction he was. Quickly, he tightened the bandana around his neck and kept going through the forest, hoping to get to where he was going.

Only seconds after Pira landed, a Sazandra zipped right by her. She had heard of these strange, three-headed creatures, but had never seen one personally before. This particular one was talking to itself... albeit in a roundabout matter.

Jerk! It - they- didn't even stop and say hi. Pira fumed for a second, before a realization hit her. Maybe they were going the same way she was!

Taking off again into low-level flight, Pira dodged a few trees before realizing it would be better to fly just above the trees. There... she could see the Sazandra ahead.

"Hey! Wait! Wait up!" she shouted at it.

"Sigma, we're being followed."

At Delta's words, Sigma turned his head to see that it was the same Charizard that Agemo had just flown past.

"I suggest we use this one as target practice," Xi grinned, "at least that way, when we reach the source of the signal-"

"Xi, shut it," Sigma growled. The Sazandra turned around, and flew back at the Charizard, which had begun to call out to him.

"You'll want to excuse my friend here," Sigma said, pointing his head at Xi, "he's always been a bit... zealous."

"Perhaps we should introduce ourselves," Delta continued, as Agemo landed on the ground, "I am Delta, the zealous one is Xi, and the one that was just speaking is Sigma. We together go by the name of Agemo. Sigma and I are pleased to make your acquaintance."

Xenon ran through the forest jumping between trees. He stopped, however, when he saw two large pokemon, who looked out of place in the thick vegetation. A Charizard and a strange pokemon he had never seen before were talking. The other was a large black dragon who had two extra heads in place of his hands.

Now why would they be here? Unless... they're hearing the signals too. I really need to know whether or not I've lost it.

Xenon jumped out from the trees, and landed in front of them, surprising them both.

"Um... Hello. I'm Xenon, and I live around here. But I've never seen you around these parts. I was wondering, were you hearing the signals as well?"

Xenon maintained a defensive stance, on the off chance these two decided to attack him.

As his wandering continued, he heard some voices nearby. Zeno slowly turned around and walked towards the voices. When he saw a three headed dragon and a charizard, he dove into a bush, to scared to greet them. But fate wouldn't have it that way. As he dove into the bush, a root tripped him and sent him rolling into the open.
He looked up and was scared by the three older pokemon standing there, so he curled into a ball in fear.

((Guys, before I can drive the story forward someone will need to actually get to the source of the signal. That is to say, the Oobemu))

Emlyn had finally made it.

<So what the heck do you want?>
he telepathed to the Oobemu.

He nearly collapsed on the ground and was panting heavily.

<Loony, we made it...> Emlyn tried to telepath to his balloon.

He smirked; balloons couldn't talk, much less telepath.

Hmm... This one seems okay. Not too rude - at least, most of him isn't.

"Pleased to meet you too... Agemo," Pira said, nodding at the three heads. Especially if you can give me a bit of... information.

"Do you come from this forest?" she asked. "Is it known for some kind of oddity, like... an abundance of Psychic Pokemon, perhaps?"

"We are not of this forest," Delta explained, "so we wouldn't know whether or not the number of Psychics would be unnatural."

"We have, however, come here for a reason," Sigma continued, "We received-"

"Might I suggest that we don't tell this Charizard everything?" Delta hissed, quietly, "for all we know, it could be working against whomever sent the signal."

Xi, of course, heard all of this, and grinned savagely. "What Sigma was saying is that we've been receiving some sort of telepathic message calling us to the forest-" At this, Sigma growled, and the Sazandra took off. Xi continued, "We're tracking the message to its source even now! We don't know who sent it though!"

"Should you be surprised, Sigma?" Delta sighed, "Telling us not to do something will only convince Xi to do it."

The middle head did not respond to Delta. As Agemo flew through the forest, he could feel the signal getting stronger, and when the dragon did reach the clearing, the sight of the Oobemu was certainly not what they expected.
