Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Closed X: The step into other worlds

Darkness blinked at Starlight and Deax.
"...Did I miss a memo or something?" she asked bewilderedly.
"No, because I did not do that." Starlight snapped. As soon as Darkness tried to retort though, she spotted her sister just barely lifting her hand and moaning weakly. So she turned her attention to her.
"What is it?"
"Can you... move me to a bed or something...?" Zora mumbled, "This is starting to get uncomfortable..."
"Of course." she lifted her, groaning under the weight, and went down the hall to the nearest empty bedroom.
"Will this work?"
"It'll be fine..."

"I think I'll just... go with Deax...No offense, Star..." Rhythm muttered. He tried to stand up, but could only get to his knees the first time. After a few tries, he managed to balance himself on his two feet.
"Ugh..."

"...I'm Spirit." she corrected skeptically.
"He got us confused?" Starlight asked, "That's a first..."
------------
Darkness set Zora down on the bed, exhaling exasperatedly as she did so.
"Zora, you've gotten heavy..."
"Shut up... Agh, I hope all that didn't scare her off...And far more than that, I hope Rhythm's alright..."

((Hereby declaring this on life-support until Markky returns again...))

"He's fine. Tired, but fine." Darkness replied, watching Deax pass by with him, "But... You hope she wasn't scared off?"
"Yeah..."
"Why...?"
Zora smiled weakly.
"Well now that she's here... I might as well worry for her, right...?"

"By her....you...MEAN OPAL?" Deax screamed, throwing Rhythm's body on a bed and dashing out.

'HAVE YOU LOST YOUR MIND?" she yelled.

Rhythm shouted in pain as he was tossed onto the bed. He didn't quite know why it hurt him, but it had, and majorly. Nevertheless, he sat up when Deax yelled, drowning out the pain. No matter how much he loved Zora, he couldn't help but feel and agree what Deax was thinking. However, he didn't want to get up and see what was going on, so he laid back and simply listened.

Spirit dashed toward the yell, turning to find Deax. Her sister followed, then dashing to Rhythm.
"You OK?"
Spirit just growled and slapped Deax in the face.
"Shut up." she groaned, leaning and whispering into her ear, "If Opal's here, we may have a greater chance of getting Desaul back..." that ought to do the trick.
"Just stop yelling..." Zora groaned, "You already hurt him... If I could move... you'd be on the floor, Deax..."

"I'm fine..." Rhythm muttered, a bit embarrassed at the fact that someone needed to check up on him. Sighing, he turned over and tried to drown out the arguing, trying to fall asleep.

Starlight shrugged.
"Fine by me." she muttered, running into the room with Zora, Deax, Darkness and Spirit.
"Everything cool in here?"
"It's fine..." Zora groaned.
"Really." Darkness agreed, "Spirit's got it."

Spirit extended a hand, smiling confidently.
"Don't worry about it. We'll get him back."
"Certainly is a change how you were acting earlier." Starlight commented.
"Shut it."
"Alright, alright," Darkness started, "can you all get out now so my sister can rest huh?"

Rhythm was just about to get up and see what was going on and talk to Zora, but he heard Darkness say that she needed rest, so he sighed and laid back down across the bed. His apology would have to wait until later, but for now, he felt that Zora wasn't the only one who needed rest.

As Spirit was dragged out of the room by Deax and Starlight followed, Zora looked up at Darkness.
"No..." she mumbled, "I want... I want to speak with Rhythm... See if he's alright... then I'll rest..."
"Oh..." Darkness replied, "Of course... Right then... I'll see if he's up to it." she then exited the room, stepping into his.
"I don't know if you heard her, as her voice is pretty weak, but she wants to speak with you. If you're not up to it though, it's OK..."

Rhythm sighed, then went quiet for a while. Eventually, after giving it a bit more thought, he sat up and turned to the edge of the bed.
"Yeah...I'll talk to her..." He muttered, standing up quickly. A sharp pain thrashed through his body, but he showed no indication that he had noticed except for flinching. Sighing again, he started walking towards Zora's room.

Darkness nodded, following him out and watching him walk toward Zora's room before turning herself into the main room, settling into a chair and glancing around. Starlight was in the kitchen again, Cyndra had fallen asleep in her chair, and Spirit had taken to once again trying to get her soda bottle open. Darkness chuckled to herself at Spirit's malady, attracting the blond's attention.
"Shut up-" she felt the cap finally loosen in her grip, but as she twisted it off all the way, it sprayed all over her face.
------------
Zora heard footsteps approaching, then tried to turn her head toward the door. She barely managed it, and it made her neck hurt a bit.
"Hmm..."

Spirit growled at Deax, wiping the soda off of her face.
"Shut uuuup..." she muttered, almost taking a drink before glancing at Cyndra and lowering the bottle from her lips. It had been looser than before when she'd opened it. What if Cyndra had done something?

"Cyndra, did you do something to her drink?" Deax asked, "If you say you didn't, prove it. TAKE A DRINK OF IT!"
