• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Open The Government

"What!?" Rage roared. She couldn't tell who was worse, the Eevee or the Castform, but she could feel dragon energy begin to form in her mouth.

Shousia accidentally used Astonish when he was startled by Sunny's yelling. However, he used it on no one so nobody was hurt. He turned to Rage. "She sounds really bossy. Let's cook pizza. Or would you rather have pancakes?" The Drifblim suddenly fell quiet and onto the ground, but soon floated back up again. "You're cool, Rage."

Sunny used hail as a bit of a joke on rage. All of a sudden it started to hail large chunks of ice. Then Sunny was surrounded by blue light. As the blue light fadded the hail form of sunny came into view "Chill dude" He said to Rage with an evil smile

Rage breathed out a bit of flame, which calmed her somewhat. She nodded at Shousia's comment, but then was pelted by hail, and one hit her head. Roaring with rage, she fired dragon energy in all directions, thrashing about.

The castform was burnt by the dragonfire. "Hey chill!" Said Sunny before using wheatherball. A large orb shot in the sky but when it came back down it was three large chunks of Ice, larger than the hail.

Abserath nearly yelped as she dashed around, twisting and turning to avoid getting hit by the sudden attack of dragon energy. She had already been hit with hail, and was looking quite annoyed by now. "If we keep this up, we'll attract even more attention from the government. Happy? All this playing around can get us killed, even you." That last was directed at Rage, and rather seriously too, without her usual mocking undertone.

"In my opinion, this wouldn't have happened if Sunny hadn't used Hail," said Shousia. He touched Rage, and he phased out with her. "We won't get hit by hail now," he soothed, trying to calm the Gyarados down. "Don't listen to Abserath. She's just grumpy."

"Shut up!" Claw slammed down his foot, and held one of his scythes up to both the Eevee's and Castform's necks. "If you DON'T want to get captured by the government, or worse, I suggest you quiet down."

"Me too," whispered Shousia when the wind blew through. He used Gust to blow the hail away from the group.

Rage shivered, and slowly calmed down over the period of about six or seven seconds. The Gyarados began to breathe deeply before falling onto the floor.

Abserath growled softly. "It was the Gyrados and the idiots who kept shouting who were actually loud." she insisted. "I even told them to be quiet." The Eevee bristled and stepped back a good bit, away from the threatening scythe. Some impression the others were making... Was everyone either hyper or out to kill each other? Not much of a rebellion from her point of view.

Today, they would find a dissident. A man was held up by 2 robots. Watchdog floated up to him, "You are in direct violation of laws set up by the government for public safety. My directives state that all law breakers must be punished. Will you confess?"

The man replied, "Never."

Watchdog computed his response, then replied, "Then punishment shall be doled out.", with that, Watchdog used an electric attack on the man. The robots released him, and his legs crumpled under him, he was paralyzed. Then, Watchdog heard a faint noise. He vaguely heard some epithets against the government. He sent a command to robots in the area, Investigate.

Sunny (Somehow) pointed to robots that looked like they where coming this way

"Hide" Said sunny in a whispur. Sunny then floated up high in the sky, looking like a normal cloud

"What did you ca-" Rage challenged, but then heard Sunny and was spontaneously phased out. This made her close her mouth, and she looked around. There were some robots. She was about to say, "I'm not afraid of you," but they wouldn't be able to hear her anyway.

"Such immaturity..." Wilphra sighed, just loud enough for the others to hear. After those words, she inhaled, and caught a scent. A very peculiar one at that. One she would never forget...

It was metallic, almost. And it seemed to transmit some sort of electrical current. She, being a Pikachu, sensed electricity in the air, ever so faintly. Upon sensing this, though, the fur on the back of her neck began to stand up. She almost expected to se one of the government agents appear in an instant, not without a certain canine-Pokemon by his side.

Her ears flicked. She had to hide, like the others. Wordlessly she crept into a nearby bush, fitting her small form snugly between a root and a tree trunk. Wilphra dared not speak or move, and kept her breathing as low as possible. Someone was coming. A robot.

Lotte hid in a wall, so no one could see her. "Oh they're up to something, and I don't want to get in it!"

Watchdog 2.27e floated around, the robots and it sniffing out where the trouble was. Watchdog had narrowed it down to this sector of the city. It then called out mechanically, "Dissidents are to surrender immediately. The area has been covered with robotic patrols. Resistance is futile."

Movement caught Zrantox's eye.

He could see a group of robots on the move. Judging by how many were in that group, it was easy to guess what they were doing.

"And I'd like to get in on the fun," he muttered, "it will help strike a blow for the Government, which will in turn help me to learn what happened to me."
