• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Why is the KFC recipe so mysterious?

O.o

I thought the recipe was "Soak in mountains upon mountains of grease. Repeat."

I swear that stuff could make concrete walls transparent.

Well I don't imagine they'd get so much business if everyone knew how to make their trademark food. :S

ETA: Mike that is my FAVOURITE SIMPSONS EPISODE EVER. <3

Because they don't want some random Joe Smith stealing the recipe and either making it public to cripple the company or becoming a competitor?

My god its just chicken. And personally, there chicken isn't the best in the world. It's a little too moist for me(or something like that...).

Anyways, erm, 68 years? Shouldn't they check it to make sure it hasn't disintegrated?

Trust me when I say this: If the constitution hasn't disentegrated over 200 plus years, will a 68 year old chicken recipe disentegrate? No.

It's mysterious because it is the cause for about 10% of America's obesity problems. And because the grease is too thick too look through.

The security is absolutely necessary; in the cutthroat world of fried chicken, many would kill for that recipe.

Yeah it makes sense. It makes them millions and many love it. They do seem to be protctive to it through. If that was me I would give it protection too.

I thought he said "chicken sandwich". But then I haven't seen that episode in ages.

S'not the best line though.
