• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Open The Fight to Survive

Xhan stared in the direction the Jolteon had run. Sighing, he pulled up and table and chair, and sat back down. At least he's gone... Wait a minute.... Xhan eyed a television for a moment, then shrugged it off. He must've knocked it off it's corner near the cieling with his blasting. Standing up, Xhan walked lazily through the hair salon and the pizzarea, and stopped in the hardware store. For some reason, the old tools gave him comfort. He fingered an electric drill, ran his paw over boards, and played with screws. Absorbed in the mass of tools, he daydreamed of building something that everyone would envy. If only the stupid drill would work! He thought angrily. He eventually settled in the office chair behind the cash register with a screwdriver, and twilred lazily and steadily in the chair, wheeling slightly back and forth.

Fuzen almost screamed when the Lucario noticed him, but mentally sighed with relief when he walked into a hardware store.

Fuzen followed him, and landed on another table, this time, displaying a picture of a Jolteon on the screen.

((Okay, I need to start paying more attention to the descriptions of those stinkin' moves! Let's say she got hit by one of 'em, then countered 'em with Thunder~))

"Well, I don't have to worry about him anymore. I don't like sensless fighting much. Unless it's 'cause I'm mad." Zanai shrugged off the battle like it was a small raindrop or something, but a bit weak from the battle and her Thunder attack, she layed down in an alley, thinking.

Xhan had put down the screwdriver, and was once again inspecting the electric drill. He looked at the cord wrapped around it. He got to the end, and stared at the plug for a few seconds. Sighing, he tossed it to the side. It hit the wall, and Xhan, naturally, turned his head in the direction. There, he saw an outlet, and he was sure that he knew how to make the drill work. With a huge grin on his face, he unwrraped the cord, and plugged it in. Pushing the button, his eyes gleamed with satisfaction as the drill began spinning rapidly. He released the button, and put a screw on the drill attatchment to the side of the table. He put on the drill attatchment, and pressed the screw against a board of wood. He pushed once again, and the drill began its descent into the board.

Tskukikage heard a whirring nearby. "What's that?" he asked himself, but loud enough so that Twilight could hear. "What should we do?"

((It's the drill, by the way.))

"Good question," Twilight rumbled. "I was thinking we'd go back to the alley." He stood up and stalked out of the building, waiting for Tsukikage.

Tsukikage sprinted for a short moment, then slowed down next to Twilight. He continued down the road until taking a left turn, and he was back at the alley.

Fuzen watched the Lucario play with a drill, and sweatdropped.
Wow... he really needs a hobby...

Xhan immediatly picked up a tool belt, and began preparing it for work. He had practiced enough times to know what went where. Shortly, it was ready, and Xhan put it around his waist. Spotting an empty spot on the belt, and a wireless drill, he pciked up the wireless drill, and found the battery pack. He took out the batteries, and began rummaging through everything. It turned out he had two more batteries in the belt. He put them in, and tested the dril happily. Putting it in place on the belt, he began to gather wood and steel. Finally, the mystery of the drill has been solved.... He thought, grinning to himself. And armored catapult.... That's what I want. He grabbed welding tools from the back. His trainer had taught him how to weld, so he knew all the saftey tips and procedures, although no liscence. Like he cared.

I'll quit. It's just that I'm slightly behind, and this RP seems kinda boring, sorry :(

Fuzen watched him begin to build, and wondered what it would be.
Wait... he hasn't noticed me yet!!! Wow... he's dense.

Oblivious of everything around him, Xhan collected four tires which surprisingly had air in them. Quickly moving to the hair salon two shops over, he ripped the weathered padding off of two chairs. He brought them back to the hardware store, and set them aside for later. He set himself to work, creating the bottom of the catapult out of three boards of wood. Drilling them together, he hummed to himself happily. He placed a bar of wood along each of the long sides of the new board, and drilled those in as well. He found out how to attatch wheels to it, and did so, running it back and forth a bit to test it. He jumped on the board, grabbed a stick, and pushed himself along the length of the store for good measure. Then he began on the 'spoon' as he called it. He could see the pisture in his mind. A cube at the end of a stick, with an open top. "This is likely to work out just fine."

(I'm sorry but I'm quitting as well. >< I'm behind, and I just can't seem to summon up any enthusiasm. Sorry)
