Liza could hear Serenity mumbling when sje heard the protests. 'Ok, fine I'll do something.' Liza thought to her and she stopped. "Does it really matter if he has a plan or not. We all know what its like to be here, trapped with nothing else to do, but be here forever." she could feel her ears ringing still as she paused. "Well, I don't feel like staying here forever, I would rather enjoy having the hope of getting out of here one day, rather then believing all is lost to me. I would enjoy getting out of here, and seeing what the world really is, not this fake world. Aa real world." she said feeling better after her speech. 'Well, you sure stunned me with that...' she heard Serenity say.

Listening to the protests around him, Leon consulted Blade for help.

"Do you think we should trust him, Blade?"

<I don't know. He's the only one so far with a plan. But, he just called us over here out of the blue, and he's proclaimed himself leader. I would prefer to wait before doing anything.>

"I'm fine with that. Maybe we should see how this plays out."

Leon then walked over to join Liza.

Aureus sprinted towards Roddy and firmly gripped his hands to his shoulders.

Staring him in the eyes, he yelled, "You know what? My parents coded Naptime. They told me to come up with six Johto locations, six puzzles, and six bosses. They made that map.

They told me it was for a fun video game I'd play when I get older! They promised me that I would be one of the first to play it.

They promised me that it wasn't to be for the Shelter
.

But guess what? My parents were freakin' traitors. They purposely 'abandoned' me when I was nine.

They were the ones who gave me my Ninetales. They ran the freaking Shelter.

Do you," he poked Roddy's chest, "believe me now?"

"They ran the freaking Shelter."

Elijah's eye's flew open as he heard these words. He had been listening to the debate for a while now, bored and half-asleep, but this...this was unexpected. He stood to his feet, looking towards the person who had shouted it. A ninetails morph. Hmph.

Careful, Elijah, you don't-

Be quiet, Tempest. I know what I'm doing.

Anger sizzled within Elijah as he strode over to where the ninetails boy stood in front of another person. He grabbed the boy roughly by the shoulders and spun him around to face him, getting right in his face, choking out through clenched teeth, "Your parent's did this to us!?"

'Huh, if they start fighting, we had better move out the way.' Serenity said worridly. Liza was comforted by the fact that Leon had walked over to her, and before she could say 'hi' to him, they started yelling. She could feel the tension between the two like electricity. She looked at Leon worridly, as if they would fight at any second.

<Leon, I think you should do something.>

"I'm perfectly fine with them tearing each other to pieces. his parents ran the shelter, they put me through four years of torture. He deserves to die."

<Leon, you know that's the wrong way to think. It's not his fault his parents did that to him. He doesn't deserve to die any more than we do.>

"But I...."

<Just go over there and break them up. I don't think we want anyone to get hurt while we're here.>

Leon sighed. "You're right."

He ran over to the two and said, "Guys, guys, stop! We can't solve anything by fighting. It's not Aureus's fault that his parents put him in Naptime, nor is it his fault that his parents started the Shelter." Leon gestured to Elijah. "You may hate what his parents did to you, but that's no reason to hate him."

Aureus faced Elijah.

"They created the freaking Shelter. I saw my dad putting me in the tube.

It's not my freakin' fault; once we get out, go ahead and kill them." He raised his hands in the air.

"As if I care about them."

Jack blinked quickly. Things were starting to heat up, but this also forced Jack to think about something.

Why did everyone want to get out of Naptime?

To Jack, it was the perfect place. A place with no fears or worries, where you never had to work, and you could chill out all day. Why leave a place like this?

What about your brothers, Jack? Nikin thought to him, causing him to almost choke. His brothers? How had he managed to forget about them?! Jack groaned. But what if they were gone... He hadn't seen them since he was nine, and they were travelling to the Hoenn region... And they had to be in this Naptime for a reason.

Jack turned to the others. "Why are we in such a rush? This place ain't so bad. I mean, when's the last time we've witnessed pain? That doesn't happen much in here.." Jack really began to regret not keeping his thoughts to himself.

