    ... MarineAngemon? Seriously, beware the cute ones--he blows Royal Knights out of the water. In fact... I may have made a slight exaggeration.

    I got my Johto starters from Mt. Battle in XD. First Cyndaquil, then Chikorita, then I didn't beat it a third time. But I could have. And anyway, I now have the Totodile line. Either way, I just can't be motivated.

    This is too easy.

    I have never completed the Pokedex. My patience always runs thin, although with all these events I could with less difficulty in Platinum. However, I get bored just training Pokemon if it doesn't go smoothly. So... that says something about me.

    As a brief break from Royal Knights, here's Anubimon.

    Lucky. Well, they're just alternate colors, albeit rare ones. I much prefer Legendaries anymore. *draws attention away from old and outdated username*

    I play Pokemon almost solely for the purpose of in-game, so there's little sense in doing anything after its completion except start over or hoard Pokemon in the PC. Then I get bored and stop playing (often going on to participate in Pokemon RPs) until they release another game.

    And I'll pull Dukemon.

    My one experience with a shiny was in FireRed with an Exeggcute in the Safari Zone, a loooong time ago, or so it seems. I threw one ball, it broke out instantly and ran. Just... gah. All other shinies I have are the red Gyarados and shinies I got from generous friends. Kai gave me a shiny Eevee, even--that was awesome.

    Between all the games with the Battle Frontier, I have not seriously attempted any of them. I don't do much after I finish a game. If I don't have any event Pokemon on it, I sometimes start over. Or I assemble a non-competitive team for PBR.

    This calls for yet another Royal Knight. I do love those.

    Lugia, or Mewtwo, perhaps? Personally, I'm not using the Master Ball on a Legendary. I'm waiting until I encounter a shiny--I'm not risking anything that rare, considering my luck in the past. I can't chain for my life, either.

    Platinum does have a lot. I still haven't gotten around to all that. Of course, SoulSilver should do a better job of keeping my interest.

    A beast of light? Duftmon Leopard Mode. He should be familiar.

    I suppose if you've got an Umbreon with Baton Pass and Mean Look and a Vulpix/Ninetales with Imprison and Roar, you're set. Now that I think about it, I'd just get a Pokemon to prevent its fleeing, have it put Entei to sleep, and cross my fingers. It must be tempting to use a Master Ball, but where's the fun in that?

    Use a Pokemon with an anti-fleeing move and have it Baton Pass the effects to Vulpix/Ninetales? Of course, in the time it takes to do that Roar could have been used. It's a rather flawed operation, but Roar does sometimes fail.

    Hm. Although you have HeartGold and thus you would have to trade, you could raise a Vulpix/Ninetales that knows Roar and Imprison. That would work, given that it used Imprison before Raikou could Roar. It's a thought.

    I feel so inadequate. I've only got four badges so far. Still, I'll have more time to play this weekend. I aim to have the remaining four badges by Sunday's end.

    That said, I have a feeling that the RP Board, and TCoD in general, will rise from the ashes this summer. After all, so many of us are in school. In my few years with this forum, I've noticed that TCoD really comes alive during everyone's vacation time. I'll be more active, certainly. You just give it time.

    Although school isn't entirely to blame for my absence. Pokemon SoulSilver--need I say more?
