• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

(Can't understand the words... Dx FROM THE TOP!)

I know that your powers of retention are as wet as a warthog's backside... But as think as you are, Pay attention! My words are a matter of pride.
Power of Three. Since the box-set arrived early I got it last week, so I'm on the second book. And, since the box-set only has the first three, I was given the other three separate. Very cool.
Thank you, Exo! Given that there's dinner, cake, and a Warriors box-set involved, I think it will be a happy birthday.
    YOU LUCKY BEAST.

If there was one thing I could save in case of a fire/natural disaster, it would be my C&H collection.
ohcrap sorry I was gunna do that and forgot. :V yeah you can post with 'em now.

    Also I've been a bit busy, but as soon as I know what to post, I will ^^;
True. But for me, anything beyond the main story is generally tedious. I try to get out of it what I feel up to, though.

Because they're fun to play? That I know to be true, and it's the best explanation I've got.
You know, it must be somewhat disappointing how you effectively beat the game in less than a month. I won't be far behind. Well, until the 5th gen! Maybe Mystery Dungeon will do something.

I did rather notice the lack in diversity. I never really felt the need to point that out, seeing how well you play to your character-niche. I draw inspiration from your characters when playing that archetype.
Two-thirds of those are Legendary! And I was reluctant just to put Raikou on my team. It's not a big deal, though. It would seem Feraligatr and Jirachi are the only Pokemon you had to put effort into training, and that floored me a bit at first.

Anyway, that must have taken quite a bit of luck. And I would say playing to type-advantages, but that doesn't look like a very diverse team. So, that's quite an accomplishment. Mine is Feraligatr (Lv.49), Alakazam (Lv.48), Ninetales (Lv.48), Umbreon (Lv.47), Raikou (Lv. 49), and Pupitar (Lv.38), so it needs work. At the moment, I'm just trying to catch Latios, though. Then Entei (who I've weakened sufficiently), then Articuno and Moltres (got Zapdos!), then Ho-Oh and Mewtwo, and then, after I train some more, I'll think about Red.

Sounds like Galacta Knight to me, although I failed rather miserably with that. I was planning something, though...

My favorite characters are the aforementioned Galacta Knight, Henrietta... I suppose Duftmon. Ruby & Gladys too, as short-lived as they were. Meta Knight is a misfit in that crowd, but he's a favorite nonetheless. Jupiter would be had the RP gone anywhere. Despite how I like these sorts of characters, I try to change things up a bit. Sometimes I like the results. Often times they're the more heroic-going-on-neutral sorts: Chikorita & Torchic, Kotemon. Timid, quiet, and sometimes a bit naive. More sympathetic.

Although Galacta Knight is my favorite, easy.
Those are the only Pokemon I've traded over, or at least traded over and kept there. What Pokemon did you use, and what levels were they?

I always try to play characters that will have an interesting role or potentially add a twist to an RP. That said, my favorite characters of mine are highly critical of others, at least partially psychotic, uncooperative, smart-mouthed, and/or power-obsessed, and thus not great people to be around overall. Galacta Knight is all of those.
    That's what everybody says. :P

... How did you beat Red that fast? I mean, did you use Pokemon from other games, or what? That blows my mind of a Pokemon amateur. My Pokemon are all not quite Lv.50.

I know that feeling. When it comes to RPs, I often have every little detail planned out before I write it, but then I lose motivation to the point where, even if I do have people, it barely gets past the exposition. And if it does, it changes somewhat radically because RPs are much harder to plan for obvious reasons. Like, other people. Of course, I do let that happen just so things are as interesting for me as everyone else.

I think it will, just because everybody will be here then. And then we can get something done, RP-wise.
Sorry about that angsty little rant of mine from earlier. As you know quite well, I sometimes need to blow off steam.

But that's not important. How are things in Exo-land? Or HG/SS land? I've started my spring break only yesterday, and already I'm rather stir-crazy. I just got all 16 badges today, and now I'm going on to capture the remaining Legendaries. I caught Raikou some days before, actually, before I got my eighth badge, and it took me one night to get him. I named him after you, because you're who I think of when I think of Raikou. Totally subtle flattery! :D

Basically, the reason I'm starting up this conversation again is because I'm bored and I need a human being I share interests with to talk to. And I do feel bad about my last message.
Yeah. I'm not sure if I'm going to bring it back now, as I've mentioned before my life has become about 700% busier than it was when I started and when I did make a post on it no one responded. So if I do decide to officially revive it, I'll let everyone know.
My last bestial Royal Knight, Sleipmon.

How very fitting and true. I missed your message because, having no homework, I decided to lie down and rest for a bit. I fell asleep and woke up a little under five hours later, at 10pm. Maybe I needed it, but I'm not happy. And that's an understatement. I wish I had had the motivation to, you know, stay awake and do something.
