• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Closed X: The step into other worlds

As Rhythm entered the room, he sighed at the sight of Zora. It made him regret even more, but he suppressed bursting out. Instead, he sighed again, and spoke.
"Hello...You wanted to speak with me...?"

"I did..." Zora mumbled, "I... I'm sorry I went nuts on you... I'm sorry I told you and made that whole thing happen..." she took a slow breath, "I see you're regretful... Don't worry, you didn't do this... it wasn't your fault... I'll chastise Raven once I can move again... It's getting easier to now..." she weakly patted a spot next to her on the bed, "Come, sit..."
-------------
Cyndra blinked her eyes open.
"What are you talking about...?" she yawned.

Rhythm walked over slowly and sat in the spot she had indicated. Despite what she had said, he couldn't help but be regretful. He felt that he could have stopped himself from turning Berserk and prevented all this in the first place. Sighing once more, he glanced at the weakened Zora once again before staring into space.

Zora looked up at him. He still looked so regretful. Did he think that he could've stopped himself? She thought it might've been inevitable.
"Look... if you regret having gone berserk and causing all that in the first place... I assure you... Raven gets a bit careless with that tail... I probably would've ended up like this eventually, even if all that hadn't happened..."
------------
"Alrighty then..." Spirit muttered, warily taking a drink. Turning away, Cyndra grinned so no one would see. It wasn't as much as she had given Sephii or Marshall, but it would yield some interesting results.

"That might be..." Rhythm muttered, "But not going Berserk would have delayed it...And right before our wedding too..." he sighed, then out of nowhere, smiled.
"Although, knowing you, you'll pull through it. At least I hope you will, and that's enough."

"Yeah..." Zora replied, mirroring his smile, "It's already getting better though, see...?" she reached up towards him slowly, and rather stiffly because of her condition, then placed her hand on his.
---------------
Spirit blinked. It didn't taste any different, but why did she feel so weird? She tried to stand up, but wound up stumbling into Cyndra and grinning stupidly.
"Oh...? Herrooooooooo there...!"

Rhythm squeezed her hand tenderly, then smiled and stood up.
"Get some rest, love. You need it for tomorrow." Reaching down, he kissed her on the cheek then left the room. As he was just about to enter his room, he heard stumbling around in the main room.
"Now what...?" He asked himself, walking towards the commotion.

"Yes dear..." Zora murmured. She watched him leave, smiled fragilely, then she closed her eyes to try and get some sleep.
----------------
"Get off!" Cyndra growled, shoving Spirit off of her. The blond stumbled and fell on her face, then looked up and her eyes locked on to Rhythm.
"'Sat yuuuu..., Riiithfm...?" she slurred, "Wherrre's those middens yuuu borrowed latht monf...? Yuuu nefffferr gaaave 'em back..."

Rhythm blinked in astonishment. He could barely understand her, but she was saying something about mittens. What the hell had she been smoking this time?
"Spirit...you've gone delusional...I never borrowed any mittens..."

Spirit tried to stand up again, but just ended up falling back over before blinking curiously at Rhythm.
"Yeeessssh... yesh yuuu deeeeed..."
At that moment however, Starlight came out of the kitchen and blinked at her sister.
"Why is she-"
"STARLIGHT MAH BOIII!"

Starlight stared, before looking at Cyndra.
"What did you do-" she was cut off as Spirit glomped her.
"Wheeeeee...!"
"...I am so going to get you back for this."

"OK Spirit... Can you please get off of me?" Starlight pleaded. The drunk blond shook her head and grinned.
"I dun fffink tho..."
"What." Starlight tried to say something else, but when she opened her mouth, Spirit jumped off of her and dashed toward Cyndra, only to trip over herself and land on the floor again.

Rhythm blinked, having half a mind to go over there and throw Spirit into another room. His rebellious side told him to stay and watch and see what happens. Eventually, he just sat down and watched, hoping the delusional blond wouldn't come near him.

Cyndra stared down at Spirit. Perhaps she'd given her too much?
"Um..." she commented as the blond looked up at her, again attempting and failing to stand before starting to rub against Cyndra's leg, rather like a cat.
"Meow...?"
"Er..."
Starlight, after getting up off the floor, simply sat in a chair and watched.

"Okay....I think Cyndra gave her a little too much, eh?" Deax snickered.

(Should Rin come in now...like near this wedding time or after the PW world?)

Rhythm facepalmed. This was the dumbest he had ever seen Spirit. Although drunk, he couldn't believe that this was the blond he knew. Being drunk does some weird things to people.
