recently disheartened to learn some users I was friendly with here on the forums as well as in IMs/the tcod IRC channel have since been complicit in abuse, of minors & animals.
much of the tone/content of those chats is unsettling to me as an adult looking back, though can hardly condemn those of us who were minors at the time when there were adults we respected setting the tone.
wanted to voice awareness of this & of how cavalier some of my own attitudes were.
