Hail in JUNE!? (AKA Return of the Crazy Weather)

Eeveelution

Among the few morons with straight A's.
Okay, the past few seasons have had weird weather. Spring and winter-like fall, warm winter days, and now, to top it all off, it was hailing here in Indiana. Hard. My house was lucky, but others were hit pretty bad. My dad actually has a video (sadly, no sound) of the hail. One of his coworkers had just gotten a new car, so he went outside with this big hard-plastic-cover-sheet-thing to cover his car, but he gave up before even reaching the front hood. (It's actually pretty funny to watch.) One local restaurant actually had a sign that said "Hail to the Food" or something like that. xD

Anyone else have weird weather lately?

You should see it here in Washington state. It was absolutely freezing this winter (we had snow through March), and one day in April in Seattle, it snowed, rained, hailed, and was sunny all within half-an hour NO LIE. The same happened about 3 weeks later, it hailed, rained and was sunny within a 15-minute period while my uncle was driving me home from school. Fortunately, we don't get huge hail, ours is pretty harmless.

Hahah, here in Alberta I expect a snowstorm sometime during summer vacation. Hell, you can expect that in most areas of Canada.

Had a hailstorm last month, and another in April. In fact, we actually had a few weekends of cold and rainy weather in May.

Now that it's June, though the weather has stabilized.

In september 2008 we had 75mph wind gusts for 1 day.School was cancled for a few days.

central ohio has had normal weather most of the time due to being boring

Hey hey hey, we're supposed to get hail tonight too, here on the west side of the U.S. :o

Funny thing is, it's a storm system heading west. WTF.

Oh, it's June (you should know that by now, though), we're in an arid area, experiencing a drought, and it's been raining for the past week. Did China and the U.S. switch locations unexpectedly? Are we experiencing a fucking monsoon?

Everybody: LET'S ASK AL GORE! 8D

Earlier this year in Science my teacher told us that if the moon was out of line our weather would be weird or something like that. I raised my hands and asked, "Isn't it already happening with the weather?"

They were forecasting hail here last weekend, and I had to bring my plants in under the porch and all that. I'm not sure if the hail actually came though.

This isn't really crazy weather, but it's been rainy and dreary all day for the past three days. There was even a flood warning. Yesterday was my last day of school, and the last day of school is supposed to be bright and happy and sunny. :(

^Ahahaha, I beat you :3

On our last day of school (last year), a tornado touched down only a few miles away. It was all hailing and the streets were flooded and our power went out...

It was made pretty fun by two things:

1. Out of all the cars in the parking lot, our principal's back windshield got smashed.

2. Jake said he was thirsty, and therefore picked a hailstone off the ground and put it in his mouth, just to spit it out half a second later and look at us all with a disgusted expression, saying it was salty.

Winnipeg is in the red river valley, the meaning of flood warning is that spring is here. Spring can be accopanied by late snowfall, and as late as june, I swear. Snow is also as early as september, and summer is unreasonably warm in comparison to the rest of the year. Rain is my least favourite weather, I have a paper route...

You know, Hail doesn't come with cold weather. It happens in Thunderstorms occasionally.

Heh, I experienced that hail too, since I'm in Indiana right now. It happened when we'd just gotten home from shopping. I'm still wondering how the hell those baseball-sized clumps of ice managed to stay airborne long enough to actually form.

Right now It's really damn hot over here (Vancouver Island, BC) and that's about it. Yesterday it was so hot that the butter we kept in my Communications class melted to a completely liquid form. Not just runny, but that bright piss-yellow liquid you get when you microwave it.

it was almost 40 degrees in the shade x_x

Yesterday a thunderstorm came to my town and there were high winds. Luckily I was inside and nothing bad happened. A couple of my friends that are in band had to march in the storm against the wind! But the strangest thing was that it was hot and sunny earlier that day.

This^
This year is just stupidly cold -_-
And it hailed here a few days ago too
Probably gonna just be boiling in a couple of weeks though -_-
(I live in Winnipeg too :D)

Technically the Summer is when it hails the most. Where I live, weather is basically unpredictable, rainstorms and such last about 15 minutes and stuff like that. Of course, this place is also known for Spring-time blizzards.

So I live in Alaska, right?

Snow in April.

Not just stuff left over from March, but it actually snowed in April.

For those that don't know, most of our snow is gone by February because the rain washes it away.

For the past week or so, though, it's been around 80 degrees Ferenheit. I know it sounds silly, but I can't go outside in hot weather like that. @a@;

Yesterday it hailed for, like, 5 minutes. Then it stopped. And today it's really hot outside. Weird.
