Huh, why especially in a daystart game?yeah, it is. i personally don't think it's good for town though (and as far as i understand it, that's especially the case in a daystart game)
Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.
Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.
Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

girl who dropped off the face of the planet in the middle of our last DMsFOR ME!!!!!!!!Dodge ignored my post to him too......... why did I even come back.......
tbh I mostly wanted to try to help the newer players get into the game more than I was looking for much from their responses. I dunno if I can get much out of them.Mawile, if you feel inclined to vote me, please do!
@Eifie, do you have thoughts on missingno and Dodge's responses to your pokes? / specifically, curious for your thoughts on this thought:
I think missingno's response is maybe slightly towny, because it feels pretty brazen to actually type out, effectively, "I have no thoughts and I am aware this is suspicious", whereas he seems like he would want to go under-the-radar as mafia and also has at least enough experience with the game to be aware that it'd be less sus to make something up. I'm not sure if I'm making too much out of it, since their other posts haven't inspired much for me - I guess the thought process for mafia missingno there would have been something like "no one is having thoughts, so to blend in I will also profess to not have thoughts"
i also think she's towning but idk if i really think this part is AII think her post in the signup thread gave her a clear opening to just screw around or dip in case she was mafia
hm, i don't think these things were necessarily opposed? i did have the same question as you. but i think it was +town for her to bring it up as a point of discussion at a stage where nothing was really happening, and her response to your post also made enough sense to me. i will say that i am a bit unsure if that was meant to be an FoS on keldeo but i also have a tendency to misread mf's intent so i'm tempted to give the benefit of the doubt atm.also I am not multi quoting on mobile but @mewtini I took you liking my post to MF earlier to mean that you had the same question I did, but based on what you said about liking her poking at the vote I guess that was not it? what up
i feel a bit unsure about this part thoughany particular reason why Mawile? I can think of a couple, but let's hear it from the wet horse's mouth first
what do you mean by Mawile's reaction to it, particularly? So sorry! I somehow scrolled past itDodge ignored my post to him too......... why did I even come back.......
My thoughts so far are: Bold to assume I have thoughts.
OK, no. I agree that keldeo's move wasn't especially weird, and neither was Mawile's reaction to it. I dunno how to gleam much more information than that lmao
That said, I'll second Mawile's request for the reasons MF had thought of for keldeo picking Mawile. Not because I think they'll be enlightening, but I bet they'll be funny.
OMG I'm Town too! We're pretty much the same person!anyway i think a fun thing to do day 1 is to go person by person and say whether we are town or mafia. just for future reference.
i'll start i am town
Indeed it does. I figured it would be a joke since we didn't know much, but turned out to be, in fact, enlighteningmostly I've thought of it possibly being out of some sense, however accurate, that you're the kind of player who only locks in if they're under pressurealso i forgot to quote this earlier. but what reasons LMAOany particular reason why Mawile? I can think of a couple
does the above satisfy? That said, I'll second Mawile's request for the reasons MF had thought of for keldeo picking Mawile. Not because I think they'll be enlightening, but I bet they'll be funny.
Mostly the lack of reaction, really. I figured it was a joke vote or a way to start conversation, and Mawile thought the same toowhat do you mean by Mawile's reaction to it, particularly? So sorry! I somehow scrolled past itDodge ignored my post to him too......... why did I even come back.......

re: your thought, we've both tried to apply this read many times before and it has turned out to be solidly non-indicative. I've definitely seen newer players who are mafia brazenly declare to have no thoughts whatsoever.
honestly I'm actually a little suspicious of how he now keeps making posts to drive home that point, but I don't wanna pick on the new guy especially when it's because I poked him in the first place......... idk am I being silly
anyone got a town read to sell me other than myself? I need one
Do you mean enlightening in the sense that you learned something about Mawile as a player? I dunno that I'd call Mawile locked in now. (This is not like a negative, I wouldn't say that anyone is currently "locked in" in this game.) Or how else did learning that help you?I figured it would be a joke since we didn't know much, but turned out to be, in fact, enlightening
hmmm... most people I feel like I'm still waiting to get in the thread properly so I've been holding out on voting. so okay fine, let's tryre: your thought, we've both tried to apply this read many times before and it has turned out to be solidly non-indicative. 1. Okay fair, I will reset on him, but 2. it was a read specifically relating to whether his persona as a socially conscious player would be able to do that fearlessly, not him as a new player, but 3. I agree that if he is mafia, he is playing up the "I got nothing" angle, so 4. let's just let him cook since he hasn't returned yet. Also, yes, I think that is silly, he clearly is around and reading/posting, so I think it's fair to wolfread them for similar reasons to anyone else (but let's continue this conversation after they answer my question)

Mebut I don't have anything to sell that would be anything, I don't think anything is really anything right now. Will you vote Mawile with me to see if anything shakes out of that to help? If not will you vote somewhere else and I will follow?
I kinda think if mewtini is mafia, her attitude toward MF makes MF more likely to be town, but I have no particular reason to suspect or trust mewtini rn.

If we were locked in, it would be a locked-room moostery!
missingno, (missing)no worries! Also, huge respect for your emoticon game. Where do you get them?

@Dodge, if I asked you to place a vote, who would you vote for? If you don't want to vote for anyone, do you have anyone that you particularly find trustworthy?
(Big neon disclaimer on any asks for votes that I really do not want to pressure anyone to play the game in an unfun way for them or for the group! I am just rolling along...)
Hmm...I'm not sure on who I'd place a vote on, don't really think anyone is particular sus right now.@Dodge, if I asked you to place a vote, who would you vote for? If you don't want to vote for anyone, do you have anyone that you particularly find trustworthy?

Most likely by being much worse at guessing than I usually am :,-)Wow, being able to vague tweet about an ongoing game sounds fun lol. How do you think you will approach this game not knowing as many participants as well?Twitter mafia is played in DM group chats, but players are also allowed to vaguetweet about the game. Tweets themselves tend to be mostly memes and aren't helpful, but the group chat format definitely lends itself to bickering in a way that I find pretty similar to IRL mafia. I also played with a group of friends from a specific fandom, so we all sort of knew each other already, and we ended up playing so many games that we also got a pretty good feel for each others' patterns and such in different roles. I imagine that forum mafia will feel less like being in a sorority Facebook group, LOL
not sure if i follow. am i just dumbVote: MF the ISOable, on the basis of mentioning missing a night action.
