Kamek!

To defeat a Kamek, you must jump on it's head!

EDIT: this is knowledge from the sirens in bowser's castle. kind of.

wait, is there a way to destroy kamek in the old mario games? oh yeah, kamek gets huge and mario comes. that's bad

Uh, I'm not quite sure what the point of this topic is, but...
This SPOILERIFFIC VIDEO is a really satisfying... video game... enemy's defeat...

Wait a sec... don't you defeat everything in Mario by jumping on their heads?
 
Well there's Robotnik/Eggman, who you defeat by... uh... jumping on his head -_-;
 
...IIRC Magikoopas first appeared in Super Mario World, at which point just jumping on them would kill 'em. In the Yoshi's Island series I truthfully don't know if it's actually possible to kill Kamek—I don't think so. But yeah, jumping on their heads. IIRC fireballs don't even work!

...And in Galaxy they can be killed either way.
