Two great forum-based Pokemon RPGs

After seeing a number of members from these two forums plummet to about 2,
I have decided that I should do some advertising. Please take the time to read about and maybe join these sites:

Site 1- The Pokemon Ivory RPG

This forum-based RPG involves you taking part in a journey through one particular region (Kanto, Johto, Hoenn or Sinnoh.)
You will have to overcome many challenges to acheive your ultimate goal of becoming a Pokemon master, travelling through every town and city from the region. Enemy teams will often appear, and it is up to you to thwart their evil plans.
There is also a chat area of this site, for casual chat regarding anything you want (nothing adult please!) Other features include a Pokedex and a fan-fiction section, where you are free to let your imagination run wild (Pokemon stories only, please!)
Once you have registered, I will activate your account within a day or two. After I have activated your account, please sign up for the RPG in the correct subforum and I will be happy to assist.
We are desperately in need of new members, although it says we have 623 members, all but a few are users intent on spam only.

Site 2- Poke Central RPG

This is a very similar forum-based RPG where you have to collect all the badges from each of the 32 gymns. After completing the quest, you will be heralded as a true Pokemon master.
You can also train your Pokemon, take part in contests, breed your Pokemon, trade with other users and much, much more. The chatbox is an ideal way to chat with mates, so this site has a lot to offer.

Both of these forums are 100% free to join and use, so you have nothing to lose! I am sure you will find both websites are worthy of more members, and I will heartily welcome you should you join.

Yeah, this site is meant to be child friendly so we don't want any porn or anything on there or foul language. Some people did try posting links to porn sites, so I banned them immediately. I am sure you will agree porn is inappropriate for a Pokemon RPG.
As for the fan fiction thing, it is a Pokemon site so we want people to use their imaginations and create Pokemon stories, not just any old random stories. There are probably plenty other sites out there where you can make other fanfiction.

I hope that sorts things out, I would be delighted if you would join either site (or both sites.) :grin::grin::grin:
 
Particularly, I've been looking at Pokemon Ivory. It is an interesting RPG (Especially since I haven't seen the name before). I don't know if you made it, since it's not clarified in your post. However, there is something I recommend. The look is rather plain, and that doesn't bother me a lot, but especially if you want more members, you could either create a banner or a cool skin that's not extremely bright.

It isn't actually my site, I'm the other Admin on it. What happened was is the webmaster has been gone for ages, so I've taken charge of all the RPGs.
But I haven't got full administrative capabilities so I can't change the banner or theme.

Perhaps you could make a new forum and tell everyone to move over there. Then you'd get rid of all of the spam accounts at the same time.

Also, blue text on black hurts my eyes.
 
I'm not actually the Webmaster, so I'm not sure it would be a good idea to make a new forum without asking the guy who runs it (he's been absent for ages...)
 
maybe I'll do it when new members join, so I can conduct a poll for what the users want to happen. have you got any other comments on the forum?
 
Why do you have the account validation set on admin approval? Isn't e-mail verification enough?
I'm not joining if it's on admin-validation :|

Because loads of spammers posted links to porn sites. I activate all the accounts (unless there are drug or adult references in the username) within a day usually. So don't worry, I will activate your account!

I joined the first forum and signed up. Waiting for an accept.
