Arena: A Very Large Chunk of 60% Cocoa Dark Chocolate

This is another one of Linoone's infamous food arenas. Although not as interesting as, say, a blueberry pie or a cup of tea, chocolate is still chocolate, and this very large chunk of 60% cocoa dark chocolate is the good stuff indeed. This chunk of chocolate is a rich, dark color, for it has been made from the finest cocoa beans grown in the region of Teakod, a place famous for it various foods and tea (mostly tea). A faint, sweet aroma hovers over the arena constantly. The battlefield is simple: a large, 30 by 20m (about 100 by 65 ft) rectangular chunk of chocolate. The chunk of chocolate seems to be infinitely tall, but falling off is impossible, for any Pokemon (or careless human) knocked off the arena will be magically transported back on. The chocolate is hard, but digging in it would be no problem at all, for it is easily malleable.

Chocolate is not chocolate if it does not melt, and the arena does just that -- it starts rock-hard, but will slowly soften over time until it becomes a slightly squishy (but still solid) block at the end of the fifth round. The chocolate then stops melting. However, extremely hot temperatures will cause the chocolate to melt considerably faster, and one can even create pools of molten chocolate (mmmm... delicious) with a flamethrower if one feels like it. The pool will gradually solidify into a soft solid though. The softened chocolate does not have much effects, unless you count squishiness as an effect.

The arena is, of course, edible. A Pokemon can spend an action to eat a piece of chocolate for a temporary caffeine-induced boost (Attack, Special Attack, and Speed +1 for 3 actions). However, the caffeine-induced crash aftereffect will cause the Pokemon to temporary loose -2 Speed, -1 Attack, and -1 Special Attack for 2 actions after the boost has faded. The boosts can be stacked (for example, a Pokemon can be ordered to eat 2 pieces of chocolate at once, which counts as two actions, and receive +2 boost in Attack, Special Attack, and Speed for 3 actions, but receive a 2 action crash of -4 Speed, -2 Attack, and -2 Special Attack).

Other: People and Pokemon allergic to chocolate are not recommended to battle here. The referee gets to keep the arena (which is an infinitely tall chunk of chocolate) after the battle is over.

And, Crazy Linoone, I want at least half of the chocolate for doing this

Of course. ^^

Let's go Vulpix. We'll start simple. Go on and use Sunny Day first. Then we'll have you use Safeguard and finish up with Imprison. All the while stay running aimlessly to avoid as much damage as possible.

Sunny Day~Safeguard~Imprison

Welllll....

Since you've evolved into a big bad Croconaw, start with a Sword Dance and a Sword Dance to get some crazy attack boost that will come in very handy later on. Yes... Then, since the it's kinda Sunny and annoying right now, Rain Dance just because. Oh, and if you want, laugh at the sad little Vulpix wasting all her energy running around randomly and using Sunny Day while you're not even going to attack her.

On a gigantic chunk of dark chocolate cake, 60% to be presize, the ASB trainers Crazy Linoone and Kindling Queen appear, accompanied by a Turtwig wearing a hat with the letter 'E' on it and an Abra wearing a santa claus costume. the trainers shake hands, and then each go to one end of the Cake, sending out their pokemon. Linoone sends out Crunch the Croconaw, while Kindling Queen sends out her unnamed Vulpix.
Both issue their commands while their pokemon stare at the cake and get ready, each in his own way. "The battle may begin!"

Both pokemon started the battle by staring at the cake- So tasty...
How could one withstand?
However, neither had a choice, and while they hoped they would be commanded to eat some cake, they had to start fighting.

Vulpix bolted to the left, a small sphere a few centimeters before her mouth.
Small flames flickered inside it, and slowly grew, first creating solar energy, and then a small shell that would protect the high explosive package for a short while. After that, the flames inside the sphere started coming out of it, covering it in flames while she was busy with running around aimlessly. Then, she stopped running for a moment, sat down and released the ball towards the sky. However, instead of waiting for the effect, she started running again, highly amusing Crazy Linoone nad Crunch.

Crunch didn't have any intentions to attack the Vulpix. At least, not yet.
A light green glow started covering his fingers, claws, or whatever else a Croconaw had in it's hands, and started a wierd dance. He slashed around with his claws and chomped the air, as if there would have been an opponent a few feet before him. Vulpix, still running, didn't really bother about it, but found it rather annoying. The green glow around Crunch's claws became bigger, and looked like a set of massive claws. However, seconds later, it puffed away, leaving Crunch a little more agressive.

Vulpix kept on running, now making her next prepartion. She started chanting some words, grey notes visibly coming out of her mouth. Then, after there were about 20 notes, they stated floating around her, circling her and the taking on the shape of light grey rings, and creating a halfway transparent shield around her. Satifised, Vulpix put her mind on running again.

Funnily enough, Crunch decided that doing another dance won't be bad. He started dancing around in a wierd fashion, again, and the green energy claws from before reappeared, not as long as they were at the end of the previous dance, they were still long. Crunch started slashing the air while jumping from leg to leg, a green glow slowly covering his body. After dancing for a while, the glow started chaging, becoming a pink glow rather than a green one. Crunch let out as sigh, and stopped dancing, now much more agressive than at the start of the battle, and more amused than before from Vulpix' running around.

