• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Open Chasers of Emotion (the second)

"No," Solar replied, shaking his head, "But if it's a sliding house, do you think that you could blow it away?"

Of course, he knew nothing of the disappearing houses until it happened somewhere behind and to the east of the group. But the wall was clearly visible from that point, at least to Solar.

"Wait!" He cried, swinging his head around. "They also teleport!"

"That means we need to be even more careful," he added.

Kamikaze didn't have to do as much thinking as he had to a moment before. "Is there any way I could strike wind at them while also damaging their teleportation and mobility circuit?" He hoped his language wasn't too advanced for the Luxray, whom he knew was smart, but he didn't quite know his true identity...

((:DDDDDDD

Well, at least he's not Paper, but then he'd be a Stantler.

And yes, Cryptica does know these things because she's my twin sister.))

"Probably not," Solar replied.

"Wait a moment," he said.

After a few seconds of staring around the maze, for any kind of energy rather than passageways, he confirmed, "There is energy inside them that causes them to do this. My guess is that they're fake, but with some kind of advanced mechanical device in them."

"I have an idea," Masquerade said. He landed to use all his psychic energy for this. He concentrated and attemped to move the wall up with Psychic energy. ((Darksong, please say if this works or not.))

The building shuddered, and rose a few feet, just enough for everyone to go through.

"Come on!" Ame called. She urged Solar under, and waited for the others. "I'll go through last. I want you guys to go. I'll keep an eye behind us!"

And, in another location, far off, a building dissipated and appeared at the exit; but even though the real exit was blocked, the teleporting building had revealed another that was closer to the group than the old one.

"No, I'll go last." Masquerade muttered. "I need to hold up the building, anyways." he continued to hold up the building, even though it was hard.

Tim quickly ducked under the building, and stood close enough to the other side to catch it should something happen. He hoped it wouldn't, and also if it did he'd be able to feel enough...concern to be able to change. It didn't help when that had only ever happened when blood relatives were involved, but still.

Amy crawled under, sensing Masquerade's struggle. She added in her own Psychic to relieve him a bit.

((Um... That doesn't mean he peed))

((I know))

"You first," said Yamikurou. Kamikaze nodded and went through while the Absol continued his statement. "If one of us is trapped, it has to be me."

Kamikaze didn't hear this, due to the level of quietness at which it was, but continued on and stepped behind Solar.

((Name: Hano (a play on Hana)
Age: 15
Gender: Male
Side: CoE
Species: Hitmonlee
Personality: Hano has a good sense of humor, but someone who never met him might say he talks weird... despite this, he is very determined and never gives up. Sometimes he can be reckless, but other times he is very careful not to reveal himself to the enemy. He doesn't back down from a mission even if it is a 100% chance of death.
Bio: He was about 12 when he figured out he could transform. He was very excited when he did so, but got used to it and calmed down, thus sticking himself to the form. In fear of being shunned and not recognized, he fled to the CoE group.
Appearance: See "awesomest sprite ever." Except not that detailed.
Other: He'll come in from around the corner if you accept him.))

((Accepted! :D))

Reluctantly, Ame dashed under, and waited for the others.

"Wait!" Solar said. "Someone's here!"

((That's your cue, Cryptica!))

((Right here))

Hano dashed around from behind a corner, which would be enough to startle Solar. He wondered if anyone wondered how he was this fast...

"Do I know you?" he asked Solar.

Kamikaze dashed under the wall.

Solar blinked at the newcomer. A... Hitmonlee? Did he...?

As if to ask if the Hitmonlee knew him silently, Solar stared into the newcomer's eyes.

Ame looked over. She became Suicune and her fur bristled as she glared at the Fighting-type. But something... made her settle down and become human again. There was something with him that... made her remember something. But she couldn't exactly remember. She thought that somehow, he had something to do with Solar...

((I haven't really been around...))
Valkrie blinked, and stepped under the building. Seeing the Hitmonlee, she started, and changed back to human.
"Who are you," Valkrie asked.

"You can call me Hano," the Hitmonlee said, "But I am in a bit of a hurry--I'm not sure whether someone is chasing me." He looked behind him, and then back to the group. "What are you doing?"

((Is he going to respond to Solar staring into his eyes?))

Ame looked at the newcomer again. "Hello, Hano. But... how can you talk? You're a Pokémon, aren't you?" She looked confoundedly at him, perplexed at his ability to speak, but not his human appearance.

"I got stuck," he said, slightly embarassed. He looked at Solar. "I definitely know you from somewhere, but I guessed my memory was erased or something..." He looked beyond the Pokemon and to the wall. "Do you want me to break that or something?"

"It would be much easier on Masquerade, that's for sure," Solar replied.

Ame blinked. Solar was usually somewhat apathetic, but perhaps he was alluding to somet other trait.

The Luxray nodded towards the building. "Go on," Solar urged.

All right, this was creepy. Solar was being rather nice.

"Is it okay with Masquerade?"

Without waiting for a reply, he dashed forwards and aimed his foot at the wall in a leap.

((This is a short post DDDD:))

"Yes, it's allright, as this is quite heavy..." the wall dropped a little bit as he talked, but immediately he raised it back up again. It slowly started dropping, though, so slowly no one noticed.
