Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Open Chasers of Emotion (the second)

((Yes. We are each in separate cells.))

Ame cried, "Where is Solar?" hoping for someone to answer. But it only echoed around the empty room and into the ears of the others.

Solar kept glaring at the scientist. There was no way he could damage either the human or the Pokemon....

((M'kay.))
Valkrie got to her feet, and found she was chained to the ground, still in Salamence form. She could hear voices, and she caught a bit of conversation.
"Another one, a Salamence," Valkrie heard. That was definitely her. So there were others? She shifted back to human, and waited for something to happen.

Amy, however, woke up as a human. She found her human wrists were also chained, and eight other chains lied about.
She used her fright and confusion to transform into a Starmie. Instantly, the eight other chains sprang to her eight new arms. She willed herself to transform back to human, and the extras clattered to the floor.
Transforming back again, she remembered two things; Starmie was capable of using Thunderbolt, and metal conducted electricity well.
She zapped the cage, but it resisted. Obviously they had thought ahead due to how Trainers typically taught Starmie Thunderbolt to use against opposing Water types.
She desperately began to search her thoughts for another attack.

Tim's subconscious mind shifted from blank to foggy. He was only aware of two things: His body being chained to something and a splitting headache. Then his sense of balance came back to him, and he realised he was up against a wall. He began to sort of here noises from around him. It seemed that very far away Ame was calling out, but he didn't know where, or to who.
His body, and his conscious mind, slept on, still resting under the impact of the tranquillizer.

"They... don't know how powerful Mewtwo is." Masquerade used his rage to transform. He tried to break free of the chains.

((Darksong, I don't want to godmod if they broke or not, or even if the scientists know that I'm a Mewtwo and made changed according to that, so can you say if the cains broke or not?))

((Me too))

"I'll try to free us," said Yamikurou. "Get over here." He pulled on his chains.

"I can't!" said Kamikaze desperately.

"Yes you can, you little--" The image of a ferocious Pokemon dashed through his head. Without knowing, he began transforming into Absol. "Come on, I can free us."

Kamikaze was silent. Yamikurou was completely Pokemon now and pulled on his chains and swung his head's sickle with all his rage to power him.

Valkrie heard a thrashing sound coming from the walls, maybe that was the 'others?'
"Hello," she yelled. "Who's there?"

((Long, exciting post warning))

The chains transformed also, fitting Masquerade. When he tried to break free, the chains shook and appeared brittle, but did not shatter.

For Yamikurou, the chains also changed and shook.

"We need something stronger," Ame said. "Something that makes them easy to shatter."

She answered to the voice before. "It's Ame! We're the Chasers of Emotion, but we seem to be missing a member!"

-----

Solar watched as one scientist left with his Alakazam.

The Luxray sighed. Where were the others?

------

As a scientist entered with an Alakazam, Ame growled, "Where did you put him?"

The human didn't reply. Ame was so full of emotion that she doubted she would ever become human again. She struggled against her chains and half-cried, half-growled, "Let me see Solar!"

It suddenly felt like a spear was digging into her head, and she flinched, lowering her head. It must have been the Alakazam...

With rage, she sent an Ice Beam at the Pokémon, but with Mirror Coat, it deflected it and sent it straight back at Ame, hitting her on the right shoulder. She gave a howl of pain and anger.

"Kuuuuun!" Quickly, she used Aurora Beam on the Alakazam, before it could react, then struggled against her chains. They weakened notably, but did not break. With fury, she used Ice Fang on one of the cuffs that held her. Surprisingly, it cracked, then fell to the ground, freeing her paw.

"You must know, face the fact, puny scientist! Emotion is more powerful than physical strength, but the three I'm using now are the strongest of all: Despair, anger..." she hesitated before saying the last one. "...and love."

-----

Solar twitched his ears, hearing something in the other room. Luckily, the walls were not soundproof. There was clattering, and then someone's voice.

...Ame?

