Closed X: The step into other worlds

"There's like, four back there. That's the only one without one, and I think she's having something installed when she can. Unless she already did and there's that walk-in shower in there now." Zora mumbled, "I haven't looked."
"She did."
---------------
"Quite su-" Starlight blinked when she realized what he was doing, then blushed.
"Oh, um... er..."

"That'll work." Landon smiled, "I can beat everyone else to the bathroom..." He sighed, then looked out the nearest window up at the clouds.
"Man, when is this going to stop...?"
----------
Raith blushed slightly, then scooted closer.
"Uh...Well, your hands were cold..." He mumbled, putting his other hand on top of Starlight's.

"Hopefully by tomorrow..." Darkness mumbled.
"Really." Zora muttered, "I mean, I like snow and all, but..."
-------------
"Oh no no... it's fine, really..." Starlight looked at him and smiled slightly, still blushing. Now that she could feel his warm hands over hers, she realized that they really were pretty cold.

"My sister's probably still out there..." Landon mumbled miserably.
"Whoa whoa whoa. If your sister's still out there..." Rhythm trailed off.
"She'll fend the cold off. I don't know for how long though. I hope somebody finds her or she comes here..."
----------
Raith stared at Starlight, just thinking. He had never gotten such a good look before, and he just now realized that she was stunningly beautiful. It completely shocked him, as he had never gotten a close view before.
"You...you're so beautiful..." He muttered, blushing more as he said it. It wasn't normal for him to blush this much. He was usually so quiet.

"Meh... too tired to go out looking..." Zora muttered, "I've done enough of that today."
Darkness just grunted something out and continued her stare.
------------
Starlight glanced up in surprise, then blushed even harder.
"Th-thank you..." she mumbled shyly, "You um..." she couldn't find the words at that particular moment. Now that she'd gotten a good look, he was rather handsome himself, and she tried to form that simple sentence into words.
"You're um... quite good looking yourself..." Oh no, did it sound too much like she was hitting on him?

"She'll be fine, anyways. I don't know why I'm worrying. She's been in worse situations." Landon sighed.
Rhythm shrugged and sadly sighed. He stared into space for a while, then snuggled Zora.
----------
Raith let out and awkward chuckle.
"Thanks..." He sighed, staring at Starlight, still admiring her beauty. Raith lifted his arm, hesitated, then slowly and gently pulled her closer.

Zora wrapped her arms around him and hugged him tightly when he did this.
"It'll be fine. Don't worry about it." she kissed his cheek affectionately before loosening her grip and resting her head on his shoulder again.
------------
Starlight blinked at him. She'd still been admiring him, and wondering if maybe that had sounded too much like she was hitting on him when he wrapped his arm around her. She wasn't quite certain what was going on, so she simply let him pull her closer.

Rhythm sighed, then smiled contently.
"I still don't know how you can cheer me up like that..." he said, laying back and closing his eyes.
----------
Raith sighed, glancing at the window out into the cold snow, then turned his gaze back to Starlight.
"Heh...I never really was that good with relationships..." he thought aloud, then sighed.
"When I woke up this morning, I was just expecting another boring day..."

"Because I'm maagical." Zora yawned, "Don't question it, just enjoy it." She readjusted herself a little and stretched in her seat.
------------------
"I'm... not that good with them either..." Starlight laughed nervously, "Really, I expected it to be a pretty average day myself..." all the while she kept her eyes on him. She couldn't look away, and she didn't know why.

"Whatever you say, dear." Rhythm chuckled, turning his gaze over to the window. Landon sighed, stood up and stretched, then simply sat back down without making a sound.
----------
"I've only been in one relationship..." Raith sighed, "It only lasted for a few days...After that...I guess I just sort of gave up...Never went out looking for another one..." He stopped, just staring at Starlight and admiring her.
"You...I have a feeling that you're different though..."

Zora smiled, then yawned again, closing her eyes as she finally made herself comfortable. She was just about to fall asleep when she was suddenly startled by the coughing of the resident lesbian.
"I'm better than I was but I still feel like crap..." Windfall moaned, still toting her blanket as she walked out.
----------------
"Different..." Starlight repeated. She paused for a moment, just to admire him some more. She couldn't help herself.
"You poor thing... I myself... I've been in a few... the guy always wound up cheating on me... You can imagine that I was just about ready to give up myself... But you... You don't seem like that type..."

Landon jumped at the sudden sound of coughing, and looked over.
"That certainly gave me a shock. Name's Landon." He muttered, turning his gaze back to the window.
"You don't look that much better at all..." Rhythm sighed, looking at Windfall with concern.
----------
Raith hesitated, then slowly gave her a one armed hug.
"I'm sorry about that..." He sighed, losing himself in his thoughts. His eyes didn't drift off of Starlight though. Instead they looked straight into her own. He then realized what he was doing and turned his gaze.
"Apologies...Must have been creeping you out with my eyes...Not many people would date somebody with a defection like this..."

"Really..." Zora muttered. Windfall turned to look at Landon.
"Name's Windfall... Nice hair..." she groaned, flopping into a chair, "I probably don't look all that much better..."
------------
"I don't think it's a defection..." Starlight assured him, "I actually find it attractive..." she smiled at him, "Other people must be crazy not to find that absolutely amazing..."

Landon chuckled at the comment, but said nothing. He just simply continued to stare out the window into the snow.
"You don't look better at all..." Rhythm muttered.
----------
"Oh, no. People find it amazing...Just not in the right way...But thank you...Not many people have anything good to say about my eyes..." Raith muttered. He hesitated, then turned to look Starlight straight in the eyes.
"I'm just going to be straight on and blunt about it...Starlight, will you be my girlfriend...?"

"Probably not, but damnit I feel better..." Windfall mumbled, snuggling up in her blanket. She coughed again, but this time was gentler.
"You sound a bit better too except for that cough." Zora observed.
-------------
Starlight was a bit surprised by this sudden question, but there was already an answer in her head. She only paused a moment for dramatic tension, then she turned back to him and she smiled.
"Yes... I will."

"Delivering invitations..." Windfall coughed, "I was a lot worse earlier..."
"It's been said before, you still look horrible." Darkness mumbled.
"I know, I know... I really hope I'm better by morning..." she then proceeded to sneeze and moan miserably.

"Vacation?" Zora mumbled, "Should I ask then?"
"Probably not..." Darkness sighed, proceeding to yawn quite loudly.
Windfall coughed again, snuggling into her blanket a bit more.
"Was it this cold out earlier...?"
