• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Open Chasers of Emotion (the second)

Ame groaned in her mind. This guy's tough with emotion...

"Just do it already, or I'll rip your arms off," she said, faking it but not showing it.

"Good point," she said to Tim. "Anyone who's not rare, turn Pokémon, if you like... but you'll need emotion. But I guess fear would be enough..."

She heard a scientist's command nearby. "Mightyena, hunt them down!"

Dang it, not Mightyena... Ame thought. "Let's go!"

"Okay, already!" Kamikaze grumbled, and repeated the word Shiftry in his mind over and over again. Soon he was that Pokemon, dancing slowly around and singing a low tune.

Yamikurou slapped his forehead. "Do you always have to do that?" With annoyance, he transformed into Absol, nudging his friend gently. "Come on already. We have to go." He was rather impatient at the moment.

Kamikaze said, "Can someone tell me to collapse a few trees here before I get stuck?" He let his impatience grow.

"Just speed us up," Ame repeated. "Collapse one tree if you really must, but Mightyena are rather agile and might just get over or around it. And I don't think you get stuck just like that."

Solar nodded. "Aria's right. Now let's hurry." The Luxray sped his steps up a bit, but stayed with the rest of the group. When he looked ahead, the town was nearby, but the scientists weren't far off either.

"We're going to have to split up," He said. "Yamikurou, Kamikaze, go with Ame. Everyone else, come with me."

He turned his head to Aria. "Got it?"

She nodded, beckoning to her group, and dashed down a street to the left. Solar kept going straight.

They both nodded. "Right."

Yamikurou became a human again to avoid getting stuck; he was no longer irritated.

Kamikaze spun around quickly and launched an attack at his allies that was a bit like Tailwind. Soon, he caught up to Yamikurou, and the two followed Ame nimbly. Aroused with emotion, Kamikaze jumped through the trees and landed gently on the ground as they raced behind their teammate.

"Allright. If I have to be human, I get to choose who to ride on, if we are riding, and I want to ride on Solar, if he lets me." ((Because I have a sudden love for Luxrays ))

((...
AAH! I DIDN'T DO IT!!
... What I'm trying to say is, I guess you could say the same for me, since...))

"...All right," Solar sighed, stopping for a moment.

Ame suddenly veered to the right, heading down an empty street, and then turned into an alley, waiting for Yamikurou and Kamikaze.

"Thanks. I hate my human form, and I hat not being able to transform, so thank you for letting me ride," he said, climbing on.

"Catch me up; there's no way I'm stopping with this guy," panted Tim, carrying on past them.

Of course it would have been nice if someone else would carry this lump, but never mind.

Yamikurou dashed up behind Ame. "Are we making good progress?" he asked, slightly worried.

Kamikaze raced down the street, speeding himself up with his own wind. "This is fun! You should try it!"

Yamikurou facepalmed. "I have no idea why he does that sometimes..."

"It's all right," Ame said, grinning and giggling a bit.

"Anyway, we need to catch up with Solar at the main square of this town. It might take a bit of looking around, though. I hope you guys don't mind being around crowds?"

Solar began to run a bit faster, to stay caught up with Tim. "We're going to meet Ame at the main square, but I don't know where that is. Come with me."

He veered off into an alley that was not Ame's, and began using X-Ray vision to look for the busiest part of the town.

Yamikurou nodded.

"Come back," he shouted to his friend. Kamikaze instantly calmed down and became human again.

"Now no one will want to catch us," he said, and followed Ame. Yamikurou strayed behind a bit, but was still near the group.

"Sorry," Solar said. "Perhaps he's going to wake up soon."

"Put him down for a moment," Solar said after thought, and waited for Tim to do so.

While he was waiting, Solar said, "The square is apparently somewhere to the east. I hope Ame doesn't have too much trouble finding us."

Meanwhile, Ame began to walk back out of the alley. She waited for Yamikurou and Kamikaze for a moment, then began to run towards the square.

Tim sank to his knees, slipped Grok onto the floor, and slumped down opposite, breathing heavily and massaging his shoulder

"That guy is heavy. Plus it's never easy to run with something over your shoulder. If you wanted, you could go and look, and I'll wait here with him."

"It's fine.Th-" He paused a moment before continuing. "Luxray's X-ray vision can pinpoint places within a certain radius, so I'm sure."

He gave a small jolt of electricity, targeting Grok. Hopefully that would work...

Ame didn't know exactly where the square was, but knew she would find it eventually.

Kamikaze quickly followed Ame. "Careful," he said. "Stay apathetic."

Yamikurou slapped him.

"What was that for?" he snapped, rubbing his head.

He shrugged. "I don't like apathetic."

"Quit it."

The two continued down the road.

Grok didn't really mind that someone was carrying him this whole distance. On the contrary, he was somewhat pleased that he didn't have to walk on his own two feet.
Atleast, he was glad until he was dropped.
If he had been a Fire Pokemon, he would've shot flames out of his nose. He didn't appreciate the impact with the floor.
It made him angry; he wanted to hit something.
His body changed into rocks. His eyes split into an H like pattern on his face.

Solar flinched, widening his eyes. "Wha... is he waking up, finally?" He took a step back, just in case. "If you're awake, turn back," he told Grok. "The humans will see us, and they'll try to catch you."

Ame hoped that Solar was all right. She had found the main path to the square, and was now running along the road, with Yamikurou and Kamikaze supposedly on her tail, though she didn't bother to look to see if they were really there.

Yamikurou dashed along the streets behind Kamikaze.

"Exactly what are we going to do when we get there?" the former asked.

"Be quiet," snapped the latter. "Someone might hear us talking and come after us."

He scoffed. "That'll never happen."

"Never say never. Don't be so sure." He turned his attention to Ame. "Will one of us be the scout to make sure the area is clear of suspiciously acting people?"

Tim saw Grok change.

Oh great, why now.

He pushed himself to his feet, scrambling sideways along the wall towards Solar.