Vulpix looked at Crunch angrily. Why isn't he attacking? she asked herself in frustration, and kept running, now charging a new type of attack. A red 'X' popped up in her mouth, not much bigger than a fly. She kept on running and panting, and tried to keep up while charging the attack. After a few moments, the shape of an X, the size of a Croconaw, was above her head. It started glowing, and another X appeared behind Crunch. It flew trough his Stomach, coming out on the other side along with a part of Crunch's abillities. For quite some time, Crunch would find himself unable to use some moves.

Crunch didn't bother about the strage event, however. He started dancing again, shouting things like "BreakDance!", "Im the dancing King!", and "Let's Disco!", which only undestood, even if hardly. The sun was above the two competitors, but not for long. While Crunch was dancing, clouds started forming in the sky, slowly covering it and hiding the sun. Moments afterwards, it started raining, making the whole area wet and making the Cake cool down. On the other hand, Vulpix' temper started becoming hotter, and she let out a howl while running.

Ahahahahaha AHAHAHA ahem. Sorry.

That was great, Crunch! And the rest is easy~ Spam Waterfall until the Vulpix dies. Because you Attack is super high right now, you should deal tons of damage. If the Vulpix digs, shoot some Water Guns down the hole to drown it. If it double teams, spray Water Gun around to kill all the clones. If the weather becomes sunny for whatever reason, Rock Slide.

^^ Aw, so excited is Linoone when Swords Dance doesn't boost Sp. Attack (cough-waterattacks-cough)

Mm, let's work with sacrifice my love. Take that first Waterfall and afterwards use Disable. Then we'll move in with two Energy Balls. Mm, Crunch will be on standby without his Waterfall so this all plays out nicely no?

I feel rather rude for bumping in, but there are only 3 actions per round. So technically Vulpix should only have expended 6% energy for running around.

Both pokemon come back to battle, each of them eager to finally damage their opponent, one basing on pure offence and one going more tactical. Crunch jumped around nervously, looking at the cocoa cake greedily, masses of drool coming out of his mouth and soaking the cake. Vulpix, disgusted by the Croconaw's behavior, and starts licking her paw, trying to think about something else. However, she doesn't have a choice, because the referee shouts "start fighting!"

Vulpix looked at her trainer, asking herself if she should seriously expose herself to one of those wierd waterfall attacks. However, a quick look into her trainer's eyes explained it all. It was all part of her plan.

Crunch, seeing that Vulpix wasn't moving from her spot, decided that he should attack Vulpix. He started mixing water in his stomach, and it started gurgling in his neck. After a few seconds, a stream of water came out of his mouth and he started running forward, the water gliding under his body. A few seconds later, he zoomed towards Vulpix, riding on a stream of water that was underneath his body. He stopped near Vulpix, landed on his feet a few centimeters from her, and then released the same stream, this time upwards, throwing himself and Vulpix up, the latter under extreme pressure. Vulpix was thrown backwards a good few feet, landing on the cake with a loud thud. Crunch landed on his legs, satifised by what he had done.

Vulpix shook her head angrily, and looked towards Crunch. She focused on his mind, ifit even existed, and tried to reach it, to pick up that damned move and delete it. However, a few moments before she could delete his memory, she lost focus, the connection between their minds puffing away.

Vulpix shook her head and looked at Crunch, and let out a howl. That wasn't nice! She started storing grass energy in her body, a green glow coming out of her mouth. Then, green bubbles started coming out of the cake, creating a ball of natural energy before her mouth.
She released it towards Crunch, who let out a roar when it hit him straight in the forehead, sending him flying backwards.

Crunch groaned, rubbing his sore forehead. While it did hurt a lot, there were no signs that he was hit by an Energy ball, with the expection that his forehead was steaming, literally.
Water started gathering in his mouth, once again, and it started going up, reaching his tongue, and then coming out of his mouth, making him look like he let the drool of a few weeks gush out of said organ, and then released it again, running towards Vulpix, water sprouting out of his mouth, and he then jumped forward, gliding on a stream of water again. The rain seemed to create a magical aura around Crunch, making the stream even stronger and his movement faster, throwing him and Vulpix two meters above the ground, and stopping, badly injuring Vulpix and not hurting Crunch even a little.

Vulpix started shaking again, the Hallucination coming up again. However, this time, it came a little bit too late- she was already charging up her next attack. Nature power started coming out of the chocolate cake once again, and a ball of, well, nature energy was generated before her mouth. After a few moments, a ready attack was before her mouth, ready to be released. She let go, and it zoomed towards Crunch, hitting him again. This time, however, it was not as strong as the previous one.

Crunch started jumping from leg to leg nervously, water gushing out of his mouth, and this time, in addition, out of his nostrils. Water gurgled in his mouth for the third and last time in the round, and then released a stream of water out of his mouth and nose, creating a path of water and zooming towards his opponent, hitting her on her side and sending her flying backwards, dealing, as with the rest of the attacks of that round, heavy damage, but not as much as in the previous times.

