Yup, there's a book, but it's pretty heavy-going; it's very adult-oriented (with way more sex, death, politics and religion than the musical, which you can take little kids to), but also very, very good.
No, Rocky Horror is more of a comedy than anything, and it parodies the horror and sci-fi movies that were around at the time. It's very strange in times, but I think it's brilliant :)
Well, I kinda assumed you'd seen the animated musicals; I agree they're the best, but if you want to see some other ones and somewhat enjoyed HSM, I thought I'd at least suggest them.
