Well, I just defeated Sabrina. My now evolved pidgeot is level forty something. My golbat is around forty something. My new gyrados raised from a magikarp is level forty one. I just caught a scyther and dratini in the safari zone and I'm currently leveling them up.

Hey I've got a question.
Is Ho-Oh and Lugia both allowed in GSC flying monotypes or only one is allowed?
Or are they banned completely?

Only one is allowed out of the two. Additionally, they cannot be used with Dragonite on a Flying mono.

Speaking of which, I'm doing a Normal monotype challenge on a Crystal ROM. I'm currently in Goldenrod.

Show the guy in Bill's Cottage a Growlithe... I think you need to show him a Lickitung and Staryu first, though.
 
Okay, thanks. I'll have to do that when I need it. Anyway, I just beat Brock. It was a tough battle, mostly because my guys are a bit under leveled. I started with Lucy, mostly because I've been raising her. She got one attack in before she was destroyed by Brock's Graveler. Then I sent out Lizzie because she knows Earthquake And she wore down the Graveler before being destroyed by Rock Slide. Then I sent out Magnol and he defeated Graveler finally. Then the next Pokemon (I don't remember what it was) defeated him, Flare, and Ares. So it was up to Ty to defeat that pokemon, Omanstar, Onix, and Kabutops, which he did quite well. I really need to train up everyone else before I take on Misty. Why are all the wild Pokemon so weak in Kanto? Why?

So yea. My Grass type mono is doing good. I told myself I'd never do a fire/grass/water mono with a starter, but I did because it would've been complete murder otherwise. :<
Although my PSP is screwing with my Crystal ROM I don't really care.

So anyway, it was a close battle. Okay not really, but only because I had a Hoppip along with my Bellsprout. <3

I'm right outside Union cave I think, I'm not positive because I haven't gone in yet, or played Crystal since forever.

I know I was the last to post, but incredible progress compels me to do it again. Funny how these monotype challenges really make you wanna fly through the game, isn't it?

So, yeah. I skipped Lt. Surge and his low-to-mid 20's Electric team...in favor of Erika and her mid-to-high 20's Grass team. Who would've thought a Grass-type gym was difficult with a Water-type team? i r smrt.

And who would have thought that, with all the numerous Water-type pokémon in Fire Red and Leaf Green, you can only actually catch three before getting to Fuchsia City? (I know I can go south of Lavender for the super rod, but following the main layout of the story and such...) Anyway, here's my progress as I prepare to take on Team Rocket at the Game Corner.
