• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Closed X: The step into other worlds

"Alright then." Spirit stated, standing back up and walking toward the door.
---------------
Starlight sighed as she carefully flipped Zora over, causing a weak moan.
"Mmm..." she muttered, lifting her shirt up in the back. As she had expected, Zora's back was bruised all over. She ran a glowing hand over it once to numb it for when she woke up, then sighed again as she turned to the window and watched them come inside.
"Well, is she going to be OK?" Darkness's voice asked from behind her.
"She'll be fine. It'll be pretty hard for her to move for a few hours though, and she'll be hurting for a bit."

Jax ran into the bathroom, coming out in a nurse outfit.

"Don't worry. I'LL TAKE CARE OF HER!" she squealed in excitement.

(.......NO. NO MORE GLOMPIES.)

((ack internet trouble i'm so sorry ; ;))

Darkness hissed at Jax.
"If you touch my sister, you die."
Starlight sighed.
"Really Jax, you should let us handle things. She'll be fine in a few hours, if not a little bruised."

"Okay." she said, running into her room and changed into pajamas, "What time is it? Where are the alarm clocks?"

"There are none." Darkness answered simply, "And it's still around sunset. Calm down."
Starlight had almost opened her mouth to agree, but she jumped as she heard a weak moan from the chair behind her. Turning, she saw Zora looking up at her with her eyes just barely open, before they closed again and she fell asleep.
"Hm..."

Darkness sighed.
"I know... Still, I can't understand why I'm not ready to pass out by now. I would normally."
"Really." Spirit agreed, holding the door open for Rhythm for when he came in. Starlight yawned after glancing at her sister.
"So eventful." she fell back into a chair and groaned.

((OK, any day now Markky ><))

Darkness sighed, glancing at her sister once more before the other walked out, surprising her.
"What did I miss...?" Cyndra asked groggily.
Darkness gave her a look.
"You mean to tell me you slept through all that?"
"Maybe..."

"I can imagine..." Cyndra groaned, flopping down in a chair tiredly. She yawned, stretching and looking around.
"So... What all happened...?"
"I'll tell you later." Darkness muttered, sitting next to her.

"Seems like it..." Cyndra groaned, just now seeing her fallen sister.
"Oh, she'll be fine." Darkness muttered, seeing Cyndra's glance, "Starlight says there's only minimal damage and she'll be fine in a few hours as long as she gets rest."
"Mmmm..."

Rhythm literally crawled inside, looking like a scattered mess as he did so.
"Maybe...I'm not as OK...as I thought I was..." He muttered, resting on the floor.
"Maybe? I'm sorry, but you look pathetic..." Raith said, sighing.

"Clearly you're not." Spirit muttered, holding out a hand to help him up.
Darkness almost snickered, but held it back as at that moment, Zora's eyes opened slowly.
"What... Where am I...?" she muttered, her vision clouded. As it cleared up, she blinked.
"How'd I get back in here...?"
"I brought you back in." Starlight explained.
"Oh..." she tried to lift her head, but her muscles wouldn't do anything but flex a little.
"Can't move..."
"You hit that tree pretty hard. Give it a bit, it'll get easier to move soon."

"Agreed, but let's just see what he wants to do, hm?" Spirit mumbled.
"You'd better be right..." Zora moaned. It really sucked for her that she was rendered immobile for now, because there was an itch on her shoulder that was starting to annoy her.
"I am." Starlight replied, "Just trust me."

"So. Tell us what else happened last time you told us to trust you." Deax said, "Didn't you cause that movie theater fire?"

(xD Just roll with me, Zora)

Darkness stared at Starlight.
"What movie theater fire?"
Starlight growled.
"I told you it was Amethyst who did that!"
