It doesn't have a prefix, so I can suggest something, right?

Change the outlines to match the color scheme of the splice, but don't color it all one color. Make it 3/4 black. Also make sure the color on the outline is a shade of the color inside. :)

If you already do this, sorry. It just looks like you don't.
