• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Hilarious, virus-induced, IE warning.

I just got this, and almost died of laughter when I read it.

Somebody failed epically when making their virus. Their punishment for laziness was 101 annoying trojans from me.

Also, I don't even use IE.

I've gotten that message before. It was slightly shorter, though. Luckily, my computer was fixed.

I'm wondering... how would someone be tricked like that?

Probably, he/she would, since they seem to have so little experience at putting viruses onto others' computers. That is not the least bit convincing, especially the fact that it's a pop-up; pop-up windows usually can't be trusted.

I downloaded XPantispyware2009 Because i was stupid. So i got a dataminer, A browser hijacker, And a hidden virus downloader. Dx i got rid of them though. I used the docter... The spy docter xP

O.O I thought that that screencap was of a legitimate download for Antivirus software for a while

One can fall for it if they aren't paying attention

*Slaps with newspaper*
Bad Ica! You do NOT fall for antivirus software warnings with spelling errors!!!
*Sends Ica a trojan with a spelling error*

Obvious virus thingy is obvious ^^

I love that: "100% free scan". Even on legitimate virus-scanning things, the scan is free, but if it finds anything bad it suuposedly costs the earth to actually do anything about it XD

Hehe... This is rather pathetic. If you know how to put viruses onto a computer, then you should have basic coding skills at least, I guess, in which case you should be able to at least spell 'crashes'.

*thought it was real, but wouldn't click on 'OK' anyway* XD

Oh god. THE CREAHES! What would happen if your computer had one of THOSE, eh?

You'd get stabbed with your computer's newly found mind powers.

What would I do if my computer creahes?

I don't know. I would be heartbroken and wished I had listened to those incredibly wise spyware warning dudes of incredible wiseness.

I wish I was as inredibly wise as they... *sigh*

Hmmm, I dunno? It seemed pretty serious to me. Besides you are supposed to use italics when you are being sarcastic.