When he heard that this "Aureus" fellow was the child of the ones that had created the system, unfiltered rage flew through Reginald's mind.

He... he is related to those that sealed you here. Imprisoned you. Left you for dead.

Kill him, and you can take revenge on them. Their own flesh and blood, gone, gone...

"Reggie, I know what you're thinking of doing," Gary whispered, "and I can tell you that if you did such an act, the both of us would be killed. Taking revenge isn't worth such a price."

However, if this Aureus fellow causes in any way some sort of decent reason for such a deed, you have my permission to do as you will.

"Thank you," Reginald muttered, disheartened. He then approached Aureus.

"If what you say is true, then I can assure you that your parents will die when, no, if we escape. I do not take being locked away in this prison like some sort of animal for twelve years very lightly, after all."

Ayden, who hadn't spoken for a decent while, let out an audible growl once he heard Aureus' revelation. Once he saw the others' reaction, he calmed himself slowly. Steadily and hesitantly, he walked over and stood next to Aureus solemnly. He heard Jack ask why they had to leave, and immediately he turned to him, disgusted.

"Because whether you realize it or not, this place is a prison. No matter how close to the real world it is, it never will be a true reality. I don't know about you, but most of us have...or at least, had a life outside of this supposedly peaceful place. The ones who put us in here should be put in their own prison. This place...it doesn't have substance. No...excitement. It's almost nothing like the reality we used to live in."

Ayden took a deep breath, then sighed, showing that he had calmed down.

"I apologize for flipping on you like that, but I needed to get my point across."

Quickly he turned to Aureus, clearing his throat as he spoke.

"Aur, what exactly is your plan anyways? You can't expect us to just follow you because you say so, even if you are the child of the ones who put us here. Why is the Bell Tower so important?"

Aureus took a deep breath.

"Listen. There's this thing called the Key. It's split up in six parts, each hidden in a location that I picked unintentionally. If we complete it and go to the Sinjoh Ruins, then Naptime'll be destroyed and we'll go back to the real world.

And one of the pieces is in the Bell Tower," he said too quickly to understand.

"So are we goin' now or what?" he said in a normal voice.

<Aureus, you shouldn't have told them that...> his Ninetales said.
<But they wouldn't have trusted me, Nexiet...> he responded.
<Fair enough...>

'You had might as well, its better then doing nothing.' Serenity said to her. Liza looked at Leon, who had broken up the two fighting. 'Yes, yes. I know what you're thinking, you're just worried if Leon would come. Why don't you ask him for a change?'

'Ok, fine I will!' she thought to Serenity. She walked over to Leon and said, "Are you going to go to Bell Tower?"

'There you go, stand for yourself.' she said snickering.

Jack smiled at Ayden's comment. "Eh... It really doesn't matter where I sleep.. So... I guess I'll go along, besides, the plants don't have great conversations here." Jack swung his hands behind his head and walked over to Aureus. "There is one problem with this though, Why the heck did you make these places so far away?" Now Jack was just joking around, like normal. At least he was until he heard a small voice.

Danger...Flee, Ho-oh... Jack's ear picked this up, and he knew it came from a plant, due to it's faint and delicate voice.

"Uhh...By the way, were there pokemon put in charge of guarding these pieces, say... A Ho-oh, or something like that?"

Out of the blue, Liza walked over to Leon and asked him if he was planning to go to the Bell Tower.

"Um, yes that's where I was planning to go. I don't trust this Aureus person, but he's our only lead so far. Are you planning to go?"

Liza smiled and said, "Yes, I was planning on going to the Bell Tower."

'Hehe! Told you it would work!' Serenity said in her head snickering. Liza ignored her. "Well, it seems he is the only one with any knowlage about how to get out of here. If this turnd out to be false truth, then..." she couldn't think of anything other then the words 'we'll be stuck here forever' and she didn't want to say them.

