The world of Dreams is a complex and dangerous place, born from the collective minds of all the people who have ever had a dream, fantasy, flight of fancy, or nightmare. Creatures both weak and strong dwell in the shining halls of his realm, beauty unmatched flowing through this world like water, the sky gleaming with hopes and magic. This pure realm where dreams come to life. Dreamers wander here, exploring the wild jungles and vast seas of their own creation, and the creations of others.
But parts of the Dream are not all pure and sweet - the Nightmare lurks in the shady corners of the world, where creature created from the fears, hate, and anger of lost Dreamers dwell. Something twisted the sleeping fantasy of those lost ones into vast worlds, unknown to most and filled with hatespawned monsters and hazards. The lost ones themselves have been drawn into the Nightmare, focused on the event that triggered their decent into hate and working to cure themselves or the world of what they perceive as wrong. The trigger events may vary from person to person but all are invariably vastly traumatizing, and a Dreamer can be lost for years as they slowly spiral into a Nightmare. But some Nightmares can find a source of power, and claim it as their own, becoming a frighteningly powerful Final Nightmare.
And these Final Nightmares are what drew the attention of a small group of Dreamers. They watched the creatures for a time, and were saddened by the suffering they saw. There was only one option, it seemed - end the suffering of these pained people by destroying the Final Nightmares. It was only then that they would be released by the clutches of hate and learn to face what had happened to them.
But how to reach them without being caught?
Eventually, they stumbled on a way - crafting a False Nightmare to wear as a disguise. A spark of Nightmare unformed, these disguises are what could have been - the potential for the Dreamer to descend into darkness. These proved to be the perfect disguise, falling only upon the Dreamer's death. They decided to carefully soothe the Final Nightmares' pain, as gently as they could.
But somehow, the Final Nightmares found out there were traitors among them. But who?
Only one way to find out - kill those who were suspicious until they found what they were looking for.

Shattered Dreams: A bright young boy whose promising future was stolen from him by the onset of schizophrenia in an environment that couldn't understand it. Seeing the world around him crumble into dust from severe drought, his psyche became increasingly frayed, as he retreated further and further into the fertile fields of his own mind. However, he is also incredibly delicate in his mental state; it certainly won't take much for all ties to his sanity to snap...
Twofold Malice: A cute face can hide terrible things. Treated more like a precious pet than a child, he grew up accustomed to getting what he wanted. And if he didn't get it, well... why not just take it? This sense of entitlement was allowed to fester, and turned the boy into a monster. People became his toys, and he would do as he wished with them, emotionally and physically. Life was a game, and oftentimes his toys wouldn't realize what they were dealing with until it was too late...
The Smile: A young girl born to loving parents, she through the world was perfect. But then, she learned otherwise, at the hands of some townspeople from the village over... She had to run from it all, she had to get away from the pain and hurt. She needed to find a place to escape, a place that was her own where she can be happy. She can be happy again, like before with Mama and Papa. She can’t remember why she was running anymore, she doesn’t see the pain and fear anymore. Everything is alright as long as she can smile and laugh, and if you smile the world will smile too... Right?
Primal Fury: The first half of the splintered mind of a woman trapped in a terrible and hopeless situation, this was her mind's attempt to escape the pressure by retreating into a baser form. A representation of the animal lurking in the depths of every human soul, she is a simple creature, ruled by instinct and the desire for pleasure. Despite her seemingly basic nature, she is still something ancient and powerful.
Battered Angel: An only child she was loved and cared for by her parents. She never knew of pain and fear until she ventured into the nearby village dominated by a foreign church, and from that moment on, she learned why her parents have kept her far from the village. They believed she was evil, preached to her about the demon she was. They have branded her with their mark and tried to kill her on a stone table. They wanted to wipe her off the earth, cleanse it of their monsters…why couldn’t she do the same with her cross-wearing monsters. Her wrath will not be sated until they burn…
Clockwork Conscience: The second half of the woman's shattered mind, it is a very artificial thing that transcends any baser human aspects like sexuality, so much so that it truly has no gender. It is focused entirely on morality and perfection, analyzing and passing judgment on everything it comes across. It is also a force of retribution, seeking to eradicate anything that threatens it, or its host's, image. For this reason, it wishes to destroy the Primal Fury...
