  • That means a lot to me. :3
I was pointing out the illogicality of you using the word "take" when the whole point was that I was trying to stop you going anywhere, but.

Some of them, yes. And the whole "size of your head" thing was just an arbitrary measurement. It's not like I can see through computers screens or anything, no >>

Mine never believe me. To be fair I haven't done any, and I have chronic procrastination problems. But y'know =p Ironically I'd be getting into the uni pretty much for certain if they hadn't made me do Maths and I'd bothered to carry on with German or French. I miss languages ;_; Though luckily I'm getting on sort of well teaching myself Italian.

Guess it's just as well I'm not going to Aberystwyth, I doubt you want me running around while you're trying to be at uni. And Southampton Solent is the only university in the country with a tank for testing model yachts, apparently. We were told not to drink from it when we were being shown round, which is sort of worrying.
Surely you mean "you'll never keep me alive"? :P

They are awesome :D I got four but had to give two away as presents, bleh. One didn't have any layers inside but had a little bottle of vodka instead :3 They had some stupidly huge ones, though. Like, ones as big as your head with about 20+ layers that went down to the size of a baked bean.
I stacked them up safely, anyway, so Putin is safely stashed inside Gorbachev now.

Yay ^_^ And now begins the endless torrent of nagging from my parents, who don't seem to think I realise revision can be helpful for exams.
I was thinking about Aberystwyth, actually, since it's among one of the universities with seemingly no standards with regards to law students and thus perfect for me, but then I realised it's miles away so. And I was thinking of Reading too but they want AAB which I am never ever getting.
OH MY GOD A FLAZEAH, DUCT TAPE IT TO THE WALL BEFORE IT ESCAPES AGAIN

I mean, uh, hey, I missed you :3

...I'm not sure I typed much about my stint in Russia, except my description of the three incidents in the Funny Moments At School thread, but oh well :3 It was incredible, and I now have a Russian hat, two matryoshka dolls and a just about complete knowledge of the Cyrillic alphabet. One of my matroyshkas is themed after Russian leaders, and I'm paranoid about losing Vladimir Putin :<

PSHE in our school consists of filling in questionnaires and listening to politicians. Actually most of the time it's "we don't even actually care, just do some work or something".

My uni trekking has gone brilliantly. Didn't like many of them as much as Anglia Ruskin, so I put that as my firm as soon as I got all my offers and just put Southampton Solent as my insurance because that's the only one with a slightly lower entry requirement. I've applied for accommodation and everything so now I just need to do my finance and get the grades :> Any ideas where you're going yet? (Actually I don't think I've even asked what you plan to study yet o.o I feel thoughtless.)
Haha, s'fine; I've been absolutely abysmal at replying recently; just ask Kai ><

Well, the Kent uni uildings are a bit rubbish looking, to be honest - I lived in Rutherford in my first year and it was designed by a prison architecht and you can really tell, but Canterbury's an absolutely amazing city. It has everything you need but isn't overwhelming, it's close to London, close to Dover (and, by extention, France - handy for you), and the crime rate's practically zero; certianly a lot lower than most university cities. And no, they're not paying me to say all this XD

Nottingham's a really great uni; I hate to say it, but it's probably better than Kent, because it's one of those really old unis with a really good reputation. I applied there (didn't get in, though), but Kent was my backup and I really love it here. I've never been to Reading, but it's not too far from Kent :3
What're your backup choices? And what degree are you gonna be studying for, again? French, German, French and German or something totally different?
AW CRAP I just realised I missed your birthday again. Dungbombs. Er, Happy Birthday! Unbirthday! Yes!

:0 Congratulations on your German A; I have a friend taking AS level German at the moment and she's constantly swamped with work. I suppose it's easier if you enjoy it, though. |D; *was terrible at French/German*
Ja (ooh get my German skillz), I got my GCSE results back in the summer and they were pretty good - A*'s to B's excluding one C and one D. I was relieved I didn't completely fail everything, anyway. XD

Our sixth form common room just got converted into a sort-of-a coffee shop place, and given the weather (and that they sell muffins!) I've been in there a little more often; under closer inspection, we have a kettle and a microwave! 8D Hot chocolate hurrah~!
Haven't had chance to use the table football yet though. Always a mob of people hogging it. |C DARNIT SHOO.

