No, it will keep trying to use the move. Direct attacks may decrease the length of encore, but probably not by much (since it's only three actions anyway).If a Pokemon was encored into using a stat-raising move, but the stat is already at maximum, would it continue to try and raise its stat, or would the encore be broken?
Also, would a Pokemon see through the encore due to direct attacks, form the Pokemon that used encore?
If you mean "does the effectiveness of encore drop with repeated usage," yes. Otherwise I don't know what you're asking.And dies encore's effectiveness wear off after usage?