Pinned Radiance: A vibrant and perky young woman who just happened to have been assigned the wrong body at birth. As she grew she slowly discovered who she really was, and the lovely girl within the shell began to emerge... but sadly she soon found herself beaten down by societal pressures around her. Even those who seemed sympathetic and caring refused to understand what she was really going through. Like a butterfly sprawled on a pin, she became a defeated potential, trapped in a glass case of expectations and never to fly...
Wild Spark: She was often reminded of the members of her family being carted off for claims of seeing ghosts. She never thought of them as crazy because she knew she wasn’t crazy when she spoke about the spirits that haunted her home. When she lost sight in her eye, the spirits were the ones that comforted her while the world looked away. No one would look her in the eyes anymore, not since one had become grey and the flesh scarred around the socket. The ghosts didn’t turn away from her though, they accepted her and told her that she was beautiful...
Barbed Wire Seraph: A Roma boy whose hopes for a happy life were stolen as he was taken into the worst atrocity in the 20th century. His time in the horrible work camp shattered his young soul. When he was finally freed, he tried at first to fill the void in him with empty pleasures, but still the pain held him back. Before much longer he could no longer take it, and cast away his doubts and fears, taking the very symbol of what had made him feel so trapped as his own personal weapon. He would reach out, fight, build a world where this would never happen again... and destroy anyone who tried to stop him.
Cry Havoc: A girl who, for all her life, idolized her older brother. He was a source of strength and hope in her life, supportive and loving of his little sister. They were the best of friends, and that love only grew stronger when he became absent, called into military duty overseas. One day, the family received a message: He was never going to come home. Overcome by grief at the news, she soon became obsessed with keeping his memory alive, taking on the image of everything she imagined him to be before his death, the brave soldier she was sure he'd been. She would make sure he would never really die...
Gehangte: As a young man he was considered a medical prodigy, entering into a university at the age of 16, and was licensed only a few years later. However, the Third Reich quickly found his skills very useful, pressuring him to do their horrible work. Though he did what they asked of him, he would spend much of his life suspended by crushing guilt, the screams of his victims ringing through constant nightmares... Years and years later, something inside him collapsed. He was tired of the pain, tired of the responsibility, so he surrendered to it, absolving himself of his conscience and becoming the monster he had always told himself he was...
Oedipus Felix: The only child of a young single mother, this young man was always very close to his beloved mother. Cared for lovingly and given what he needed, he was his mother's little boy, even as he grew to adulthood. But all could not last, and his mother grew ill and died. Heartbroken, the young man retreated into himself, seeking comfort in the memories of his lost mother, and the cats he so loved as a child. Soon, it became more than just a son's love for his mother, as the young man's form twisted to a more feline state...
Blood Ties: A hopeful young woman expecting her first child, once upon a time. But the baby girl had inherited a fatal blood disease from her father, and couldn't make it - the little one was lost before she could be born. Mourning her loss, she blamed herself for everything, and spawned a twisted Nightmare where her child still lived, but at a cost - the little girl was a twisted Fetus Terrible, sharing the closest bond two people can have, connected by the still unbroken umbilical cord, the towering monster-child defending her mother like a beast...
Bound Son: His parents had separated when he was still very young. Sent to live with his mother, his life soon became one of neglect, as his mother treated him more as a tool for gaining the respect of her peers than a son. Only the misguided loyalty that every child feels for their parents allowed him to endure being ignored at best, verbally and physically abused at worst. But as he grew older, the binds began to snap, one by one. He wasn't going to take this any longer. No matter how long it took, he was going to break free. He was going to escape.

For this game, you will select one of the Nightmares presented above. When all the slots are filled, what your Nightmare's role is shall be revealed to you via PM. The role will detail your Side (Dreamer or Nightmare) and what your night action is, if any.
You may talk out of thread, though I wish to see a record of this if you do.
The First Night will last 36 hours, and all days and nights after 24, though extensions may be award. Modkills may be handed out for inactivity.
