• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Open World in Chaos: A Sonic RP

Sorry, I misused the word "limit;" this time, as opposed to last time, there's no pre-set number of people that could sign up. However, now that I'm starting it, there can't be any more. And the final number of people is... seven. 0_o *facepalm* *edits post*

Alright, I will start tomorrow, and people may still join (especially since some previous members haven't signed up) until then, but once it starts, there will be no more members.

BEGIN!

Amy looked around the GUN meeting room. There were two GUN officers at her side, and the seven animals she had asked to meet there, all of them sitting at the table. Amy said aloud to the group, "Alright, I have called you all here for a very important reason. As you may be aware, the terrorist known as Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik has recently unleashed a new Chaos creature, similar to the one that attacked Station Square a few years ago. Sonic and Shadow the hedgehogs have gone up to stop him, but..." Amy began to break down in tears, and a GUN agent stepped forward to continue.
"They have been killed. We have also sent several of our soldiers along with Miles Prower, better known as "Tails the Fox", but we lost all communication with them. However, we have recently discovered that there are seven special Chaos-powered weapons hidden around the world, apparently part of an ancient prophecy to destroy the monster."
One of the animals, a blue basilisk named Zak, asked the GUN agent, "So, what does that have to do with us?" in a rather impatient voice, as if he had better things to do, which he really didn't.
The agent replied in a single sentence, "Only you seven can wield these weapons and kill the beast, as you are all descendants of their original owners."
Zak's eyes widened, surprised that they expected him to do something this important.

Calli looked at Tabitha, and they exchanged glances.
Could that be why I took Nun-chuck lessons?Is-is it my weaopn?Calli thought to herself as she snuck away to practice.

Xhan just barely kept his regular appearance, and appeared unsurprised by this, but his mind was racing. What?! Why me, of all the possible beings in the world?!.... Xhan regained his calm state of mind. ... Okay. Well, at least I'll get a more powerful weapon. He stood up, and turned his back to the group. He stared out a window, viewing the clouds in the sky. "What are these weapons like? Are they similar, identical, or are they all completely differnt?" He asked Amy.

Calli found some training dummies, proped one up,and used her Nun-chucks on it.In minutes,it was nothing but a heap of cotton and fabric.
((And to avoid confusion,Tabitha and I are sisters, like last time!))

Amy, recovering from her sobs, told the wolf, "Well, we believe that since the weapons original owners are your ancestors, you may be naturally drawn to similar weapons."

Sylvaiya tapped the hidden whip on her wrist thoughtfully. "Hm. So, where are these weapons we're supposed to find? We can't just go off with no idea where to look." she said, voice soft. She fluttered her eyelashes, looking undeniably more innocent than she she really was. The fox couldn't expect the others to take in her act completely, but if they underestimated her, that might be good for her eventual goal. Tail slowly moving from side to side, she tugged at her sleeves. "And what does this prophecy say? It all sounds very vague."

"Prophecies usually are," kailani said, "They don't tell you what you want to know. They drop hints, pointing you in a certain direction and leaving the rest for your own devices."

Still, that would explain why I've always enjoyed using the twin-bladed sword, he thought, It will be interesting to find ou7t where the wepaons are hidden.

"So, once we get all of our weapons and such, are we just going to win the battle, or what?" Enigma said, somewhat sarcasticly. Wow, what are the chances of me being the descendent of some old phoenix. If I ever get a job, I'm putting "Saving the world" in the previous jobs section on my resumé. But I guess I'm lucky that my destiny is smashing peoples' faces in with a flail. Enigma grinned.

Calli realized she had destroyed the training dummy, and blushed. She went back to the rest of them.

Xhan thought about everything the GUN Agent had said. "What happened to Knuckles the Echidna and Rouge the Bat?" He asked. "You forgot to mention that. Also, when do we leave?"

Amy spoke to the group, trying to answer their questions. "We believe that each weapon's location will point you in the direction of the next. Once you all have obtained them all, it's really a matter of simply heading up to the moon and killing the griffin... if you all feel ready when the time comes. Keep in mind that not even.... they.... were able to stop it.." Amy paused, starting to feel tears coming up again, but she had been crying enough lately; the twelve year-old little girl would have to let a more mature side of herself take over if she was to get through even the next few days.
Zak, soaking in all the information, was also curious about Xhan had said, and asked, "And Knuckles and Rouge?"
Before Amy could even speak, the second GUN agent said, "Agents Knuckles and Rouge are on a classified assignment at the moment. No further questions on that subject."
Zak was not content. "But wha-"
"NO further questions on that subject," the GUN agent repeated. He then said to the group, "The first, and currently only, known weapon is somewhere near 'Pumpkin Hill', a supposedly haunted mountain in the Northern Range. You're hovercraft is outside. Good luck."

"In that case, I'm out of here. I'll be waiting outside." Xhan pushed open the door, and left. As he made his way to the hovercraft, his face switched from calm and anti-social to irritated. Already I can't stand the others. But if it means I get a new weapon, it might be worth it. A GUN agent was passing by him, and took a quick look at him. "What do you want?!" Xhan snapped. The GUN Agent walked slightly faster, hoping Xhan didn't have rabies. "Yeah, that's what I thought."

Tabby listened to the briefing given by Amy. She glanced at Calli and grinned, giggling slightly. After it was over, she walked over to her sister. "Just what were you doing? Did you even listen to our quest? Let's go..." Tabby then started to walk over to the hovercraft.

"I listened!"she called to Tabby as she walked away."Hey,wait up!" she said, running to her sister.

Sylvaiya smiled prettily. "Thank you so much for telling us!" she said, and got up, heading to the hovercraft. Waiting for the rest of the group, she leaned against a wall, thinking even as she kept a deceptively blank expression on her face.

"We'll need a plan, you know," kailani said, "For example, which weapon are we going for first? Do we have a lead? A rumor? A Legend? Do we have anything to point us in the right direction?"

As Enigma flew over to the hover craft, he asked, "How are we going to pin point this weapon's location?"

"The GUN agent already said that we're going to Pumpkin Hill!" Xhan snapped. "We'll probably just have to look around for the weapon. Unless there is something one of the GUN agents has to say, I'm right."
