• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Open Chasers of Emotion (the second)

Oh great I fell asleep

Tim hauled himself into a sitting position, and straightened the glasses on his face. He looked around the group of people and pokémon who were gathered on his left. He pulled himself upright and stood behind the group.

Well, I suppose I better integrate myself

"Hello, folks, I'm Tim."

((Yaaaaaaaaaaay 50 :D~))

Grok heard some faint, indistuingishable muttering, and a howl, as if though from some kind of dog. He started and opened his sightless eyes, extending his senses for a few feet around him in every direction. Creatures, other organisms, were surrounding him. He tried to make out their talk, but was too tired. He slipped back into his deep slumber.

Amy heard much clearer voices, and could tell they were exchanging greetings and telling their names. She rubbed her eyes and looked around coolly. Most human, two Pokemon. Not too uncommon, except for that one was a Suicune.
She became interested. Suicune, the purifier of water, spirit of the North Wind, from the old tales she had heard as a child... And a protecter of Water types.
She got up and dusted herself off, hoping she hadn't been drooling or snoring or anything.

Ame, back in human form, looked at the newly awakened one. There were only two more left to wake up, both males. Not like it mattered to her. She looked over at the Luxray, who was staring straight ahead. Then she heard someone named Tim introduced himself, and replied, "My name is Ame. This is Solar. He's stuck in Luxray form..." She couldn't help but feel sorry for... her friend.

Solar intently studied the horizon, but there was nothing. So, he sat down, patiently waiting for the others to gain consciousness.

"Stuck?" inquired Tim. This was something he was unaware of, and thought that if this was a human who could transform then it was something he needed to know about.

((Oh My! Sleep makes me miss everything D= Now I can't be that angry at you because almost everybody woke up already!))

"Kuuuuuuuun!"

Masquerade was startled awake. He turned to Ame and transformed enough to where he could use his psychic powers. "If you ever wake me up so suddenly again, I've got a Psychic right here with your name on it. It really does! See?" he pointed to the word "Ame" engraved onto the psychic.

"...I don't get it," Ame replied. She turned to Tim and was about to speak when Solar stepped in front of her and began to speak.

"I guess I transformed too suddenly," he lamented, which was something Ame didn't often see him do. Somehow, it made her sad too.

Solar continued, "My structure, and body in general, apparently couldn't handle the transformation so quickly, because it was unused to the strong emotion that had come over me at the moment. When I spoke of Luxray, I had no idea I would transform. When I finally calmed down and tried to turn back so quickly, my body couldn't handle it, and I'm stuck. Even when I'm calm, I can't be human."

"When you're fully Pokémon, your cellular structure is exactly like the Pokémon's, as if you've never been human," Ame explained. "Occasionally, someone's brain forgets the cellular structure of a human, so they can't turn back..." She lowered her head, and put up a hand to Masquerade. "Now please put down that psychic."

"Hmm...that's not so bad, at least not for me, although it is something that I will have to keep in mind. So, when everyone is up, what exactly are we doing?"

They were only waiting on one.

Ame replied, "I don't know. But first, we need to find a town or something. In human form, except Solar." She nodded towards him, saying that he should just go as a Pokémon, obviously.

Solar grunted and nodded slightly. "But... the scientists... what if they recognize us?"

Ame suddenly remembered something, but she couldn't put her finger on it. "I don't know. We'll just have to shift to Pokémon, if we use emotion, and attack, I guess."

Change to pokémon form...darn. Hopefully it won't come to that though. And I can fight as a human if needs must. Hang on...

"What scientists?" asked Tim, suddenly realising that this didn't match up to what he knew.

"You must have forgotten," Solar said. "But I remember. They tranquilized us and gave us amnesia with a special dart, and we ended up here. Somehow, we must have escaped from their grasp."

"I wonder if they did anything to us," said Ame. "Hopefully not."

Darn. Why would I forget, and forget more? Unless I got hit with more for some odd reason, I don't see why.

"Wait...if we were tranquillised, and we are recovering from it now, then why are we here and not in a laboratory or hospital?"

"How should I know?" Ame replied. "I'm not really aware of things while I'm asleep..."

She looked at the one still sleeping. "When's he gonna wake up?" She asked no one in particular. "When's" wasn't a word, but she liked using it anyway.

Solar looked towards the town. "Hopefully soon."

"Unless anyone else knows why were were dumped here, then I think we better move, and quickly, because those scientists will either know where we are or if they don't they will be looking for us. I'm also unsure of how wise it would be to go straight for the town, at least directly, since they will probably expect us to head there."

He walked over to the sleeping figure and kicked him.

"Wake up! We need to get a move on."

"I'd have to agree," said Yamikurou, checking his wrist even though he didn't wear a watch.

"Why'd you do that?" asked Kamikaze.

He shrugged. "Maybe I could befriend a Kricketot or something."

"If they dumped us here, either they didn't want us after all or they did something to us," Ame noted. "Hopefully the former."

She stepped towards the figure, transforming with impatience, and used Water Gun.

Solar almost flinched at the spray of water. He continued to survey the surroundings. "I'll warn you if anyone's coming."

He twitched his ears. "They're far off, but they sound like scientists."