He could hardly make out her voice, and slightly flinched. He stood up with realization, crackling with electricity. Now was his chance to escape! He used Charge, then Thunder Fang and Discharge at the same time on one of the bars. It glowed hot, and he removed his teeth, and suddenly melted. The Luxray leaped out of the gap, using Discharge again to knock out the two scientists. Then he burst through the door and stood in front of his allies, guarding them, his fur still crackling.

Ame almost gasped, and stood there, shaking slightly. Had Solar heard?

As if reading her mind, Solar glanced back at her. He growled to the scientist, "Release my friends, or else."

The scientist seemed slightly fazed, but did not react.

"That's it!" said Kamikaze. "Ame, use Ice Beam on the chains!"

Yamikurou struggled against his chains. "And hurry up with it. I'm on the shallow end of the emotion pool, and if I slip out, I'll be stuck."

"Drat..." Masquerade muttered as he transformed back to human before the scientists figured out who he was.

Amy settled upon a faint, faraway memory as a Staryu...
Smiling inside, she remembered how she had thought and felt in the memory...
And she was growing smaller, and smaller, and smaller...

Ame used Ice Fang quickly on her left front chain, then arched her back to use Ice Beam on her feet, breaking out, then the bars. She destroyed the cell bars with ease, and used Mist to freeze everyone's iron. "Now break out, while the human can't see!"

Solar, meanwhile, began to battle the scientist's Sceptile. He started with Crunch, but was hit by a Leaf Blade before Ame used Aurora Beam on the lizard. However, the Sceptile was strong, and merely shook the attack off.

Inside Tim's slightly more aware than being fully unconscious brain, the sounds around him seemed like thunder, or the crashes of cannons firing around him. Was it a dream? He wasn't sure, although it sounded nothing like real life, and the fog around him certainly wasn't anything he could have reasonably expected to encounter.
He wasn't aware he was thinking at all - seconds after a thought entered his mind, it was lost forever. But the thunderous roars continued, and he had no way to silence them. Resigned, Tim's mind decided that trying to regain conciousness was too hard, and he slumped back into the quiet dark.
At exactly that moment, the iron chains holding him up were frozen, and under his weight one of them snapped, sending his right arm drooping in front of him.
His mind snapped back to the thunder and fog, forgetting it's retreat into the dark.

Valkrie grinned when she heard the response. She shifted back to Salamence, with the adrenaline of the moment giving her enough emotion to change. She fired a Dragon Pulse at the chain holding her front right leg, and beat at it with her tail. It snapped, and she started to work on the next one.

"Thanks," said Yamikurou. He felt his fur start to fade. He was losing emotion. He had to get out while he had the chance. Swiftly, he whirled around, and his two sickles struck the chains and bars. Just as they shrank into his body, he jumped out as a human. "That was close."

Kamikaze decided to use "panic" as an emotion. "HELP!" he shouted, transforming into Shiftry, and whipping up strong winds that freed him. He exited and returned to his other form.

"We all need to team up on the Sceptile!" Ame called as the mist faded. "It's probably stronger than all of us combined, but we can do this!"

The Sceptile aimed a Slam at Yamikurou.

Yamikurou, startled, dodged quickly and slashed with his new sickle. Kamikaze stood back and watched. "Sorry," he said. "I have to get warmed up to the heat of battle."

Yamikurou groaned and pounced at his friend.

Kamikaze cried out. "Enough," he said, and charged at the Grass-type with hurricane winds.

((YAY HURRICANES! :DDDDDD ))

Valkrie freed herself from the chains, and stepped away smugly. A scientist came into the room, holding a Pokeball.
"Hey, get back over there," he yelled, and sent out a Glalie.
"Crap," Valkrie hissed, and fired a Dragon Pulse.

Tim finally came round. The first thing he noticed was that everything was very loud.

The second thing he noticed was that he was hanging from one arm.

He grunted and pulled it down, braking the iron holding his wrist, but also sending him into the ground. He stood up, looking around at his surroundings for the first time, and noted that he was apparently in a building.

Suddenly the events of yester- whenever it was they were captured flooded back to him. He also noticed a headache, and that the others were fighting a Sceptile.
Right. Let's see if we can't confuse this thing a little.
He crept closer, looking for his opportunity.
