• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Haaaaaa Firefox thinks that's a word but it doesn't even think Firefox is a word laughchucklesnort

    They probably taste like shoes.
    BATTLE IN TEA >D

    And yeah right
    "DRAGON WINS ARENA
IF DRAGON FIGHTS HERE SHE WINS IMMEDIATELY LOLOLOLOL"
Shurimon makes up for it, in my mind, but Halsemon would've been nice. But seeing as I prefer Shurimon to Halsemon anyway, that won't apply to you. BUT WHO MAKES UP FOR DYNASMON?! D:

    Oh yeah, Duftmon. :3
Yush, that is cool. But Gallantmon is the only Virus attribute other than Crusadermon in the Royal Knights, and that too is cool. Yeah.

Yes, but he does have a humanoid shape. A lot of humanoid Digimon do have some animal features, but as long as they've got the "Man" suffix in their type, they're a humanoid.

Well, you have Dawn, so it'll be less of a pain than if you had Dusk. Dusk's Darkdramon equivalent is BantyoLeomon; I've had one before.

Also: WHY IS DYNASMON NOT IN DAWN/DUSK?! D: Yes, I've had a sudden kinda-sorta obsession with him starting... today. Yeah.
Then keep talking to me about Digimon. 8P

I prefer Gallantmon to Megidramon design-wise as well, but you knew that. I always seem to prefer the humanoid Digimon, and you the bestial/draconian/avian ones. Well, except for Lucemon Chaos Mode & Shadow Lord Mode. And Silphymon & pretty much every other evolution of Hawkmon. Um.

ACK! This post gets an 'F' in rambliness. D<
There are many Digimon who start off good enough, but can't hold their own later-in. Garurumon and WereGarurumon aren't too shabby, but once you've gotten to the point where it can Digivolve into MetalGarurumon, you've got a recipe for suck. But admittedly, I've never owned an Omnimon, so it might be worth it. I do have an aversion to one-Digimon evolutionary pathes that are the result of DNA, though, because it's harder to gain Aptitude and I kinda-sorta get lazy with that. Most likely due to my old ChaosGallantmon from a previous file; it was so difficult to get my Infermon to Digivolve into Diaboromon and DNA with BlackWarGrowlmon, I didn't want to go through that again. And thus, he fell behind the others somewhat, though he did at least have a nearly-max Aptitude of 97.

But, Digimon like BlackWarGreymon go through the exact opposite; they're pretty mediocre as BlackAgumon, Monochromon, or Vermilimon, but once they hit Mega, there's a sharp increase in overall usefulness.

... Uh, I apologize for the ramble there.
Ah, okay. Keep in mind that once I restart, I'll have to give you my new FC.

Oh, and since I know what that Holy EXP is for, I think it's only fair to warn you that Valkyrimon... well, it sucks. Today I got to experience this first hand. It has insane Speed, sure, but its Defense is poor, its Attack is absolutely pathetic, and it only has mediocre Spirit to prop those two up. The only use I've found for it is to act as a back-up healer; active Digimon faint, switch it in, revive and heal Digimon until dead, switch back out and let the usual healer (namely, my Alphamon) deal with the fainted Digimon from before.

If you just want one to look at, put it in the Digi-Farm. :P
Hey Dragon? I just beat the Legendary Tamer Quest today. Normally I would start over soon afterwards, but since we were planning to do some stuff over Wi-Fi, I won't. Do you have a date in mind?
I figure there's really no need for a definitive starting point, is there?

Or should there really be one? I'm not sure.
