edit: hwoah ninja'd

"Okay. So, Jayden, you're staying here and looking for a Nosepass, right? I'm going to stay here with you for a while, maybe split up or something, so we can find one faster," said Code. "But we should stay together until we find a fork in the path, then we could split."

"Wait, ghost types?" Freya asked. She looked at her Haunter, whom she sent out right there. Garnet just floated around, unaware of their situation. "Ghost types are missing? Are they doing anything weird or something?" She shrugged and looked at the laptop. She heard a noise from behind a large boulder. She peered behind it and found a lone Nosepass sitting and facing north.
"Jayden! Found a Nosepass!" she said.

"Yes," Mohac replied. "I have her address. Obviously she now lives in Castelia City, on the same street as the Gym. I'm off. If you wish, you may come with me."
Without waiting for a response, Mohac released Chain and sailed off into the sky.

edit: seriously guys how many ninjas in one day

"Mind if I help you?" asked Code. Suddenly, the Nosepass slammed into his foot. It was on a rampage now. "OW! Wren, get out here!" He released his Weavile.

"This Nosepass is acting kinda strange..." Freya said. "Fate, come out!" she grabbed her poke ball and let out her Zangoose. "Fate, Close Combat!" The Zangoose obliged, almost knocking out the Nosepass. "Alright, here we go!" Freya threw an Ultra Ball at the rock type, hoping to catch it. It wiggled several times, and locked. Freya grabbed the Poke Ball, brought it to Code and Mohac, and said, "This thing was acting strange. Perhaps its being affected by whatever is going on. I say we do some research with Fennel."

It didn't take long. First it was one wing that sputtered out, causing Chain's balance to go way offline. Shortly followed was the second, and they were freefalling. Chain squawked as it tried to regain balance, but every effort resulted in a spasm in its wing. Its efforts were futile, but it did not give up. "Chain, Brave Bird!" It was cloaked in a harsh blue light, but quickly the light dissipated, only battering the eagle further. At last both of them gave in, letting the air surround their bodies as they drew closer to the round. It would have been all to easy for Mohac to release Prince and fly away on him, but that was wrong. He had to go down with Chain.
There were no words, but a mutual understanding between the too that this was it. They had been through a lot together- that Rufflet Mohac had found on Victory Road grew tall and strong, and even Mohac had to bow to its integrity. He was proud of Chain in every fashion, and was more than willing to go with him. It was perhaps the best way to die- with a friend.
The ground grew dauntingly close, perhaps five feet at most. A final look into each other's teary eyes, and the pair accepted their fate- but it did not come! It seemed that they had been suspended in thin air, saved by a shred of luck!
Mohac opened his eyes, and looked at his savior. A Musharna. They floated in its ecstatic mist, saved. Fennel looked at them dissaprovingly. "You're a lucky little bastard that I decided to show up here, Mohac," she said. Mohac shrugged. "Suppose I am. Thanks for the deed anyway." Fennel smirked and, aware that at this point the fall would not be fatal, allowed Musharna to release them from its grasp.
"Thank you, Fennel," Mohac said in a more serious tone. "We have something we need you to analyze- wait, where did it go!?" He looked around, expecting the massive Legendary Pokemon to come bounding up to him. "God damn!" He dialed Code's number into the X-Transceiver...

"Well, anyway, Freya, Grimm is the only Ghost type I've seen acting up. For all I know, it could just be him. It could just be his species. Or it could be all Ghost types. Regardless...we have to be careful. Electromagnetism is a force of nature-it affects everything eventually...." Jayden began. He paused to let that sink in.
"Grimm has been stalking people I traveled with. Sophia, my friend, was the first person to disappear...he stalked her a lot....he even tried to attack her once, but luckily her Altaria managed to protect her. I've been to all those towns that people have disappeared in-He could easily get out of his poke ball and Shadow Sneak to those places." Jayden said.
"This is serious...people have gone missing, and even died...Pokemon are rampaging through the countryside...But this is only the beginning...I think it'll get much, much worse." Jayden explained.

"Whew, thanks for that, Freya," said Code. He put Wren back in her Poke Ball. Then, his Xtransceiver started ringing. It was Mohac. "Hello? Is something wrong?" Code said. "Ohhh crap. What did you say?" He listened for a moment, then turned back to the group.
"Guys? Apparently, Heatran disappeared. In Unova. Mohac's there, but..." he said. Without another word, he released Crow from its Poke Ball and asked it to teleport him into Castelia City with its Psychic. He reappeared in front of the Pokemon Center in bustling Castelia City. Where did Mohac say she lived again?

Freya looked at Sabrina. "Where do we go from here?" she asked.
"I dunno, perhaps we should go to Castelia." Sabrina said. She took out her Kadabra. "Kadabra, teleport us to Castelia City!" she said. Kadabra obliged. He did several motions with his spoon, and the next thing they knew, they were in Castelia.
"Perhaps we should find..." Freya said, but she was interrupted by a Picnicker who ran right past her.
"Beldum! Come back!" the Picnicker said.
"Beldum...isn't that a-" Freya started.
"Steel type, yes. That's just fantastic." Sabrina said.
"Let's try to find Code or Mohac."

