Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.
Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.
Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?
this is bollocks
my girlfriend and I are in an opposite-sex relationship
the fact that I possess two x chromosomes does not change that
when you're talking about sex and gender in this context, they're the same, surely????
Now, back on topic:
How does this proposal affect trans* people? Are they eligible for marriage now? I know in some states trans* people are completely barred from marriage, and I was wondering if this was the case in New York.
I hope NY doesn't require SRS for any of those changes.I'm pretty sure that once you've changed the gender marker on your birth cirtificate / ID / however this crap works, then if you want to marry someone of the same gender, that is gay. According to the ~law.
Which means that any relationship I would be in would be queer! Special snowflake right here.
>"brain sex"
I lol'd.
Oh um
sex is the noun
not the verb
we are not talking brains having sex
so it's not very funny at all
Also: So, who else thinks this is going to get reversed like in California? =/
Unless they elect a majority of ultra-conservatives into their legislature in the next cycle...
