• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Closed X: The step into other worlds

"Mmm, I see..." Kirita muttered, sitting down.
"Deax said his name back at the hospital. Seems bent on thinking he's still a jerkoff evil guy and he's not." Darkness explained, "He's proven it very well too."

"No I didn't." Deax said.

"I saw you say it." Sephii said.

"I was possessed...." Deax sighed, "By a shadow. Like I used to be."

"Riiiight. I knew that..." Darkness muttered.
"Meh..." Kirita groaned. She looked like she was about to fall asleep again, and she smelled the coffee.
"Issat ready yet...?"

"I think it is." Raith muttered, taking the coffee out. He then began to search through the drawers.
"Now where are those mugs...?"
Meanwhile, Rhythm jumped off the roof and walked into the house, still soaking wet.
"Aidan, please bring me a towel..."
"On it, I guess..." Aidan replied, walking back down the hallway.

"Nnnhh... Thank you..." Kirita groaned.
"Rhythm you look absolutely soaked." Darkness commented. Though she wasn't much dryer, but he'd been out there far longer.

"I fell asleep..." Rhythm muttered, as Aidan tossed the towel to him. He immediately started to dry himself off, mostly focusing on his hair.
"Aha, found them." Raith muttered, grabbing a few and setting them on the table.
"I'll just drink my rain, thank you." Marshall muttered, opening his water bottle and taking a gulp.

Kirita shakily stood up and poured herself a mug, bringing it over to the chair she'd been in, sipping it, setting it on the table next to her and sitting again.
"Is good..."
"You fell asleep. In the rain?" Darkness asked inquisitively.

"Yes. In the rain." Rhythm muffled, still drying himself.
"I don't know how you can manage stuff like that..." Marshall muttered, putting the bottle in his back pocket.
"Neither do I. Blame the storm."

"Alright then. Suit yourself." Darkness sighed.
It was at that moment that Cyndra saw the bottle. Her reasonable side told her not to, but her unreasonable side won out again. So she silently slipped behind Marshall, grabbed Windfall's purse (Spirit had taken it from Zora the night before and hung it up), and got out a bottle of the exact same kind, hiding it from view.

"Hey, Cyndra." Sephii whispered, "Can you hand me one of those vials? I'm in the mood for some prankage?"

Rhythm tossed the towel to Aidan, who walked with it back down the hallway.
"Seriously, Rhythm. Did the rain come down in like, a lullaby or something?" Marshall asked, not noticing Cyndra.
"That's exactly what it did."
"I was kidding."

"They're bottles..." Cyndra whispered back, "Of my special stuff. We're getting Marshall." she pointed at the bottle in his back pocket, "That right there."
Darkness had spotted her, but didn't say a word. This could get interesting. Instead she glanced at Rhythm.
"Suuuure it did."

"I swear, it did." Rhythm muttered, "Either that or someone was playing soft music and made me sleep."
"Wasn't me." Raith muttered, sipping his coffee.
"What're we talking about now...?" Aidan asked, rubbing his eyes as he walked through the hallway.

"Rain and how Rhythm fell asleep in it." Darkness answered simply.
Meanwhile, Cyndra had snuck up behind Marshall and swapped the bottles out. Before he could notice, she backed away and set the original in a drawer.

"You fell asleep in the rain?" Aidan asked, "How the hell did you manage that?"
"That's what I asked." Marshall muttered, pulling out the water bottle and taking a drink.

Cyndra snickered.
"Aaaaand it starts." she muttered to herself, "If you can't get one brother get another..."
Darkness grinned.
"This'll be good.
