I'd put the basic gist (I think I spelled that right) of it in the plot. But just because:

Shugo Charas (which, by the way, hatch from eggs that magically appear. ^^) are the incarnation of one's "would-be self;" that is, what they would like to be. For example, suppose you wanted to be a singer; your Shugo Chara would probably be music-related. (It doesn't have to be career-related; if you just wanted to be more athletic, your Shugo Chara would be...well, more athletic!)

Ocassionally your Chara might attempt to interfere with your life by temporarily taking control of your words and actions; we call that a Character Change. Usually, something about them changes, too (a hair clip might change, for example). Though there are some instances where a "trigger word" initiates a Character Change. (Just look up Tadase on that link. That says all.)

Then we have Character Transformations, but beofre we get into that I should explain what may happen if you're somehow convinced that your dreams are useless:

Basically, if you have a Chara already, it may get forced back in its egg, but either way, the egg will turn into what we call an "X-Egg." And if that egg hatches...well, you'll be in quite a predicament.

Now for Character Transformations: Basically it's when a Chara merges with its owner. They usually get nifty abilities relating to whatever that particular Chara specializes in. Normally these are used to purify X-Eggs and X-Charas.

And that's pretty much all the basics. ^^
 
Time Psyduck, if you make the RP I'm Dragon and Flying type, or morphed with a Dragon and Flying type.

You know what Pokemon I mean. *coughcough*

Kids these days. :P

Celestial Blade, are they to be NPCs? If that's the case, then there is no reason we should exclude characters because they seem similiar. I mean, I could see what Philly's getting at if they were to be playable.

...And gains his opponent's weapon...and has a dog that could be incorporated into many attacks...and is generally nothing like Samus other than the lasers.

Anyway, I second that the list needs more Geno. If he were playable, I'd play him. :3
 
To be honest, I'm not planning to start Mt. Vesever again, but you can start it anytime you want, with all I wrote and stuff.
