• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Open Chasers of Emotion (the second)

Valkrie would have facepalmed if she could, and shot a Flamethrower at the Glalie. It fainted, and she flew past the scientist into the halls. Nearby, Valkrie could hear loud noises, like a battle was going on. A few Pokemon were fighting a Sceptile, some of them Legendaries. Valkrie charged the Sceptile with an Aerial Ace, and followed with a Dragon Claw.

The Sceptile flinched with each attack, apparently weakening. But it was still very powerful, and used Leaf Blade on Ame.

The still-Suicune gave a weak cry and struggled. Solar charged with a Crunch at the Grass-type, still causing it to cringe.

((Now, don't make it faint without me, okay? This is stronger than we think, as opposed to the Glalie. All of the scientists have very strong Pokémon, and I'll reveal why in a moment.))

"Quit it!" said Yamikurou, growling, and tore at its hip with a menacing Night Slash, which he used all his past emotions--such as despair, hope, and desperation--into. He knew it would be strong, but would it be enough?

Kamikaze was pumped up enough to transform, and shot hurricane winds at the Sceptile, hoping to knock it to the ground.

Tim held back. He was still a human, and knew he was a long way off transforming, do he decided to stay back. He had an ace up his sleeve, which could help the others if it was needed, and he doubted anyone would know he had it, since it wasn't hidden at all.
He watched the others take on the Sceptile, and hoped they didn't need his 'ace'. It could get him hurt - or worse - and it really was a last resort. He could also imagine a good degree of disapproval from the others, since under most circumstances his 'ace card' was considered immoral.

The Sceptile cried out at the Night Slash and Razor Wind combined, and was struggling, but still going. It used Leaf Storm to hit all the Pokémon.

Solar leaped in front of Ame, guarding her from the leaves. She still continued, and used Tailwind to blow all the leaves back towards the Sceptile, defeating it. She gave a little chuckle as the human looked on with dismay. Solar KO'd him with a simple Spark.

"I guess we can go now, huh?" Solar asked, flicking his tail towards a door nearby that was apparently an exit.

Ame rested her muzzle on his shoulder for a moment, thanking Solar for the help and being grateful for him escaping unscathed, then lifted it off and became human, heading silently towards the door.

Solar scented the air. "Tim, everyone, let's head out."

"Good idea," said Yamikurou. The tension from the battle, and that hung in the air, kept him in Absol form for a split second, and then it dropped upon him, forcing him back into human form. The same thing happened with Kamikaze.

"Are you stuck, Ame?" asked the Shiftry person.

"Thanks for the recognition," replied Tim, following Ame towards the door.
"Ow my head!" he shouted, as he began to move. "No it's aright," he corrected himself as he walked over, "although I think I could do with some water. Scotch would be better, but none of you will have any. None of you should have any, at least."
Shut up Tim.

"I just became human," Ame replied, smiling slightly at Kamikaze's being unobservant. She nodded. "Glad you're not stuck."

Solar waited for the others so that he could head behind them, bringing up the rear. He flicked his tail once more, then sat down.

((Fine, forget about me then! ;_;))
Valkrie dipped her head to the group of Pokemon and humans.
"May I join you," she asked. "My name's Valkrie, and I'm a Salamence, and human."

Amy was completely left behind because:
1. No one responded to how the Minimize was pulled off.
2. Everyone's time sped up and their lives died so they obviously sat at the computer all day without waiting for her.

((That was not what I did. And please don't break the fourth wall. By the way, Dragon, Chasers of Emotion is the name of the team, not the kind of person.))

"You're part of our team?" Ame asked. "I haven't seen you before. But the way you were back there, you looked like a valuable ally. Would you like to join us?"

Solar still stayed at the back, making sure no scientists reacted.

"Should we not be moving?" asked Tim. His head was still pounding. Why don't I have any painkillers? Oh yes some thief stole my bag. Oh well his loss, I didn't have anything that mattered in there - although the tablets would have been nice right about now.

((Mewtwo, can you please lengthen your posts from now on? The rules ask them to be more than one line.))

"We are moving," Solar said flatly. "If everyone's here, we'll head out."

Ame stopped in her tracks. "Where are we?"

This was not something she recognized. It appeared to be some kind of deserted city, but she knew there was activity somewhere nearby. "What now?" She groaned.

"Let me take a look," Solar said, stepping forward with his X-Ray vision.

Then, after a few seconds, he spoke. "There aren't many people here, if there are at all. They have a lab in secret so that no one finds out."

He suddenly flinched. He hadn't noticed the injury on his flank. It didn't seem to be very deep.

"Well, at least we're all right now," Ame said, sticking close. "But they probably did something to us..."

"Can anyone heal?" Solar asked. "This wound is killing me."

Ame hoped he wasn't being literal, but something told her he would be all right.

Amy whimpered sympathetically.
"I might be able to extend a Recover to that wound," she said, still in Starmie form.
She began to focus her power to heal wounds, and used her Psychic powers to shift her focus on Solar.
"It won't be as strong," she muttered through the concentration, "but it'll work to a certain extent."

"That's all right," Solar said, nodding. "Thank you. I don't have a lot of experience with being a Pokémon yet. I was originally a human..."

Ame didn't reply, but instead turned to Valkrie. "I've decided. I can officially let you onto the Chasers of Emotion. Would you like to be one of us?" She turned around.

After waiting for Valkrie's reply, she tried to find out. "How do we get out of this...?"

Valkrie grinned, and turned back into a human. She nodded.
"I'd like that," she agreed. "And, can't we just blast the walls out...?"

"They were too strong," Ame said. "And it would have been easier to get out if we broke through our chains first, hmmm?" She chuckled. "And then it's less tough to break one bar and head through the door rather than collapsing the whole wall."

Solar said. "We're not in any normal deserted city. It's a maze made of buildings, and we have to get out. If any of you have enough emotion to transform and fly at the moment, please do so, so that we can scout our way out of the maze, or at least get a glimpse before we go. I do have X-ray vision, but the maze is too elaborate for me to see our exact path."

"Since Absol lives in the mountains, might it be able to scale a building and jump from one to the next? Then again, that won't help any more than anything else, and what if I fall?" Yamikurou had been talking this whole time. Kamikaze wasn't doing anything other than looking around.