    Pretty lifts? XD I dunno; if you mean the ones you go up in (which... I figure are the only lifts there but) they were kinda pretty in the giant wheels and how they worked and stuff, but they kind of reminded me of the promo videos and things for the Tower of Terror on Disneyland, so I was a bit ooh er. |D;
Merry-go-rounds...? I didn't see them. D: They were doing a load of construction when we were there, though; maybe they moved them.

So were you, like, living on the boat? :D That's so cool. I've never been sailing in my life, but it sounds amazing. XD And driving a motorboat is also fairly badass. Sounds like it was a good holiday.

Haa, you were lucky. It was freezing today. *fistshake*
(This is possibly the fastest I've replied to a VM, ever. NaNo, what have you done to me? D:)

Whee, edit: HAPPY BIIIIRTHDAY~ It's a French Marigold, cause... you like France I think? X3; And I couldn't find any interesting German flowers! So yes. Happy Eighteenery. :3
Absolutely EVERYTHING in it is purple <3 I won't have any lectures there because Law is in a totally different building, but I'll sneak in every so often or something.

Being able to vote will be fun. After all, it might just be my under-18ness stopping the Monster Raving Loony Party coming to power. (Huh, Firefox seems to think under-18ness is a word. Fun.) I'll have lessons on my birthday, sadly; four of them in fact (not that PSHE is a lesson). But then I'll be free to hit balloons, eat cake and stubbornly refuse my right to drink alcohol.
Aw, that's fine. Makes it more fun to get messages from you :D Or something. But wow, it must have been ages since we last talked- I see I still thought I was going to go to Reading back then x3 Even if I could get in there I'd still be going to Anglia Ruskin, cos they have a PURPLE LECTURE THEATRE. I don't care how effeminate it sounds, nothing ever has or ever will made me happier than that sight.

I could have spelt ACCEDE if I had another subject and got an E in it :D So yeah, and A (Law), two Cs (History and General Studies), a D (Biology) and an E (Maths). I think an ADD ought to get me the 240 points (maximum) I need for all the universities I want to apply to, so I might manage the grades. I hope D:

How was your birthday anyway? (Aaaah mine's in a week. I don't want to be 18, I'll feel so old and I'll have to be an adult and blech)
Argh! Aww, you should've said something sooner! D:
Anyways, I hope you had a good time and things; are you likely to come here?
Just thought I'd point out, your avatar quest is long over and yet I notice your signature still speaks of it. :3 (Too much information by the way xD)
Ew, ew. XD It's weird talking about exams again; brains going all 'ahhh what are you doing they're over stop talking stop taaalking!' but yes. Did your results come out yet? They'd be the AS level ones riiiight *has lost track* X3; Mine are out on Thursday. *customary shudder* Ooh, Aberystwyth~ They get quite a lot of snow up there when it falls, if you end up going. :3 Don't know much about the Uni itself, though.
Yes, we have a common room, but no toaster. We have a kettle and a football table, though! Not that we spent much time in there during the induction week mind cause it was absolutely boiling so we all went outside to fry. :D

The schedule on our trip kind of went out the window cause we kept hitting traffic. XD More of a mad dash around everything at once. Bit like yours, I suppose. Oh yes~ We went up the Eiffel Tower, to the, um, second level? Not all the way to the top, like halfway up. It seemed high enough though, could see so far. :0 It was a sunny day, so. It was pretty epic.

XD That's okay. How was your holiday? And you've always had non-uniform? Maaan your school still sounds cool. :P

Aw, that's so sweet of you to say. :3 It's alright, though; she was seriously old. Twenty-two in human years is a pretty good run, I think. It's just odd cause we've had her my whole life; it's bizarre opening a can of tuna and not immediately have her under your feet. XD But it's okay, thank you~
Hmmm... I think I'll let you off. But don't let it happen again X3 And no problem ^^ I like just browsing to too, some of the card illustrations are pretty ^^ Hehe.

