Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

BRACES.

Probably shouldn't be here.

Yeah. Got them this morning and they don't look too bad.

Although everytime I eat something gets stuck between the wires.

THere's metal in your mouth. :D I like braces; wish I had 'em. Congrats. :3
Oh yesssss.

Though there's the slight pain of not being able to chew gum for 2 years. That and bite sweets which I always do out of habit.

Surprising that you put this in the Laughing Cupboard. When I got braces, I put it in the Coughing Cupboard. I've gotten used to them though.

They kinda hurt a bit now but I like the way they look. Plus I kinda like the way they tighten.

At first I was a bit scared of how they're gonna put it, that's probably why I was happy that it's over with.

Braces themselves aren't the biggest part of the problem. It's the stuff you get with them later on that's really painful. When I had a permanent retainer put in my mouth I was in constant pain and couldn't eat anything but soup for a week, and I couldn't even talk properly for another week afterwards.

Well I can talk properly and I can eat normally save for the crystal candy and gum and I had them on this morning.

Though mine was only the upper part; the lower part's gonna be on October 28.

:D The day before my birthday!

...Erm, anyways, congrats, I guess *Always heard that braces suck, and is glad to not need them*

D: That's like the day before Halloween. Wait, do you have Halloween in Wales?

Anyway, I really hope it doesn't hurt.

I enjoi mai braces! Trust me, they dun hurt as much as ppl say and there's ways around the no gum and candy rule. :D

I was told you can chew no stick gum- that is, gum like Trident which are supposedly okay for braces. At least, I think Trident is okay. I'll have to check later.
