if it's any consolation, the seemingly insignificant margin of error in my rough calculations means that Reynolds is actually going to get the KO!
They rise, and we never really came up with something (as you said), but possible ideas were charging extra energy for those stats in some way and/or having the stat boosts fade or even invert after some short amount of time.

For one-word cases there's also the possibility of garbling out, say, at least half of the letters in the word, but that could get complicated for the ref to search for alternatives, so forced-Metronome is fine too!
