• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Closed X: The step into other worlds

Starlight sighed.
"If it works the way it did for Marshall, she'll be fine in a few minutes..."
Now Cyndra had been knocked on the floor, and Spirit was nuzzling her, much to her discontent.
"OK Spirit will you please get off of me now."
"Nnnnnoooo..."

The next minute, Spirit blinked. She looked confused, and glanced up at Cyndra.
"What the hell just happened?"
"Um..."
"Cyndra got you with that soda you've been trying to open for an hour." Starlight answered.

Spirit growled at Cyndra.
"I will get you back for that."
"Um... you rubbing up against my leg like a cat was enough..."
"No it wasn't..." Starlight muttered under her breath.

Rhythm heard normal voices, and looked up.
"Is it finally over? It was getting weirder by the second..." He muttered, standing up and beginning to walk back down the hall.

"...It's not even dark yet." Starlight commented.
As Cyndra grinned nervously, Spirit growled.
"I swear, I will get you back."
Cyndra didn't even bother replying. She just backed into a corner, curled up and stayed there. The look on Spirit's face meant death, and she knew it.

Rhythm wanted to turn around and say something, but he decided not to and entered his room. As he laid down in his bed, he heard something and glanced out the window. A familiar raven haired girl was outside his window, knocking on it. Rhythm had half a mind to leave her out there, but he gave it a chance and opened up the window. Opal scurried in, shivering.
"I thought I wouldn't be cold, but holy fuck was I wrong..." Opal muttered, grabbing Rhythm's blanket off the bed and covering herself.

As Spirit was marching up to Cyndra to do something, she whipped around suddenly.
"...What was that?" Starlight asked.
"I thought I sensed a presence. Must've been my imagination..."
"No, I felt it too. Must've been Reim coming back in. I just wasn't expecting you to whip around like that."
"Hmm..." a silent Darkness grunted, glancing in the direction of the hallway.

"Don't question it, just en-" Spirit paused. Perhaps that phrase wasn't the best one to use here.
"Just tolerate it. I doubt anyone could enjoy this."
"Tch, like I said." Darkness replied, "One wrong move and I'll..."
"We know."

"Whatever..." Darkness grunted, turning toward the window.
Spirit, who was clearly still ticked at Cyndra, went to grab herself another soda.
"And I don't want you touching it this time!"
Cyndra still didn't reply; she just sat in the corner she'd been using as shelter and waited.

"Yeah, thanks for asking if you could use my blanket." Rhythm groaned, crossing his arms. Opal smiled innocently,
"Sorry. Too cold."
Rhythm was going to say something else, but he just scoffed playfully.
"I'll leave you in here. Get some rest." As Opal curled up onto the bed, Rhythm walked out into the hallway and back into the main room.

"She could very well try." Spirit muttered, beginning another struggle with the cap on the bottle.
"Why do they make these so hard to open?"
Starlight shrugged, looking up at Rhythm as he walked out again.
"Welcome back." she commented, turning back to watch her sister try and get it off.

"Yes please..." Spirit grumbled, handing the bottle to Deax. Starlight glanced at her a minute longer, then stood up.
"Hera's been in that room a while. I'm gonna go see if she's alright." with that, she walked down the hallway again.
"Still snowing... when will it quit...?" Darkness sighed.
