Gut feeling, but I'll back up Pentimento on Big Red Cherry Bomb and hope more people come in to make it a tie before the Day ends.
It was a little hasty, but there were only like 7 hours left (4 now). If somebody doesn't take action first, nobody takes action, that's why some games on the Mafia subforum take a week or more per day, and others don't lynch anybody ever regardless of suspiciousness. The Mafia is just as likely to win because of negligent innocents as actually having a good plan.

but yeah. I really think it's not in your best interests to lynch me, though I guess saying that makes me sound suspicious, but I can prove myself given time. I almost never post first-day, though, since i tend to shy away from the mostly random guesswork that shows up, so I only post if I have specific input, or something spectacular happens.
But anyway. I'm unsure if revenge-nominating Pentimento is the best way to go; from mt experience, it's the ones who go with the flow and gang up on others that get nominated who turn out to be mafia, at least if they're moderately experienced. So I'd look at people who tend to do that sort of thing, or abstain a lot; for example, in my mafia game, the two main mafia members abstained almost the entire game.
However, that said, I don't think random lynches are very good in the overall run of things. I also don't think that this was a Moony(r)/BRCB(r) kill, either. I don't know if this game has hints in the flavour text like mine did, though.

The flavor text gives some indication of how death occurred; at least distinctions between cult and non-cult killings should be pretty clear.
The first day of discussion doesn't go cordially. Pentimento is first to accuse and first to have its accusation turned back on it as trainers call its judgement hasty, rash--suspicious. After heated debate, there is still little agreement about what must be done, but enough trainers agree that Pentimento must die that the others aren't willing to step in as they surround it and start to drag it away.
By this point, Pentimento is all scorn. "Idiots," it sneers, "If you keep killing the people who take action, you're going to be sitting ducks while the cult manipulates you behind the scenes. Serves you right, too, for being so stupid!"
The remaining trainers turn their faces away and blanch as the execution is carried out. Hearts sink when Pentimento's magical costume fades away, revealing nothing more sinister than a normal trainer beneath.
Pentimento is dead. It was not a cultist.