And noooo I don't D: As soon as it gets warm my body feels the instant need to jettison all fluid through the skin. I really didn't think I could sweat that much, ever XD It's a question of scale either way really. I like cold but not bitter cold, and I like warmth but not really excessive heat >.<

And haha, might see you there then XD If I get the grades and stuff. Speaking of which howd you do with your A levels?
:o Yes, do it :D Then one day if you forget I can pounce and go HAHA FLAZEAH YOU FORGOT YOUR AVVY QUEST. I could probably do that myself actually, what with all these Meowth trading card pictures I have >D

Glad you had a good time on holiday :D I wouldn't say the weather's been particularly warm in general... but then I despise warm weather. That heatwave right at the start of summer was hell for me ;; And I guess it is long for a school trip, but it's pretty darn short for £1400 which is what I think they're charging for it. I imagine I'll find it very hard not to have an awesome time, thank you ^^

I still need to find another couple to apply to... yeah, I really need to start looking at the UCAS site again o.o I think the ones that interested me slightly were... Reading, Gloucestershire, and I think Warwick. Oh, and Oxford Brookes in case I can't be bothered to live at uni since Oxford's within a bus ride from here. (And not partly because I'm slightly worried they might not let you take games consoles, honest <_<)
Hehe, thank you! ^^ I like Meowth. Obviously :3 Yours is nice too, though I must admit I prefer your old Flareon one :D

Ooh, holiday? Did you go anywhere nice? =) I've just been stuck here all summer, but that's OK, I'd rather be. :D And yup, Russia in February. Should be fun but VERY cold >< We're going to Moscow and St Petersburg, I think. Only for 4, 5, maybe 6 days but feh. :3

And yeah, I expect I'll visit a few. I'm not 100% sure what I want to do yet but I think I'll probably go to university. There are two or three I'm sort of interested in so I'll probably go and visit those... when I can be bothered x3
Five hours of exams? o_O; Woah. The most we had was... three and a half, I think. That sucks. XD But I'm sure you did great~

Ooh, that sounds really cool :3 Not so much the translating bit, but visiting people and going to Paris sound like fun. I went on a trip with school last year, but we didn't do much shopping, more dashing around like crazy people to see the sights. XD Really cool city though.

Uh, we've just finished our exams (!! hurrah 83) so we're done now, three weeks before the rest of the school. Have to go in all next week for this induction period into the sixth form though, which is a bit of a drag but hey, we get to start wearing non-uniform. :3 What about you? Have you finished already?
    Growl growl growl growwwwwwwwwwwl D<
Nah, kidding. I'm sure you were just, um, really savouring my message. Even though it was just a generic conversation-starting featuring inquiries into your well being and such. Or maybe you were typing that huge reply all this time. Ehe ^_^ Or maybe all your previous attempts at a reply consisted entirely of Ks, Ts and Xs! We shall never know.

Anyway, glad to hear you're well =D And that you enjoyed France! (Weren't you in Germany not that long ago on work experience? You lucky git =D) Maybe I should have carried on a language... stupid parents making me take Maths which is EVIL D8 Still, I'm off to Russia next year with History, so... *blows raspberry* >=)

My exams were alright, thanks ^_^ Maths was a bit iffy but I don't care, so yay. Law was a bit of a nightmare... I'm good at the subject but the two exams were scheduled back to back, so not only did I have a 3 hour continuous exam but I had to learn ALL the material for just one afternoon. D:

Still, I managed to pick out at least one question for all my strongest topics so I'm quite confident about that exam. Finished my last one the Monday before last and got 6 whole days to sit around gaming and further neglecting my comic before I had to go back for all kinds of preparing-for-A2 fun. And nope, no work experience that I know of, which in a way is a tad discomforting XD

(I quite like "thankies" as well. Gods bless the Internet B))
Hey, don't worry about it; I'm ridiclously lazy myself. X3; And time runs away - I thought I read this just a couple of days ago but it was actually nine. o.O Mm, Easter~ Can't go wrong with all the chocolate. |3
Yup, we call it Year 11 as well... so yeah, got a load of exams in a month or so. I was just looking at the exam timetable and it turns out I have seven exams in the space of four days at one point. ;>> You're in Year... 12? Right? And I read about you doing work experience abroad again. :D That'll be fun~
