A white belt with a gold-colored buckle adorns her waist, with a single satchel hanging off the left side, just behind her. She wears black pants and simple shoes, and a pair of belted leather gloves.
Her weapon of choice is a Kusari-Gama, a chain with a sickle on one end, and small metal ball on the other. The chain is nearly ten feet in length, and aside from that, she also keeps a separate sickle with no chain, should the chain be too difficult for a certain situation. She keeps the two sickles on her right side, with the chain going behind her to coil in front of the satchel on her left.
PERSONALITY: She’s very kind and sweet, yet anything but innocent. She always tries to be nice, or at least mildly positive. She maintains that everybody is like her somewhere in their being, but it’s just harder to find that attitude within some people. Despite her generous nature on a daily basis, or perhaps because of it, she is absolutely vicious in battle. PO the rest, if there's much else.
BIO: Ami’s family was of Noble blood from the Fire Nation. Her father was a close advisor of City Council’s representative of the Fire Nation, and so they always had plenty of luxury.
She had an older brother, and two sisters, one older (the eldest of them all) and one younger. Only her brother and little sister could Firebend, so they learned from their mother. However, still wanting to be able to help themselves, she and her older sister began learning martial arts. Her sister got into Chi Blocking, but Ami found herself intrigued with the Kusari-Gama. She’s had seven years of practice with it, now.

APPEARANCE: Togei is older than he looks; at a glance he appears to be seventeen or so years old. His proportions and face are boyish, his body thin and without lots of muscle. He's probably not more than a hundred and fifty pounds with a full stomach. Togei is markedly paler than a lot of people, even when compared to his fellows of Fire Nation descent. This is exacerbated by both his jet-black hair and the unusually dark freckles on his cheeks and nose. These freckles may appear black in the right light, and are also present, but less noticeable, on most of the rest of his body. His hair is medium-length and neatly cut, but generally quite untidy. This goes for his clothes as well; Togei takes care of his belongings, but prefers to sew and patch and fix them up rather than get new ones. His eyes are matte black and generally rimmed with mild dark rings.
What may strike one as odd after a while is that Togei tends to keep his left arm stiff; this is because he doesn't have too much of a choice. Underneath his perpetually long-sleeved shirts, his left arm stops existing right after the elbow. He's got a prosthetic attached, but it's little more than a glorified coppery carving of a hand. The prosthetic is an unclenched, loose hand connected to half a forearm, covered with swirling, fiery lines that are beautiful to look at. It's rather heavy for its size and made of both wood and a golden metal; It's not platinum, but it is similarly pure in its consistency and is thus unbendable.
PERSONALITY: Togei is optimistic. Cheerful isn't quite the right word for it, but it's difficult to get him to feel hopeless or 'lost'. He tends to ignore questions about his arm, though, brushing them off with a meaningless reply or without one at all. This can be bypassed if you're his friend, which will tend to make him quite open with you overall. Togei loves to learn and will attempt to learn pretty much anything from you that you seem to be good at that he isn't. However, he rather dislikes special help when he tries to do something; while he knows that it's a little ridiculous, it irritates him when people try to help him deal with his lack of a left hand. He's also quite outgoing and asks a lot of questions, especially of people he doesn't know very well (yet). He also has a deep sense of justice and fairness, perhaps to a fault in some situations.

Togei, an only child, felt loved (although he did not escape his childhood without vague father issues). He studied at a school in the city and eventually became a librarian, distancing himself from his family due to an urge to be independent for once.
OTHER: He's had non-bending martial arts training, but his style's a bit odd because he's had to adapt to having one working hand. Also, he's mildly addicted to candy.

She sees no point in hiding who she is, both her present and her past - unless there is a need for stealth and masking her identity. Thus, her clothes are rather traditional, even in casual wear - a dark red jacket fastened at the shoulder, with black wide pants allowing her to move freely. Her outfit when working for the movement is more combat ready, as trouble has a penchant for occurring whenever a rally takes place, and thus dons some light armour, mostly covering her shoulders and chest. She also wears arm guards, worked with golden flames, and a cape fastened to her armour on extra special occasions - which, though it looks nice, she has to get rid of with ridiculous frequency. The cape has a short lifespan. If it doesn't trip her up or slow her down in a fight, then she simply burns it or rips it.
Other: The cape tangent is pointless, as given the nature of the RP it will be ripped probably within the first page. But I can still dream....

She ties her hair back in something approximating a lazy wolftail, usually with several strands of hair out of place, depending on the time of day and how much fighting she's been doing. She carries a few waterskins on her belt and a couple more empty waterskins in her pocket.

She wears her dark brown hair in a long braid that reaches down to her waist, and always keeps a sack of sand slung over her back in case of an emergency. (Or in case she just wants to/needs to bend.) When necessary, she brings a linked spear connected with metal chains with her to fight; however, she figures her sand is both burden and protection enough in most instances and only brings it in important circumstances.

BIO: Chigusa grew up in a small, closeknit Earthbending community. In her community, most Benders didn't actually learn any bending until they were at least 14. However, when her time to actually learn bending rolled around, the little village she called home was plagued by floods, which left her bending mud. (HaHa, that rhymed!) Because of this, Chigusa carries around a blue boomerang with a sharp edge.