Okies, well we did manage to keep the health close together so I applaud you for that but we must do our best to see to it your time out here is not to be wasted. We'll start with Psych Up. Quick Attack+Double Edge to avoid his moves and strike before he can react. For any damage he tries to inflict on you the first and last action since you'll dodge anything the second, I find it safe enough to throw yourself over the edge during the attack to avoid it at all costs since no harm is said to come in doing so. Just make sure you do it once the attack has been released so he doesn't catch you teleporting back onto the arena. If he finds a way to avoid the attack than switch to Chill.

Psych Up~Quick Attack+Double-Edge/Chillx2

:/ Crunchy, time to spam some Waterfalls. Get the Vulpix while it's still using Psych Up; even if you're slower, you might make it flinch and not use the Quick Attack + Double-Edge combo, so yay. Since it should be pretty hard to use Psych-Up while running away from your opponent at the same time, there's no need to worry about the Vulpix's escaping. After that, if the Vulpix flinches, spam Waterfalls. If it doesn't, then brace yourself and wait for its second attack to hit, then watch it run around trying to dodge an attack for a while (you may laugh evilly if you want). Then, when it thinks the coast is clear and stops trying to dodge attacks, spam Waterfall again.

Vulpix started focusing, entering his mind. She started focusing, and her mind slowly degraded, his power boost slowly seeping into her own mind. Moments later, her muscles started growing, and she let out a howl, a smug look getting smeared on her face.

Crunch groaned, but had other stuff to do. Water covered his mouth again, and came out of everywhere in his body- from his ears, from his nostrils, and from the mouth. He charged at Vulpix, and the tried to slam into her. Unfortunately for him, he missed her by far, zooming next to her and landing on the cake.

Vulpix let out a loud laughter, and then looked at Crunch. Energy started seeping into her body, and she charged towards Crunch, only to find herself unable to control her direction and zooming by him, falling on her nose and standing up again, said organ bleeding a little. She shook her hand, and started running around, going to the edge of the arena.

This time, it was Crunch's turn to laugh. He walked towards Vulpix, water slowly gushing in his mouth, and then released it in a stream towards Vulpix, jumping into the stream and zooming towards her. He slammed into her with his forehead, hitting her in the head and sending her flying backwards.
Vulpix let out a howl of pain, and landed on the cake, soaked from the rain.

Crunch moved again, charging towards Vulpix again and releasing another stream of water. He hit her again, but this time not as bad, and throwing her a few feet backwards.

Vulpix started running around, doing her best to stay away from Crunch, and hoping he won't hit her with another one of these cursed waterfall attacks. She started running in circles, staying at the edges all the time.

Crunch groaned, and, figuring he won't be able to hit Vulpix, sat down and relaxed, energy quickly seeping into his body. Crunch let out a sigh, feeling his body quickly cooling down, absorbing every drop of water that landed on his skin.

Vulpix, figuring Crunch won't attack her, started slowing down, coming to a halt a few moments afterwards.

Vulpix shook her head, and started focusing on how desperate she was. Moments afterwards, drops of sweat covered her body, and a dark glow covered her. Then, letting her desperation fuel her, she charged towards Crunch, running like the wind, and then slamming into him as hard as she could. The power of the impact sent Crunch flying backwards, landing on his back with a thud. Vulpix started giggling, angering Crunch even more.

Crunch let out a roar, which was cut short by the gurgle of the water that filled his mouth. Moments afterwards, Crunch let out a stream of water towards Vulpix, the rain making the attack stronger than it would normally be. After a short while, Vulpix' body was totally soaked, and her anger bigger.

Vulpix groaned again, and the same black glow from before covered her. Then, she let out a howl of despair, and charged towards Crunch, slamming into him once again. This time, however, Crunch wasn't sent flying, but still fell on the ground clumsily.

Crunch started gurgling once again, and released another stream of water towards Vulpix. It hit her point blank, throwing her back a few feet, and then stopping, leaving on the ground without moving a bit.

Health: 33%
Energy: 52%
Status: Arr!(Attack boosted by 4)
Attacks used: Chill~Water Gun~Water Gunl

Reff's notes:
-Its raining for 1 more action.
-The rain raised Crunch's energy restoration by 5% in the chill attack.
-After all modifiers, each water gun lowered Vulpix' hp by 10, just enough to KO her.
-Flail had 10 base power on the first time, and 12 on the second.
-KQ sends her next pokemon out and issues commands.
-Linoone issues his commands.
-Maybe I made some minor mistakes...But that's unlikely.

-Flail had 10 base power.

Hm...there's just something off here. The maximum Power of Flail is 20 but she was fairly desperate considering her significantly low health and wet state and as her HP decreases the amount of power put into it increases. It can't be 10 both times and even so, you'd have to add the +4 attack gained from copying Crunch's stats which seems highly unlikely for you to have done since the increase in Flail's attack power stayed the same. Flail was a physical attack therefore putting the additional points into play.

Hmmm... Yes, I forgot to calculate in the attack boost.
I'll fix that.
And what you said sounds like quite a good reason... I'll raise the second attack's power by 2%, then.
