• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Open Chasers of Emotion (the second)

Ame turned to the rock person. "Do you agree?" She turned towards everyone else. "Do you all agree? We cannot do a thing until we all agree on something."

Solar nodded. "We would not want to contradict anyone's opinions, and we want to make sure everyone is comfortable with our decision."

Clearly Yamikurou and Kamikaze had no idea what they were supposed to agree on, but accepted anyway. If Ame said that they couldn't do a thing until they agreed... well, let's just say Kamikaze didn't want to put his hand to the wall at the moment, so he was confused by his own thoughts. Yamikurou was puzzled and started thinking about Bonsly.

((I need to do this. This is the most important RP to me, since I have so much to do with it!))

Ame said, "But before we do anything, we should probably find a place less crowded." She lowered her voice. "Others might find us, you know."

Solar nodded. "We should head to the south, where there's less activity if the town, if I saw right."

Ame agreed with a grunt, and began walking quickly in that direction.

It wasn't long before she reached a seemingly empty street, with the others behind her. ((I hope it's okay if I do that for everybody.)) "All right, NOW we do something."

Suddenly, she heard something behind her. It turned out to only be a few scientists, but they were different than the ones chasing them, and as long as they were careful, it would be all right.

But then there was something else. It came from the opposite direction. The thing was a group of teenage boys not much older than Ame.

"You're in our place," the tallest one said, glaring at Ame.

"You don't own this area in the city," Ame retorted.

Solar looked at the others. "Let her handle this on her own. She doesn't like it when others interfere."

"Did you want to fight to find that out?"

"Of course not," Ame replied. "Violence is not the answer."

One of the two others behind the tallest one sneered, "Looks like she's a wimp."

Before Ame could react, the one who had spoken punched her in her bad shoulder.

She let out a cry of pain, and let anger and sadness rise up in her. She was too distracted to think much, and it slipped off her tongue just too fast.

"Suicune could defeat you all!"

At once, she regretted that she had said that. In horror, she couldn't help herself as she became the legendary that she had spoken of. The scientists noticed immediately and glanced over in shock, pulling out some kind of guns. They were only tranquilizing ones, luckily.

The group of teens was scared away, but the problem was not over.

One of the scientists fired.

Ame watched in terror as the dart hit the Luxray next to her.

"Solar!" She cried, but then there was a pain in her flank, and she fainted also.

((Now we'll just say they've shot all of us, is that all right?))

((All right. Everyone can do a small part before the tranquilizing, then we'll go on. But still, try to keep it at least half a paragraph!))

Tim saw the scientists, and knew then needed to be careful. As long as nobody changed form, they might be able to get away with it.

"Suicune could defeat you all!"

Darn, he though, turning to see Ame transform. The kids she was involved with had run off, but now the scientists had pulled out weapons. Tim opened his mouth to shout a warning, but a dart slammed into his arm. Feeling everything start to fade, he tried to shout again.

"Ru-," he began, but a second dart crashed into his neck, and he slumped to the floor.

((Okay, see you there... or not.))
Valkrie flew above the buildings, and landed around the south end of town. She shifted back to human form, and looked around from the rooftop she landed on. Valkrie felt a small pain in her leg, like a mosquito bite. Looking down, she saw a tranquilizer dart.
"Crap," she stated. Scientists were pointing up at the roof, and some were running towards the building. Valkrie collapsed.

"Hmph. Mewtwo could destroy them all, yet I feel the need not to because, what if they escape?" he muttered, loud enough for Solar to hear. "Should I transform?" he asked what to do for the first time in his life.

((Solar has been taken.))

"All of them, to make sure," one scientist whispered to the other.

The second one nodded, and shot a dart at Masquerade. The first one did the same to the mysterious rock figure, and then Amy.

((I apologize if this is railroading. We'll all be free in a moment.))

((Oh, never bothered to read the rest of the posts))

Masquerade jumped over the dart. "Calm, stay calm, stay calm..." he urged himself, but the rage slowly bubbled up. "Stay calm, calm..."

Quickly, the second one shot another dart at Masquerade.

((Do you guys think we should skip ahead, or wait for shadow_lugia?))

((Aagh, I posted but the Internet went down AGAIN *flips off cable company a bajillion times*))

Grok paid no heed as the darts bounced harmlessly off his stony body. Occasionally, one was wedged in between two of his rocks, but he ripped it out easily. He wasn't meant to feel pain.
Then one pierced his bright orange 'eye.'
He... made an odd noise? in pain as clear, sticky liquid sprayed out from the wound, and swung his massive arm at the scientist who had struck him (he needed to get close up to get in that tiny place), knocking him out cold before he hit the ground, perhaps even killing him.
His simple mind was suddenly filled with rage, unlike his usual blank, inanimate state. He was on a rampage.
The scientists had made their greatest mistake.
Golems don't sleep.

Ame awoke in a weird room. It appeared to be a jail cell, and her paws were chained to the floor.

Aagh! Paws? She should have become human? Oh, great, was she stuck?

As she became a human again, she sighed with relief. It was good that she wasn't stuck, otherwise...

Then, her body began to change between Suicune and Human spontaneously, then back... how could she steady it? Would she rather be a human or Suicune for the rest of her life?

Suicune, she thought, slowly becoming the legendary again. She had just noticed that the chains had changed to stay at her wrist size, so transforming was out of the question. She checked the scent of the room... Good. Everyone but Grok. He had gotten away.

Wait, there was one thing missing.

Where was Solar's scent?

Meanwhile, Solar struggled in his own cage. It was electricity-proof, and made of some iron-like material, although he couldn't be sure. He had tried bashing the walls, but nothing helped.

"What are you doing to me?" He growled, shaking behind the bars. "Tell me!"

A scientist in the room turned around, away from his cohorts. "So, you talk?"

An Alakazam near him stepped forward, and telepathed something to its trainer.

"You're really a human..." the scientist mumbled. "This should be interesting. Is it one of those phenomena where-"

"Silence!" Solar roared, aiming a beam of electricity at the scientist. But the Alakazam warded the ThunderShock off with a simple blast of psychic energy.

Frustrated, Solar groaned, then sat down. For once in his life, he wanted to see Ame. "What will you do to my friends?" He hissed, changing the subject slightly.

"They won't be harmed, if you cooperate," the scientist replied coolly. But there was something bad in his tone.

"What do you mean?" Solar asked, annoyed.

"Oh, you'll just be a lab rat. Or cat, I should say."

"What are your experiments?!"

"You'll see in time," the scientist said, then turned away, chatting with his friends.

Solar heard a few things, but he didn't quite understand the word "catastrophical."

Masquerade awoke in a cage. "Oh no... has Giovanni figured out that I am Mewtwo?" he muttered to himself so noone else could hear. He quickly realised he was chained to the ground.

"Do you think winds can break us out?" asked Kamikaze groggily. "Or an iron blade?"

Yamikurou shrugged. "It's worth a try." He was more awake than his comrade. He would transform, but he didn't have the emotion. "THE PROBLEM IS I CAN'T!"

Kamikaze grunted. "At least you're not dead."

"Sure."