She has a tattoo of the Fire Nation emblem in black and red on her left shoulder.
She wears traditional Fire Nation colors; deep red, dark yellows and black. She wears black leather armored boots, heavy black pants, and a deep red shirt with yellow trim, that has no sleeves. She has heavy black and red leather armored vambraces.
PERSONALITY: Very much set in the old ways and traditions, but Rai finds everything in this 'new world' amazing and utterly interesting. Not overly energentic, nor very shy either. When she sees something that needs to be done she does it, sometimes without even realizing it. She gets a thrill when firebending, it's a sort of release for her, though she doesn't really do it because she gets embarrassed when people judge her for her blue firebending. (Probably because of this thing with an old Fire Nation princess that was known for it.)
BIO: Her family has a dark past, and Rai is running from it. When Avatar Aang fought against the Fire Nation Rai's family was one of the few who willingly fought for the Fire Lord, true nationalists.
She was born in a mansion just outside the Fire Nation Capital. Her mother died when she was a baby and she was raised by her father. From a young age she showed talent as a fire bender, and her father was overjoyed. He trained her day and night. He taught her the old ways, and was very harsh on her. He believed that the Fire Nation should wage war again, and finish what Sozin began.
Thing is she didn't agree. And a few months ago she told him so. He went into a rage, almost burning down their home. Rai fled, and made her way to Republic City. Her father's men followed her for a time, but she now believes she is safe.

Finally done!
NAME: Haruko (Hah-rue-ko)
AGE: 17p
GENDER: Male.
ELEMENT: None.
APPEARANCE: Haruko has very short black hair, cut back in a military fashion. He is a bit on the small side for his age, well-built, despite a naturally scrawny body type. His eyes are hazel in colour, and above and around his right eye are some burn marks. These are prevalent all over his body, including his right shoulder, his back, and both legs. His teeth are a little crooked, not too noticeably so, although he is missing quite a few. He wears the traditional fire nation garb, with his bow on his back, his butterfly sword by his belt, and his quiver over his shoulder.
PERSONALITY: Constant pressure to live up to his fire-bending brothers, and his father's expecting him to be able to hold his own against them, have caused Haruko to have a very hard, diligent demeanour. Having been hard-working and raised in an almost militaristic home, Haruko has little interest in art or anything too aesthetic. He has a lot of so-called "bender envy", and is extremely hateful towards Kanzan and his plans. His life-long militaristic lifestyle has left him with a strong sense of moral justice, a rash temper, and, due to his father exerting strict control over the amount of food he was to eat, a total love of piggery.
BIO: Haruko's unfortunately late grandfather raised his Haruko's father, Senzai, to be sharp and militaristic. The man had grown up idolizing the Fire Nation and the military, and wanted to train his six sons to be powerful military men for any Fire Nation rebellions that might take place. A very rigid lifestyle was imposed on his five older sons, and many hours a day was devoted to their training. Although these Fire Nationalist ideals died long before Haruko was born, Senzai felt no need to give up the training, deeming it "character-building" and "healthy".
Haruko lived all his life in a sizeable estate near the outskirts of Republic City. His mother passed away when he was very young, dying from a lifelong disease.
Upon realizing that his sixth and youngest son, Haruko, could not firebend, Senzai was extremely hard on him, expecting him to his own against his firebending brothers in the daily training sessions. Haruko was also given much more training without his brothers, where his father tried to train him with lances, swords, knives and halberds. Haruko never really took to any of these very well, although he had a natural affinity towards archery. His father then focused on that, training him rigidly until Haruko had become quite the young archer indeed. He also trained with an ancient Fire Nation butterfly sword, becoming reasonably okay with it, although he mainly uses it just as a handy sharp edge to carry around. Needless to say, all the hours given to unarmed sparring with his brothers have left him quite talented at close-quarters unarmed combat as well.
Senzai died of food poisoning when Haruko was fifteen, although at that stage the oldest brother simply took over the household and life continued on as normal, except Haruko was given considerably more freedom. Although the same rate of training continued (no reason to break the habit) Haruko began to socialize a bit more, and enjoyed reading some historical sagas.
OTHER: Just as a clarification, his main weapon in this venture will be the bow and arrow.

NAME: Haruko (Hah-rue-ko)

APPEARANCE: Haruko has very short black hair, cut back in a military fashion. He is a bit on the small side for his age, well-built, despite a naturally scrawny body type. His eyes are hazel in colour, and above and around his right eye are some burn marks. These are prevalent all over his body, including his right shoulder, his back, and both legs. His teeth are a little crooked, not too noticeably so, although he is missing quite a few. He wears the traditional fire nation garb, with his bow on his back, his butterfly sword by his belt, and his quiver over his shoulder.
PERSONALITY: Constant pressure to live up to his fire-bending brothers, and his father's expecting him to be able to hold his own against them, have caused Haruko to have a very hard, diligent demeanour. Having been hard-working and raised in an almost militaristic home, Haruko has little interest in art or anything too aesthetic. He has a lot of so-called "bender envy", and is extremely hateful towards Kanzan and his plans. His life-long militaristic lifestyle has left him with a strong sense of moral justice, a rash temper, and, due to his father exerting strict control over the amount of food he was to eat, a total love of piggery.
