Open Camp Halfblood: a Perseus Jackson roleplay

Vai snorted. Well, that worked, then. She concentrated on Stormshade, bringing it to a pencil form, then a necklace, then a pair of daggers in sheathes.
"Well," she turned to Shay. "That was ridiculously simple."

"Yep. Almost too simple. Who else do you think we should ask? Maybe the Demeter? cabin?" Gah, it's hard to think of who would make good allies when you don't really pay attention to the other cabins.

Alphonse looked at Suzume while pondering her proposal.

"Sure, come aboard. But don't expect to skip work," he said, an evil grin on his face. "In fact, by teaming up with me, you just assured a lot of training before Friday comes." He then got up and started walking out of the building.

Now, maybe someone of Hermes' cabin. They'd make a good job stealing that flag...

Suzume was shocked. She had just guaranteed an alliance, but she had a lot of training to do! She groaned. Well, maybe not that much. She could trip a few people with her weapon. She'd just have to work on her aim. And maybe she wouldn't have to break a few nails by that training?
Still a little disappointed that it hadn't gone too well, Suzume headed to the training ground.

Allainces were going on so much, Reitsu had confused who was on her team. "Eh, we're the....Blue team, right?"

She drew a map and labeled the best attacking spots alone in her cabin, and planned out the strategy.

"Well.." Vai thought a second, flicking through Stormshade's forms. "We should see if any cabins come to us. The night before, we'll just team up with.. Demeter if nobody asks." She breathed hard now. Maybe changing Stormshade as fast as she could wasn't the best idea...

Reitsu just lied on her bed. Pretty soon, people would be swarming in asking for allainces...
She sighed. If anyone came in, she'd leave it to the others. The game's 3 days away, no need to fuss. She just wanted to be left alone.
A gust of wind blew and her plans swarmed out the window. Reitsu bolted out of bed and started chasing the quickening paper.
Oh no.she thought. If the Red team catches this...I would ruin it for everyone. Reitsu quickened her pace, and ran deep into the woods. She desprately wished someone could help her catch it....
Reitsu gave in, and the plans flew away silently. In defeat, she racked her mind for a new plan.

Acacia went outside. Everyone was talking about the capture the flag that was going to happen in a few days. So far, nobody seemed that interested in teaming up with the Demeter cabin. Good. She hated having to compete in games like that. It wasn't that she wasn't competitive per se, she was, but really hated losing. Which was all the time. So it was pointless, and always ended up making her stressed out. Argh.
She wandered around for a while, ending up in the woods as usual. It was nice and quiet there, and the trees seemed.. friendly, somehow. Acacia climbed up a tree like a squirrel and sat on one of the branches, hands in the pocket of her hoodie. A crumpled piece of paper was caught in some of the leaves. Scowling, she pulled it out and stuffed it in her pocket. Stupid litterers..

"That sounds like a good plan," Shay replied. "Well, I'm going to go... uh, practice swordfighting. I'll catch you later." I'll get a few kicks in first, though. Shay thought with a grin. She sprayed some weedkiller on a few flowers and threw them through the Demeter cabin window while no-one was looking. Heh, it's nothing they won't be able to clean up. Then, Say headed for the practice area. I hope there'll be someone to fight there. Surely someone else is practicing, with capture-the-flag game so soon and all. She walked over to the practice area, only half-noticeable in the daylight with her signature black sweats and t-shirt.

"Bye-" Vai raised her hand to wave as Shay trotted off. So everyone ditched her, then. Ah, well. We could always go bother the Aphrodite cabin... or stare at the empty Poseidon, Zeus and Hades cabins. Or eat stuff. As Vai walked by the Demeter cabin, so noticed the smell of weedkiller. ...Shay.
((Where'd you get the weedkiller? =D))

Alphonse cut another dummy in half, and watched it burn. He loved to do it. It wasn't the same as blood spraying all over the place, but was a decent replacement.

Once again, he looked around to find an opponent. was hard to believe only few people were training, just a few days from the event, and even the Ares cabin was heavily missing! And anyway, the other people were all in pairs, so no one was available to fight. Facing the hard reality, he sighed.

Suzume walked to the training ground, and saw only Alphonse there. She gave him a glare as she took her her weapon, which she had named "Stingstring". Bending her arm over her head, Suzumewhipped her arm forward like someone casting a fishing rod. With a metallic hiss, the baubleat the end shot forward, and Suzume twisted her wrist. Her bauble turned in mid-air, wrapping aroundone of the dummy's 'feet'. Then Suzume tugged as hard as she could, but the dummy didn't budge.
Fine then. Suzume thought, Take this!
Suzume touched a button located at the top of the handle. A small sizzle could be heard as the electric current moved down the metal thread that attached the bauble and handle. Seconds later, the dummy shook with electricity runnign through it's threads, then drooped. Suzume tugged again and the dummy fell to the ground.

It was so quiet here, but Acacia decided to go back to the cabin and.. do something. She didn't know. Maybe Flora would be there. Or something. Hopping lightly down from the tree, she trotted back to the Demeter cabin. Off to the side, where Acacia had been planting the flowers that kept growing inside. Some of them were gone, apparently ripped up.
What the heck? Was it a deer or.. what's that smell?
Weedkiller. WEEDKILLER! What was going on? Confused, she went inside, almost stepping on several now-shriveled flowers. Her flowers! Acacia scooped up the small plants and took them outside, replanting them in the garden. They looked pitiful, and still smelled terrible with weed killer. Hm. She focused on the little plants, murmuring something softly under her breath. After a few minutes, they looked a little better. At least, not dead.
So. Who did that? To begin with, the only people that would have something like weed killer would have stolen it from somewhere outside the camp. Meaning.. someone in the Hermes cabin. Acacia grabbed a handful of dirt and small rocks and went off to the other cabin, whistling. Okay, so this wasn't exactly revenge-worthy, but she was bored. Flinging the rocks and dirt at the window as hard as she could, she screamed, "For Demeter!!" and fled to her cabin, giggling at the sound of glass breaking.
Ooh, I could try to make poison ivy grow inside their cabin.. heh, I'm such a jerk.
((Yeah.. she's a bit.. er, protective of plants. xD))

((Nah, you can. It's just Acacia goes a bit.. off the deep end when you mess with her friends. Which happens to include all plants, specifically her garden. xD))

((Okay, but don't hurl rocks and dirt at me.))

Walking around, Reitsu passed all the cabins, including the Hermes cabin with a big raggedy hole in the window. There was absolutely nothing to do, and Reitsu felt utterly bored.....and whipped out her DS.

Vai watched as Acacia broke the window on the Hermes cabin, and hissed under her breath. She raced inside, making sure her few possessions were okay.. and nothing was missing.

Well, it wasn't just a bloody rivalry like usual on Friday. This was bloody war. Speaking of war, maybe the Ares cabin might make good allies... but Vai hadn't seen them around for a bit. Shifting Stormshade into a pole arm, she casually walked out of her cabin whistling. In her mind, Vai was thinking of many ways to get at the Demeter cabin...

And she'd have to get some of that weedkiller from Shay.

((I thought the Demeter cabin might have some weedkiller to actually kill weeds.))

Shay spotted Alphonse and Suzme. "Mind if I train with you guys?" Shay asked.

Alphonse saw Shay entering the training grounds. Good, Hermes cabin. Let's see if she is good to be the third member.

"Sure, you can face me. Enlet's been missing a real fight, and so have I." Saying this, he withdrew Enlet from its sheath and raised it in a battle stance, ready to attack or defend.

((For those who didn't notice, 'Enlet' is the name of the sword.))