"Arceus, can you find anything in this place?" grumbled Code as businesspeople rushed past him to unknown destinations. "Let's see, that was Mode Street, and then he said the street where the Gym is? Where is that? I've looked everywhere! Hmm, maybe the people in this café can help me find where Fennel lives." The door dinged as he entered the café, and the person at the counter looked up. "Excuse me, can you tell me where Professor Fennel lives?"
"Sure," said the person. "From the Pokemon Center, turn right and go until you reach the last intersection. Then turn right and keep going."
"Thanks," said Code. He left and followed the man's directoins until he reached the building. He looked around; hopefully Freya had had Sabrina teleport her or fly or something, maybe he should look around for her first. He set off aimlessly, not knowing whether he'd find her or not.

"Well, I called Code," Mohac reported. "He's probably searching for your house as of now. It would be a good plan to get there quickly." Fennel nodded. "Makes sense," she decided. "I've been working on a new invention that works on the power of Musharna's Dream Mist. Supposedly, it has teleportation qualities, but it's extremely risky and we may not make it there. Should we give it a shot?"
Mohac shrugged. "I've already cheated death twice today. Let's try my luck and do it again."
It took a little time to set up the mechanism, but eventually it was set. It was a simple device- Musharna was hooked up to a pipe that lead into a machine that harvested its power and turned dreams to reality. All they had to do was wish to go to Fennel's lab, and they would. After usage, Musharna and the device would go to Amanita's PC.
"Alright, here goes," Fennel said, crossing her fingers. The machine began to buzz. "To my house!"
No issues this time. They appeared safely in Fennel's home, greeted by Amanita. "Well, we're alive," Mohac stated. "Now we wait for Code and Freya."

Freya and Sabrina ran through the city.
"Ugh, this city is too big!" complained Freya.
"Saffron isn't nearly this size.." agreed Sabrina.
"Any sign of Code or Mohac?"
"I dunno, maybe they're at Fennel's house?"
"I guess," said Freya. "Let's look." Freya and Sabrina checked every pathway, eventually reaching a house. They knocked on the door, and Fennel was there to greet them. Freya looked inside and saw Mohac there.
"Am I late or something?" asked Freya.

"Not necessarily," Mohac replied. "If you've seen a Heatran running on the loose, then maybe." He groaned. "Hey, stop beating yourself up over there," Fennel scolded. "It's not cool." Mohac sighed. "I know, but I feel supremely stupid for forgetting. No getting it back now, it's already on the loose. In addition, it's wreaking even more havoc than it would have because I dropped it right by a city." He banged his head on a table. "Well, if you're so concerned," Fennel replied, "then the hell with tracking it down!" Mohac shook his head. "It's not even worth it anymore. I'm just hoping Freya has that Nosepass."

Giving up hope of finding Freya or Sabrina in the endlessly crowded city, Code decided to stop by Fennel's house again. He knocked. Fennel opened the door and led him inside, where Freya, Sabrina, and Mohac were already sitting. "Um, hi?"

"So the gang's all here," Mohac said. "Anyone have anyone that we can test? Any Steel-Types at all? I thought Freya had one."

"No, no steel types. But, I do have a Nosepass I caught at Stark Mountain. When I approached it, it went berserk for some reason." Freya said. She took out the poke ball containing the Nosepass and gave it to Fennel.
"Freya and I also saw a Picnicker whom was chasing her Beldum. The Beldum looked evil and just...unnatural." said Sabrina.
"Do you have any idea about this Nosepass?" asked Freya. "And maybe, we could help that girl get her Beldum."

edit: how many ninjas now? three?

"I used to have a Lucario. He ran away. That's why I'm here," said Crow. "And about that Beldum... I don't know. Maybe a Pokemon with Magnet Pull? Oh yeah, where is Jayden?"

"Jayden is likely off tending to his Dusknoir. For the time being, we should make do with Freya's Nosepass. We can worry about other stuff later. Fennel, please hook this Nosepass up," Mohac said.
Fennel obediently put Nosepass onto a machine, and strapped it down so it would not have an episode while the scanning was going on. "Hm," Fennel said. "These brain waves are extremely peculiar. It appears that it is... lost. The waves suggest that it cannot find where it belongs. The set destination is labeled... hold on." She typed some extremely complicated things into her computer, then waited for it to load. "It's trying to find Chief, whatever that means."
Mohac was pretty sure he knew exactly what it meant. He began to shake violently as he fell into another psychic trance.

"Welcome, Mohac," said the man covered in Steel-Types. "My plan is beginning to take action, and it's all thanks to your cute little band of misfits... perhaps without that Heatran episode, Sinnoh would still stand a chance, but now the entire region is in flames... I plan on awakening the one in Unova next... thank you, perhaps when the world is mine, I will offer a region of the throne to you guys..." He began to laugh an evil cackle, and Mohac blacked out.

"I thought Nosepass were supposed to have magnets in their brains, so they were never lost..." murmured Code. "Mohac, what do you-- Oh Arceus, Mohac, are you okay?" He seems to be unconscious... I wonder how.
