Which FF game!?!?!

TwilightRealm

Epicalocity...
Well I want to get either Final fantasy: XII Revenant Wings or Final Fantasy: III for DS. But I don't know which. I like the harder games with longer story mode with no battle scenes like LOZ wind waker. and gets so frustrating you either use an Action Replay or look for a walkthrough on the interwebs. Like the game cube version of LOZ Twilight Princess. That's annoying. Just RW looks like stronghold for the PC and has really pixelled sprites and FF III has battle scenes.

FFIII sucks; FFXIIRW sucks unless you've played FFXII, in which case it's irritating but okay.

Get FFTA2.

I agree with surskitty about the FFIII thing. The other games in her post I haven't played.

I always liked FFIX the best. It had proper moogles.

I've heard the FFTA games are excellent though, so I third the get FFTA2 thing.

Why yes Flora, it should be Sixth *sevetheses the FFTA2 notion* and FFX Int. version has some nasties, but I'm moreover assuming this is about the DS, in which case FFTA2 is best, but IMO FFTA2 is mostly super-easy newbie-game. But I absolutely destroy tile based games, so that's different for different people. FFIV either requires good skill as well as speed, or super grind, you'll still need to grind some before both of these
Mt. Ordeals, Zu grinding works great near Chocobo forest, with white chocobo MP heal. As well as before the dark elf's cavern, Cecil loses tank-ness, and Yang and the mages become more important, which is no good. But after Edward's Harp scene, switch equipment back and hammer him/her/it/ I don't really know cause I haven't go there and red the D-elf strategy off a guide.

Were you playing it on Normal or Hard mode? Hard mode is a bit difficult in parts, primarily Brightmoon Tor* and things where you HAVE to dispatch people; I have no idea as to Normal mode. I've heard that the options are basically FFTA difficulty or FFT difficulty, though, and that's probably accurate.

I have no idea as to the quality of FFIVDS, but judging from FFIV Advance, I don't really expect it to be that good. They seem to enjoy making remakes suck. FFIIIDS made the game considerably easier and simply tripled or more the max HP for most bosses in order to add some difficulty and I'm not even going to talk about FFI+II Dawn of Souls.

* FUCK BRIGHTMOON TOR >:|

I actually really liked XII:RW and I haven't played the original. TA2 is better though.

I'm not even going to talk about FFI+II Dawn of Souls.
Thank you. Everyone I know won't shut up about it and I hated it. >>

I liked it even though while I was playing it, I had barely gotten anywhere with FFXII. However, it's a hell of a lot better with context. :/ As such, I don't think people should get it if they haven't played FFXII.

It was pretty bad, yeah. psst guys making the game 95% easier and raising HP counts does not make for a good game.

... dude wait you're actually upset that Aerith died?

Also um dude every other Final Fantasy game listed here is for the DS. And ANYWAY FFVII was pretty bad. Well, okay, it wasn't as bad as like FFIII or something but it certainly wasn't good.

DoS was artificially hard in that everything had a metric fuckton of HP. Same with FFIIIDS, except DoS let you save everywhere. There was nothing actually challenging about it at all: it just made things approach difficult since nothing would die.

That's the main reason why I say it sucked, really. It's also why I haven't gotten FFIVDS: I have no respect for FFIIIDS and very little for FFI+II:DoS, nor do I have any for the endgame optional dungeons in the whole Finest Fantasy group, so I see no point in getting it.

Aerith was a decent mage, yeah, but not worth freaking out still over her death. Plot needed her to die, so she died. :/

I actually wanted to get FFCC(forgotten last 2 enitials>.<) but my sister qwants to get it.
I have my eyes set on final fantasy CC for GC. I've only played FFVII and I'm stuck on the elevator boss. >.>
