How does it prove you right if no-one has access to it? It's like proving that my dog talks because only I can hear it. :/

No-one else on this forum has access to, such as a piece of new reaserch or your dog being heard by everyone but no-one on here will visit you presonally

I think you missed my point. What I mean is that if only you have access to it, how does that prove it to anybody? If I told you that a charizard appeared last night, and I had no proof to tell you that it had happened other than 'oh but I saw it', would you honestly believe me?

If only you can see it, it doesn't prove you right. No-one is going to believe you unless you have evidence other than 'oh but I saw it'.

No I mean something that no-one else on the forum will have seen. Something like a local paper for an out-of the-way region with a population of 200 or so, or something in the journal of some society of which you are the only person here to be a member of.
 
Having things that nobody can verify is about as good as having nothing at all.
 
I doubt that a 200-person town's newspaper is a credible source for any value of "credible".

It still doesn't consitute proof. I could easily claim that said charizard was featured in my newspaper and no-one would be able to see if I was lying because only I can read that newspaper.
It's still proof based on whether someone is lying or not, and that's not proof at all.
 
I would say it would be important to in some way show people, rather than just stating it existed with no supporting evidence whatsoever.