Behind his goggles Roddy's eyes widened for a moment as the Ninetails rushed forwards suddenly, grabbing him firmly on the shoulders and prodding him in the chest, causing them to narrow into tiny slits hidden behind the mirrored lenses. Judging from the anger in his voice, it was most likely that he was telling the truth about being the offspring of the monsters who had created this psychic prison. And that knowledge alone shed light upon what kind of thoughts must have driven him to issue the call to all available guardians.

"I see."

Roddy replied calmly. His objections suspiciously silent after his previous tirade of insulting slurs about Aureus' reliability. Listening to the other's mixed, but majorly hostile reactions to this news, he allowed himself to be quiet, the knowing smile on his face the only indication of what he might be thinking. Waiting for a suitable lull in the conversation, he slipped back in just as easily as he had left, using his power to smooth over the transition.

"So, Mr Walk-Through. Since you seem to be our Strategy Guide metaphorically speaking, I'd guess we'd better do as you say. Ho-oh or not."

Shrugging, suddenly seeming reasonable, no longer in an argumentative mood at all, the Chatot held his arms out wide and walked forwards. His palms outstretched in a curious expression of nonchalance, twirling the microphone around in his hand like a performer with a cane before returning it to his pocket. Making his way towards the Bell Tower at a steady pace. His footsteps pounded to a rhythm of one-two three... one-two-three... almost as though he was dancing to a song inside his head.

Arriving at the gate which served as the entrance to the autumn path that lead to the famous golden tower, Roddy turned his head around to glance over his shoulders, still grinning like a Golbat as he stared in Aureus' direction with an expression of conceit.

Karae didn't really understand why everyone seemed so angry when Aureus revealed the truth. The Shelter had cared for her more than her own parents had, after all, and they had given her Dragonair -

And then they killed me to force my soul into your tainted mind. Your parents should have left you to die.

And though she didn't really like them for keeping her here, in a world with a fake sky, and nice weather patterns that were too perfect, she didn't really want to kill them. That didn't mean she wouldn't help, if someone asked her to - maybe there were too many people running the Shelter now for such a small group to kill all of them at once. "Twelve years is a long time," she said thoughtfully. "I don't remember how long I was stuck in here for, and I never went into the Bell Tower, but... I'll go along. I like to be in high places." If they met Ho-oh... she didn't need to think about that, just yet. The boy with the microphone had already started walking, so she fell into step behind him, tilting her head to one side. If only she could have flown, and simply gone up the tower that way... it seemed so much more straightforward.

She could use the wind, but it was so hard to make it do what she wanted. Sometimes, she felt Dragonair fighting it, as if trying to wrench it away from her, and those were the times when she found it difficult to do more than make a small breeze. Her Pokemon's betrayal always hurt - weren't they friends, partners? A team, always together?

No. You are alone. You will always be alone, her partner whispered coldly, and the curtain of ice fell and Karae felt silence once again.

"The real world, huh?" Amaterasu said, "That world is probably in ruins now."

She closed her eyes and opened them just as quickly.

"I will go though." she said, "Hanging out near Blackthorn was getting boring. Plus, the Bell Tower used to be one of my favorite places in the real world."

She smiled.

"Phoenix and me used t-." she sighed contently.

She....I left her....our family...just because I couldn't handle it....

Her eyes started to water.

Elijah sighed and turned away. They were right, you can't choose your parents. He would save his anger for the ones responsible. In the mean time...this ninetails morph could help him get out of here.

"Fine. I don't know about the rest of you, but my reason for getting out of here? Making the ones who trapped us here against our wills' pay."

Jack smiled. To him, it seemed everyone was in on this, meaning he'd have to do much less work.

"Well, what are waiting for?" He called to the group. "We're not getting any younger!" That statement was different to his attitude, it kind of disturbed him. Could this world make them any more different?

Relax Jack! Focus on what's at hand, and eat more fruit! Nikin said to him. With a smile, he pulled out another apple and started crunching into it as he walked towards the tower.
