Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Closed Look Good, Boogie Down, Strut Your Stuff: A Super Contest RP!

Mysti clapped after every Pokemon was done modeling on the runway.Vulpix jumped for joy, seeing what a contest - er,mock contest - really looked like.

(Me!)

"Your turn," whispered Edward to Starr.
"No problem," replied the Staravia. "I have some things in mind."

Starr took off low and entered the runway, gliding a foot over the ground. He did a half loop and then a roll so that he was straight, but facing the opposite way he was. The bird then swooped down and up while barely not touching the ground.

He exited the runway.

Safira flung the pebble for a lucky audience member to catch, then jumped and did a 360-degree spin in the air, landing successfully on two legs. She leaped off the runway, doing a flip before she landed next to me. "Did I do okay?" she asked.
"You were great!" I replied.

"Very nice, all of you!" Dexter smiled as soon as we had undressed our Pokemon.

"Since this is just a rehearsal, we're not keeping score." Keira assured us. With that, she lead us into the next practice room, where a black stage stood in the center. It looked like a stage that would be used on a Dancing Star machine in an arcade--only it was much larger, had many more arrows and no screen.

"Next is the Dance competition." Dexter explained. "How many of you have at least heard of the video game 'Dancing Star'?" I raised my hand as high as the others.

"Our Dancing Stage plays very similar to 'Dancing Star'...only here, you don't follow predetermined arrows on a screen." Keira explained. "You and your Pokemon may do whatever moves you want, provided one or both of you touch some arrows at any point during the performance...so anyone wish to try it?"

I shot up my hand--this sounded fun and challenging.

"Sounds good." Edward raised his hand. He'd never heard of the game, but he'd be able to try. Or at least, Starr would. The starling chirped.

"We'll try," Ella said.
"Hell no," interrupted Nafter. "I. Do not. Dance."
"Oh, yes you do, Lover Boy," Ella retorted, her eyes glittering with amusement. "This ribbon's for Glimmer, remember?"
Nafter turned bright red and had nothing more to say, except for "Hmph," before getting onto the dance mat.

(Glimmer is an Ampharos he has a crush on ;D)

Safira's hand shot up before mine. She loved dancing graceful steps. Supporting her, I raised my hand with her.

Keira looked around at the number of volunteers. "Which pair wants to go first?"

"Pika pi! Pika pi!" Lita called.

"We went first in the mock Visual, so let's let someone else do their mock Dance first." I assured her.

"I'll do it!" I called out. Safira nodded excitedly, stepping up to the platform immediately. Before anyone could respond, she had done a soft spin clockwise, tapping the yellow and green arrows. She then jumped and tapped her paws, hitting the blue and green arrows. Finally, the Lucario switched her feet's positions, still touching the same arrows; however, her feet were in opposite places. She then stood straight, ending her performance.

As Jack slept outside on the bench, he was awoken when Jumpup suddenly appeared out of his Pokeball.
"What are you doing, Jumpup?" he asked.
"Spoink... Spoi-Spoi!" the Spoink replied, worriedly.
"Oh... So you're nervous?"
The Spoink nodded in agreement.
"Well, I am too," said Jack. "So don't worry. We'll just wait for the next tour to be over, and it'll almost be contest time!"

Keira led the applause for the Lucario, then asked. "Anyone else want to try?"

"I will!" I volunteered. With that, I stepped on the stage and a small screen displaying the list of songs rose up from the floor. After cycling through the massive song list a few times, I spotted one familiar song--the ending from Lita's favorite show, "Yes! Pokemon 5"

After confirming the song sending the small screen back inside the stage, I posed with Lita. On the first "Oooooooh, Go!" we jumped, each of us hitting two different sets of arrows on the "Go!" Lita then proceeded to mimic the steps of the two Pichu mascots, Chisa and Kogata, remembering to jump on her arrows on the "Hey!"

We then proceeded to do the whole dance in the show. In fact, Lita didn't even notice the words were in the original Japanese, right down to the last line: "Pokemon no mahou; happy coming, Hey!"

Mysti and Firefox looked in awe as the Pokemon gracefully danced. They were so good! "So, do you want to keep watching them, or get a little extra practice dancing?" Firefox kept looking. I guess she wanted to stay.

"Good job." Shadow said, "I'll go next, if nobody minds."

(What songs would be on the machine?)

(Songs from all versions of the Pokemon anime, Pokemonized Dance Dance Revolution/In the Groove songs and various Pokemonized anime and games)

(Okay)

Shadow picked the song Spurt!

Magma stood on the other machine.

At the start of the song, they hit the front arrow and then the right. When the song got louder and more danceable, they started to do some jumps, even diagonal ones.

"Your turn, Starr," said Edward.

The bird hung his head. "Birds can't dance."

"We'll think of a solution. Kiera, is there a way that birds can dance?"
